Does Starbucks give receipts? The coffee chain I go to only gives a receipt if you ask, so I am wondering if it is usual.
Yes, I've got a purse full of them and nowhere to turn them in!

I wish I did, too, BeanE. If Terri's story made sense or even stayed consistent and was corroborated by anyone, I think we would know.
My rule on the last known person to see a missing person is that I will give them the benefit of the doubt UNLESS their story changes or it makes no sense or both. I've seen a lot of cases on here, and I've never seen an exception to that rule.
If I was emailing a friend and telling them what time I left the school, I'd probably just round it off. I wouldn't say "I left the school at 8:52", I would just say 9.
It makes sense and is consistent to me. She told LE 8:45, she emailed 9:00. When I talk to my friends, I frequently round up or down. That's how most people talk in casual conversation. It's just not important to be precise to the minute in casual conversation.
Where it's important to be precise is when one is talking to LE. She told them, according to reports, 8:45. That's what I count as the official time she claims she last saw Kyron.
This is just no big deal.
I think it's a big deal. She changed the time, and the change just happened to coincide with the last time Kyron was seen.
Not only that, but if your stance is that 8:45 is the official time Terri says she last saw Kyron, then she must be lying, since the most up-to-date information we have from LE is that Kyron was last seen at 9:00 and Terri was the last person to see him. (June 7 pc and June 18 pc, respectively)
If Kyron was last seen at 9:00 and LE believed Terri that she last saw him at 8:45, they would not say that she was the last person to see him because whoever it is that saw him at 9:00 would be the last person to see him.
But Terri was very exact about the other times in the email -- 9:12, 11:20, 12:20, 12:45, so why would she just guestimate the most important time of all? "I left at 9."

Finally, I'm getting around to answering your question...
By saying.. I even suspect the story of TH's friend about the second FM..
I just mean that, I want to see proof of both FM 1 and FM 2.
I question everything in this case and we do know that several of Terri's friends
bought her bat phones. Why should we suspect Dede of being involved and
not Andrea? Maybe not, but who knows what other friends helped her out in
some way?
Steadfast, Staton said 9:00 was by a student. Not Terri. You can't change what the man said.
I have some doubts that "the receipt" of 0912 is for Starbucks. The reason I don't is because the Starbucks manager they interviewed about her employees testifying at the GJ, and her not recalling seeing TH that day, was standing in front of her workplace, a freestanding Starbucks, not one inside of a Fred Meyers. I suspect those 2 employees of hers are testifying because either TH says she did stop there, or the employees do recall seeing her that day.
Although I freely admit I have been known to visit Starbux more than once a day, but rarely.
I may not be able to change what the man said, but LE apparently changed their mind about a student last seeing him, because they announced that Terri was the last person to see him at a subsequent press conference. Remember, they still had a lot of questioning and canvassing to do after the June 7 presser. But they never did publicly change the time that he was last seen. Either 9:00 was corroborated or there was new information about the time that they have not told us.
If I was emailing a friend and telling them what time I left the school, I'd probably just round it off. I wouldn't say "I left the school at 8:52", I would just say 9.
This is when her crazy driving record sheds some light on the confusion - she jumped in the truck, didn't take the time to put on her seat belt, drove 90 mph, did not slow down for stop signs... and that's how she got there so quickly.
eta: oh, and violated Oregon's famously vague and mysterious 'basic rule' of driving...
And when they changed to Terri as last person to see Kyron, they gave no time. I can't take the time from another person and just assign it to Terri based on nothing. For all I know the time LE has determined for her last seen time is 9:30. Or 9:45. I want to know LE's time for Terri, and I want to know what happened to that student and his/her time.
I agree. Not taking attendance before the children separated into small groups and started wandering around was idiotic. What do they think attendance is for if not to keep close track of what children have arrived at school?Re: The "times" that are being discussed.
If Terri left when the bell rang, and Kyron was "on his way" to his classroom, why was attendance not taken until 10:00? Presumably, students were expected to report to their classrooms for placement in their small groups to tour the Science Fair. Why, then was attendance not taken while students were assembled prior to leaving the classroom for the tour? If students were not required to report to their classrooms because some were going to tour the SF with parents/family, teachers were faced with a confusing situation that is almost beyond belief, imo.
