“It can be very worrying when you’re sitting there and the only information you are getting is from certain news channels, but then if you are out and about or you are on the right platforms, you can really sense this human spirit coming to the forefront."

This comment appears to be referring to the volunteering efforts of the veteran community and fears of isolation rather than on the dangers of the coronavirus pandemic.

However, Professor Sikora branded these remarks, broadcasted after 888 more people died of coronavirus yesterday, "outrageous".

I'm shocked that even the Express point out themselves that despite their own headline, Harry's words would appear to have been taken out of context by the Professor who criticised them.

I think either just before or around the time of the lockdown in the UK, there was some talk in the official government daily briefings for the public, that instead of people being selfish and insular that there was a strong possibility that there'd instead be a lot of altruism. It sounds like that's what Harry is referring to, that there are so many people helping out, not expecting payment for helping and just doing it to help people who need it.

Just like Harry put down Boris. Legit royals keep politics out of their role. They both need to get communication coaches. MOO

I didn't know he did that?

Getting a green card will be hard for him. A lot of rules unless she sponsors him. We have several visas too but he wont qualify for the diplomatic visa that has less rules. He is going to get taxed a lot if he chooses not to become an American and polls are not looking good for that route. MOO

I think it helps a lot if someone has a lot of money, so I can't see major difficulties in lawyers working out which visa to apply for to enable him to do some appearances at conferences or things like that.

What do you mean about polls and American citizenship?

Sky News has some more quotes from the Declassified Podcast interview with Harry

The Duke of Sussex has thanked NHS workers and volunteers in the battle against coronavirus and said he is "incredibly proud" of the British public's response.

He said: "It just makes me incredibly proud to see the Brits stepping up like this, but I really, really hope that this keeps going after coronavirus and after this whole pandemic has come to a close."

Coronavirus: Harry says he is proud of the 'wonderfully British' response to COVID-19

Princess Anne's Repeat Outfits - Princess Anne Rewearing Clothes

The epitome of frugal housekeeping, HRH Anne, The Princess Royal!

I understand that people are paid to maintain her wardrobe, but WOW how does she wear those skirts for so many years???

I certainly don't have the same waistline this year. Okay, perhaps I do, with evidence of childbearing & aging & eating wrapped around those 23".

Thanks.

"MARKLE: It's really the moment that I go, we film suits in Toronto and I might just stay in Canada. I mean come on, if that's reality we are talking about, come on, that is a game changer in terms of how we move in the world here. "

Saying she might just stay in Canada isn't exactly the 'I'll never live in the US while Trump is president', that some people and the press have suggested.

The point is the same: Staying out of the U.S. because......Trump.

You often get comments like that from people when a government changes... People have the right to say it (she wasn't 'Royal' then), we have the right to disagree, and they have the right to change their mind later if they want to.

I appreciate that Saralou found the actual quote. I prefer to see actual quotes and context. Now that I have seen it, I shall file it under "things I don't really care about".

People keep saying Meghan “signed on” for something but I never saw the lifetime employment agreement she actually signed. Could someone please post that for me? When I got married all I agreed to was to love my husband for life. When I watched Prince Harry’s wedding that’s all they seemed to agree to also.

But I missed this slavery contract everyone else seems to have seen where they agreed to stay in the UK and shake hands for life. So please post a link, thanks!

When people sign an employee agreement they don't normally share it with anyone. Most employers don't even allow you to tell your co-workers what your salary is and the details of your contract.
Any financial agreement, contract, or duties wouldn't be included in wedding vows in the Anglican church.

Kate Middleton is Babyface and Meghan Markle is Teddy Riley.

Harry and Meghan cut all ties with four British tabloids over their reporting and 'lies'

"The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who are now living in Los Angeles, have sent a letter to the editors of The Sun, The Mail, The Mirror and the Express to make clear that they will no longer engage with them.

“There will be no corroboration and zero engagement”, they say in their letter.

The new policy from the couple will start with immediate effect and comes as Meghan’s legal fight with the Mail on Sunday’s owner’s Associated Press enters a new phase in the British courts this week."

Anyone else find it a bit odd that they sent a letter? They had said they were only collaborating with those they chose when they said no more royal rota back in January.
Like why not just tell them this is the new policy when they try and engage or inquire? I don't understand why it has to be another letter/statement released to all the media

It says in the article that they'll still be cooperating with the Telegraph, Times, Guardian and Financial Times but Rupert Murdoch owns the Times and the Sun so surely the Times will just start doing the Suns dirty work? Or maybe they're more separate than that

Anyone else think it was sent tonight and released to other media so it would make the Monday morning papers?

Interesting as well, I've started following the ITV royal reporter on twitter (blame quarantine) and someone was giving out to him for reporting on Harry being on the military podcast yesterday essentially saying that the UK media should leave him alone as he doesn't want to live there anymore they should stop reporting on him and he replied that they had been asked to report the story by Harry's team.

I cant answer why they sent a letter, but the Times is one end of the newspaper scale (broadsheet) and the Sun is in the pit at the bottom with the Daily Mail. The Times def would not do the Sun's dirty work, imo, in terms of juicy gossip type stories which often turn out to be fake.

The present event is clear . It's a playbook move to diffuse a situation that is more favorable for a party. The current case will not lean towards M. She should never have written a letter to her Dad and that was a huge mistake. JMO, but the drama exit was planned and the high anxiety, unrealistic ideas , etc etc were all part of a reality nightmare for her. She needs to admit to her part and move on... MOO

Odd isn't it, since they have said the same thing since they announced they were suing the Mail. Not that this will alter the way they are reported on. Do they really think this will change anything?

The suits in the UK predicted that H and M's American team was not prepared and never will be to protect them from PR blunders. MOO
