The woman is, IMO, a psychological terrorist. There is an aspect of this story that reminds me of the Susan Powell story.The family dynamics where the males rule the roost and the females are expendable.

This horrible, ZT, seems to have no thoughts of how her comments might affect her other two children/daughters. It is as if they don't even exist.

Perhaps, they did well to escape some of the madness. However, I suspect that at least one of the daughters might have felt obliged to host her brothers if they had made it to the NYC area. We have not heard anything directly from one of the two and the one that did speak, through a cracked door, said very little.

IMO, all this jazz a ra azz about eliciting the public’s help in identification is just that ---a bunch of jazz a ram jazz. They are assuming the world would find it credible that a family system has been watched for years by Russia, the CIA, FBI and CIA and they are clueless about these folks looks, (if clean shaven vs not presents an ideitificatio issue we are big trouble) where they can be located and their names defies logic of the smallest order!

Moreover it is not like this family moved all the time. They placed down roots for long durations in both Russia and here. Furthermore they have been on a watch list according to authorities.

If all that has been reported is true (not) they are saying we do not know physical looks, names, locations of folks on our terror watch list - then that list seems pretty useless!

I don’t know about you all, but that, in its own convoluted way ought to result in most of us not sleeping well!

They had known the landlord, who I believe lived on the first floor, for over ten years. He may have asked her to look after the child. Also, while TT may have had few friends, DT did still have friends in the area, so the child may have had friends. (I'm talking about Thursday night here.)

As far as Monday, the day of the bombing, it was a state holiday and the wife may have had the day off. We had various home care aides for a relative over the years from anywere from 3 hours a day to overnight) and I remember that the agency charged double time for holidays (this was not MA, though.)

He may have asked her to look after the child.

Would this scenario be after the video was released ? IMO, if it was not he could not go to his landlord -hey I am the most wanted person on the planet , watch my kid please!

It boggles my mind, to read that... why on earth did they stay here? "I want out" - well, he chose to become a citizen of a free country, and he was welcome and able to leave at any time. He could easily have gone to live with his parents. Why would he phrase it as if he were somehow being kept in the US against his will?

TT: "I don't have American friends. I don't understand them." Again a grown man, I don't buy that his Daddy 'forced' him to live here against his will (when the dad himself had moved back to his homeland).

Clearly DT and TT wanted to live in the US, and also wanted to pretend that they were somehow victims being forced to live here against their will. They created an entire melodramatic narrative in which they yearned for their homeland, but were cruelly denied it. All the while applying for free money and citizenship?

How could TT leave when he is married and has a small child.....? I hardly think that his wife would move to some mysterious foreign land where she does not even speak the language and leave all her family behind.

Put it this way. I have a cousin from Europe who moved to the us, fell in love with an American, married and had a child with him. They are now in the process of a divorce. When I asked if she would move back to her home country to be with her family And escape the emotional and mental abuse of her ex, she basically can't.....she can't deny her child her right to see and know her father and legally she would have a very difficult time.

Also....I moved to Australia several years ago. Was not my idea.....and I'm not all that happy here. I wish I could move back home. But I have a long term boyfriend here and I know that he would not want to move. So. It's not as easy and clear cut a situation as it seems.

I have a question re this: is DT not allowed visitors? I thought scheduled and monitored visits are allowed in prison? Or is this only after the trial?

From what I read I got the impression that up the point when TT was denied entering this major boxing competition (forget the name of it) because immigrants were excluded he was more or less normal, having hobbies, working, making music etc. Boxing was his major thing, he wanted to go pro, and when that was denied he started to fall apart. I can't remember the year though when this happened. (sorry, no time right now to look through articles)

I have not read much recently about any of this, was just voicing my opinion, thanks for clarifying

I suppose what kept him in America was his dad then. It seems he was keen on making sure both TT and DT were getting an education, and it was reported he was really upset when TT dropped out. On top of that, if TT returned, then DT would be without really any family there so they probably liked for them to stick together.
