I've not followed this case closely, but what do you mean about 'he who fell asleep'? And why would any of his posts sit uncomfortably with you?
From what I'm reading he respected David greatly.
No matter, his life is in danger now and needs urgent help.

"he who fell asleep" refers to a comment on David's fb wall after the bodies were found. They had intended to meet up that night but SMc fell asleep and didn't make it out.
His fb page is public, I am just reading all the comments from his friends and family, they're all in panic mode....

Not sure what you mean, still. There were two dead people on that beach. That is fact.
Somebody, in the depths of this thread asked about the guy who fell asleep. Kudos to them. I think he is very, very important now and not entirely surprising he's gone missing, yet can tell FB about it and take pics of two Thai guys in the process of his 'about to be killed' FB posts.

I'm not disputing the facts of the case. I was asking whether all of the drama on this Seans FB was for real. Posting pictures of "the killer", being hunted by the mafia.....

TMI may be due to shock.
For what it is worth, from the sequence of his FB posts, he was chased into a shop (his sister confirmed this and the name of the shop) and in fear of his life.
"Thai mafia are trying to kill me. Please help me. Sky news phone me.", because he didn't trust the local police due to the mafia having them all bought off. Within the same minute he further posted "Owner of ac bar did it".
2 minutes later he posted the pic and I am going to assume that it is current and that they are looking into the shop where he was hiding. Within the same minute of the pic being posted he posts again, "Guy on the left is the leader".
He is now allegedly safe after 3 police took him away and is in hiding until getting off the island later in the day. British Embassy are aware of case, so shuoldn't be any shenannigans from the local police.

Thanks for clarifying Jellybeanz - I wondered what was going in. Seems like a very risky thing to do, posting the pic but I guess it was kind of an insurance... I wasn't sure at the time whether it was a hoax or not, hence my original question

May well be immaturity and trying to attach himself too close to the drama. I only saw his sister say it was in the hands of the embassy and not to go on FB/social media.
