Meghan, who is around six months pregnant, wore head-to-toe peach, teaming a £1,728 Brandon Maxwell mini dress with a matching £2,004 blazer, £ 440 Aquazzura pumps and a Carolina Herrera clutch.

It’s as if it’s a fake baby bump and she is holding it in place.
She’s holding onto her little clutch.

I absolutely LOVE this outfit!!!!! This is classy maternity. And the color is simply stunning on her.

(Not a huge fan of the shoes but that doesn’t even matter)

Clutch in right hand. Left hand "holding" bump. I love the "ballet pink" outfit, too. The Queen wears a nail polish called "Ballet Slippers" that would look awesome with the dress.

At Christmas, Meghan told reporters that she was "nearly there" which I thought meant she was entering her last trimester. A month later, above article indicates that Meghan is around 6-months pregnant. Why the games with the due date?

It's quite an honor and huge responsibility to take over for HRH as the patron of the National Theater. It's something I hope in years to come Meghan will pour her creativity into, perhaps blending her ideals of social justice and female empowerment.

Her (it doesn't really read "peach" to me) outfit is a nice idea, but poorly executed, like many of her ensembles, IMO. But she's getting better. I love the blazer. And her earrings. She made some effort with her hair and the long sideswept fringe is pretty (I'm going through fringe issues lately lol), but she just has unruly hair and I'm not going to ding her for that. I'd give this whole look a B-. For me, as always, it's the tailoring that makes or breaks an outfit like this. She clearly has no one helping her in person, or if she does, that person just doesn't give a sh*t.

Lady Sarah Chatto admires the stunning Christian Dior gown her mother Princess Margaret wore on her 21st birthday - as she visits the UK's largest ever exhibition dedicated to the iconic designer

Christian Dior was an amazing designer.

Lady Sarah Chatto looks a lot like her Mum Princess Margaret.
I love Dior too. Oooh I hope this exhibit comes closer to me than the UK.

They just don’t make dresses like they used to. That is a work of art!

Where did the hue of blue go from the original dress to how it appears now?

The original color was so beautiful but it has disappeared/faded?

Or is that even a different dress because the original silver highlights are now golden?

Possibly just the lighting. Light temperature & white balance can drastically alter the way a white dress looks in pictures.

The Dior is gorge. My only wish is that it did not have that belt and with a buckle no less. It doesn't need anything at the waist. The dress speaks for itself. A sash perhaps if something has to be at the waistline. IMO

Article posted by Gardenista calls the outfit "blush" - a much better color description.

Maybe Meghan can hire a stylist on Stitch-Fix :D

I hope it does and you get to see it

In my opinion the only modern designer that could design works of art like Christian Dior was Oscar De La Renta before he sadly died.

It will be interesting to see how the Duchess of Sussex’s style evolves or if it does. I didn’t like the colour of today’s outfit.

I don't hold out much hope for Meghan's wardrobe choices :( I like the blush outfit but not the monochromatic look overall. I'd suggest black shoes and purse.

I love blush pink and think it's pretty much universally flattering on most who wear it.
Meghan looked nice, IMO. Not stand out pretty, but nice, which is much better than at some times in her months as a Duchess. :)

First image I had was of Kate in those danged platform beige pumps she wore for years and years. L.K. Bennett, I believe the brand is. I hope they're gone for good.

Read that Meghan's wearing her " engagement shoes" with the blush dress and jacket, which I believe were a taupe suede. I paid more attention to the extremely poor fit than the shoes, though. :)
I wear taupe or light beige colored boots or shoes with blush.

Meghan might find it helpful to invest in some non-endangered lizard pumps and/ or boots in medium to dark tan or go with the safe classic of dark brown or black. They have a bit of a color shift to them, so don't look flat like alligator or most leather will. She seems to be a fan of shimmer, which well- cared for lizard will have and retain, and Ferragamo, the house that originated the stiletto pump, uses it quite often.

I think monochromatic if not a drab color ( olive green comes to mind) or obnoxious ( anything neon, especially orange) is a classic look for the Royal ladies for photo ops.
