I read a lot of that teh....wow....wondered if that is related.

Is it odd that FDLE called the roundtable and not PCSO?

According to AMW

Sixteen FBI agents flew in to work on timelines on Feb. 11, 2009 and other agencies assisting that day included: St. Johns County, Flagler County, Volusia County, Marion County, the Florida Dept. of Law Enforcement, the State Attorney, 7th Circuit and various Fla. volunteer emergency service groups, Inv. Merchant said.

Something about those timelines must have told them she was not kidnapped. The FBI have her on their site as just missing.

I actually have never viewed that page before...the FBI page.

This is all getting pretty curious. I wish that article from FCN was still up.

Did she say the sheriff was corrupt, I can't read the whole article?

Through some back channels, I was asked (purportedly on behalf of Marie, but who the heck knows) if local LE was corrupt.

IMO - NO and FWIW, I have lived here for over 45 years. None of my relatives are LE or elected officials.

We have had a couple of bad cops, but what law enforcement agency has not?

We had a sheriff who apparently misused his authority to grope a couple of women [as did Flagler County, iirc.] When that came to light, he was soundly defeated for re-election by Taylor Douglas. You will not find a better good guy than Taylor anywhere, imo.

Both Dean Kelly and Jeff Hardy worked under Taylor. Although they vehemently oppose one another, I have to believe that they are both OK or Taylor would have spoken out way before Jeff was elected. [He did, btw, support Dean in his first run for sheriff vs. Jeff. I don't recall if he publicly supported either in the last election.]

I don't know who put the bug in MG's ear that LE is corrupt, but they did a fine job of doing it. Whoever it is is much more persuasive than I am because I have been telling y'all since the very beginning that ----

FBI & FDLE have been here on this case since the first day. The FBI is in charge of this investigation per my LE sources. NOT Jeff Hardy. NOT Peggy Cone. NOT John Merchant.

This is all pretty much JMO, so take it however you want to. But please feel free to refer to the press conferences from the very first week.

Back on-topic, does anyone have any reference to Teresa Neves ever working for Alachua County Sheriff's office that did not originate from her?

And why did she give her address as Rita Lane?

And why did she lead us to believe that Misty was Little Miss Wonderful?

And why did she mislead so many people about so much carp re: Ron, Misty, Crystal, et al?

Please, just stop and think about why she has said and done the things she has said and done.

jmo - Her actions and reactions are what have never gelled in this case in my mind.

Haleigh Cummings is believed to have disappeared from her home in Satsuma, Florida, approximately 75 miles east of Gainesville, during the early morning hours of February 10, 2009. Reportedly, Haleigh was last seen asleep in her home the night before she was discovered missing

from FBI link........odd choice of words. Sounds like they don't know if the story is true either.

I was just over to Timothy Holmseth's site, looks like the press release came from East Grand Forks, MN...sound familar? lol

There also is another quote “There are a lot of things that get misplaced and disappear in Putnam County and will never be found, that includes people, that is what is so terrifying about HaLeigh's disappearance,” Griffis said.

Maybe the grandmothers didn't know that?

Bottom line, they have questions and they should be allowed to ask them, and get answers. Haleigh is their grandchild and I for one would have some questions too. I would have liked to see the family united a long time ago.

Did we hear about one of the Gramd mothers taping LE....and LE was furious? If there is a tape, just sayin' it might have come from one of the GM'S.

I went in and looked at some of the other missing and they did not use ambiguous language like that.

Might need a new thread...

Good point. I'll close this one in a few minutes once everyone gets their current thoughts down.

So, the Grandmothers gave an interview to TM? I'd be interested to know what other people have disappeared from Putnam Co. and were never found. That's a pretty big red flag, if this is some kinda of common occurrence, people disappearing and never being found in Putnam Co. Does anyone know of others that this has happened to?

Wouldn't you have thought Timothy would have asked a follow-up question to clarify that statement ROTFL?

Actually, if you go here http://www.fbi.gov/wanted/kidnap/kidmiss.htm and click on Haleigh's link, it says
Haleigh Cummings is believed to have disappeared from her home in Satsuma, Florida, approximately 75 miles east of Gainesville, during the early morning hours of February 10, 2009. Reportedly, Haleigh was last seen asleep in her home the night before she was discovered missing.
And click on some others, there is no difference in the language, except in cases that have witnesses to the abductions. i.e.;

Trenton John Duckett reportedly has been missing from his home in Leesburg, Florida, since August 27, 2006.
Adji Desir has been missing from outside his grandmother's residence in Immokalee, Florida, since Saturday, January 10, 2009, at approximately 5:30 p.m. Adji reportedly went outside to play with neighborhood kids after dinner. He was reported missing a little while later and his whereabouts remain unknown.

Chioma Gray has not been seen since December 13, 2007. She is believed to have been taken from her high school in Ventura, California, and driven to Mexico by fugitive Andrew Tafoya. The two may be travelling in a stolen, white 2008 Acura TSX with California license plate 6AXX928.
