No criticism of Kate being whiny and too “me”focused when talking about being a mother?
It’s hard to relate to Meghan when she’s talking about “existing not living” and when she says ‘not many people have asked how she is.’ Is that why Archie made his debut in Africa and not England?
Kate’s words are actually reflective - loneliness, isolation, and confidence are all things that any mother can relate to. And she adds the codicil of acknowledging she’s got help and a support system. She, in no way came off as whiny or “ me focused”. Her words were very thoughtful of others. Imo.
This isn’t really a contest. People either relate or they don’t. I think both Harry and Meghan are victims of their own poor choices. Plus, modernizing the monarchy their way is not going over very well from everything I’m reading.
Mental health is a tricky thing to communicate about especially when on a Royal trip focusing on several countries. In looking at the clip of the documentary, sorry, I cringed. It takes the focus off of the purpose of the trip. The whole support Meghan hashtags started in the USA takes the focus completely off the purpose of the trip.
The advert that the four royals did using their voices to promote mental health awareness was very effective and focused. And gives this very important cause its own voice separate from how many likes or cray comments one gets on social media which is very drama inducing.
I imagine QE is way beyond ‘not amused’.
