Wherever it was referenced, I think it was the DM, that Meghan wanted to show Harry what “philanthropy looked like in LA” is just really a Meghan self promo. And a promo for Marianne Williamson’s (former presidential candidate) Angel Food Network. Ok, so mix in some politics to go with that worthy cause.
It’s not philanthropy. It’s charity. And the whole world is engaged in phenomenal acts of charity, community, neighborhood, city, acts of kindness during this pandemic crisis.
Perhaps the ‘we are Royals in America doing great acts of charity’ is all coordinated for the PR to go with Meghan’s Elephant promo ABC interview coming up, I don’t know. I was really on board with the stepping out for a day of charity, but like all of their PR it devolves into some proverbial spotlight of “wth were they thinking”. I can’t watch anymore, but know I can come here to this thread for the breakdown, of the breakdown!
Of course their whereabouts would be leaked to the paps. That’s something any LA celeb can bank on if they wish. Harry looks mad like he’s been duped, and from the pics in the DM he’s not participating in Meghan’s cling on hand holding either.
Harry looks like a fish out of water. He knows every nook and cranny of his home country, he was so well established in the role of royal duty, all their acts of charity which is a whole lot more than handshakes and self promo, and his country is hit hard by this pandemic.
I think if I were in England right now I’d really be missing New Jersey.
