Why has Teresa stopped her media tour?

Didn't know she was on one? :waitasec: I've only seen her on Nancy Grace, who has stopped covering Haleigh for now and the show about missing kids w/ her and RC. What other shows was she on? TIA!

I got the impression that Nejame was not happy with her when they first appeared side by side on TV for an interview. He looked uncomfortable. TN would not like hard questions thrown at her about the case without an attorney to advise her what and what not to say. If another softball show comes up, we will likely see them again.

This doesn't address a media tour question, but she (TN) did speak to Laura Mazzeo of news4jax relatively recently. Possibly the day that the scrubs lady showed up at PCSO, but I'm not positive about that. There was something going on with the case that brought media to town that day.

Also, she did a telephone interview with Tom Wills of news4jax the day Somer's body was found, iirc.

eta - Also, re-asking my question re: personal injury/workers comp lawsuit. Thank you in advance.

Out of the thousands of pages of posts on the Haleigh Cummings thread, we still know hardly anything about her paternal grandmother who appears to have been the first non-LE on the scene and is presumably one of the last people to see her.

Is it because nobody can imagine her being involved in any way, shape, or form?

Is it because nobody wants to check her out?

Or am I just not seeing the whole picture clearly? [Admittedly, a possibility.]

The paternal grandmother is Teresa. Sounds like that is exactly whom LFlorida is speaking of, IMO.

Which Home?? If you are talking about Rita, that is not her addy. Tn lives/lives in Fruitland Park. In fact Sykes is listed on Rita in 2008 and so is Crystal. Must be a very popular piece of rental property. At one point, they all have made claim to live there.

Try doing a search on that piece of property and MH....

EMPLOYMENT - all I have officially heard was Alachua County Sheriff's Office as a dispatcher. I'm not even sure that was accurate because the same people were originally stating that she worked for Putnam County Sheriff's Office and Broward County Sheriff's Office.

Rumor-wise, I am aware of two other employers, but I have never seen it published, posted, or broadcast anywhere.

ADDRESS - Yes, I have about 10 different addresses associated with her name. The one [and only one] that is in the State's Licensing division is not the one that is on the street that rhymes with Pita Pain.

WARDROBE - lol, I probably am more familiar with hers than my own from her appearances on television, but I never considered any of it relevant except the Alachua County Sheriff's Office outerwear from the first interviews she and Ron did. [yes, I realize you were not being literal here.]

PHOTOS/FRAMES - IHNI.

BOYFRIEND - Yes, definitely worth sleuthing, imo. Do we have a link? t/y

ETA [Est. Time of Arrival] - very important also, imo, but probably best clarified by Ms. Neves herself via media. [lol, but I'll take a phone call.]

I think using the POLICE REPORT to determine Teresa's arrival time is best, rather than relying upon Teresa's memory when she was clearly under duress,

Let's look at the police report to attempt to determine her arrival time, shall we?

I'm looking at the police report.

Officer R. Nelson didn't arrive on the scene until 3:40 a.m.. He arrived on the scene at the same time as D/S Bridges. Upon arrival, he spoke to an emotional Ron and attempted to get information from him. Officer Nelson then moved on and interviewed Misty. He collected information from Misty which is listed in the report. It wasn't until after speaking with both Ron & Misty that Teresa arrived.

If you do the math:

Officer R. Nelson arrives at the scene at 3:40 a.m. Teresa was not there. That means she was not there at 3:30 a.m. (like she stated in an interview at some point).

~Officer R. Nelson interviews Ron.

~Officer R. Nelson then interviews Misty.

~He collects information from both of them during the interviews. (This takes time, obviously).

~The police report notes that after the initial interview of Misty, Teresa arrives.

~"At this time, Teresa Neves, arrived on the scene."

We know (FACT) Teresa was there at 3:49 am because this is the time that she called Crystal. Teresa probably arrived on the scene around 3:45.

Teresa was located, according to mapquest:

Estimated Time: 16 minutes Estimated Distance: 10.58 miles.

TERESA NEVES, HALEIGH CUMMINGS PATERNAL GRANDMOTHER: He called me.

VAN SUSTEREN: About what time did he call you?

NEVES: He called me 3:27, 3:28.

VAN SUSTEREN: So right after the 911 call? Right before?

NEVES: I believe that she was on with 911 when he called me.

911 CALL: (INAUDIBLE)

NEVES: He was in a panic.

911 CALL - RONALD CUMMINGS, HALEIGH CUMMINGS’ FATHER: I just got home from work. My five-year-old daughter is gone. I need somebody to be here now.

NEVES: And I thought, I am in my nightgown, and I am throwing me jeans on and going out of the door, and I thought that she is probably hiding under the bed or something.

VAN SUSTEREN: How far do you live from here?

NEVES: I live about somewhere between 12 and 15 miles.

VAN SUSTEREN: So did you hightail it over here?

NEVES: It took me about five minutes.

VAN SUSTEREN: So you did move fast.

NEVES: I was well over the speed limit, that's for sure. But I just thought if they got behind me, there would be more people here when we got here.

So, looking at the above, we KNOW (for a FACT) that Teresa was NOT there at 3:40 a.m. when LE arrives (it is noted in the police report) that Teresa was NOT there when the first officers (Bridges and Nelson) arrived. It is noted in the report:

~"At this time, Teresa Neves, arrived on the scene." This was right after Misty described taking HaLeigh on walks.

Regarding Teresa's employment:

The police report indicates TN place of employment and the location of her residence. The beauty license is done every two years the address on the license reflects her address 10/31/2007. Her realestate license was renewed 3/31/2006 and reflects her address at that time. The real estate license was not renewed as of 3/31/2009.

IMO the current police report trumps info from 2006 and 2007 regarding her home address.
