May the Duke of Luxembourg Rest In Peace.
Count me in! I wholeheartedly agree with you.I completely agree and know this, and I’m trying, so thank you
Been reading this site forever it seems and we read about so much misery and tragedy here, one thread of light brevity of some good in the world, regardless of whom the characters are, you know?
“Can’t wait to see her stop hugging her pillow” is so harsh to me when we read so much about parents whom abuse their kids that knocking a mother for hugging her baby in the womb? Goodness me. Come on guys! Let’s see the good in the world! We can all do it!
A baby is coming! A baby we know will be loved and well taken care for.
I know it’s a me thing
I’ll move on...
Sooo, I wonder if Harry has any hair left??![]()
For those of you who have been overdue, what did you do with those extra weeks? Were you anxious or relaxed like Meghan? Thankfully you didn't have media trying to guess and capture your every move.
Hoping for a safe delivery and arrival for the baby!
Best advice when overdue, visit a friend with a newborn, well worked for me!
Church of England is not relaxed, you need to have been baptized to be a godparent. I also find it strange that they mention alternatives for people who can't find 3 people to be godparents. How is it that a person can't find at least 3 people to be godparents?
And frankly *3 is too much, it's not the 1800s, people aren't dying of plagues, so there really isn't a need for 3 people to be able to teach you about life and faith and take care of you if your parents die.
For those who are asking, No. A Jewish person cannot be a godparent. You need to be a baptized Christian.
I also like that the Church allows parents to be the godparents to their own children. Makes sense.
Yes - Absolutely this ^Point is, she doesn't have to try so hard, that's why she keeps failing. She can just be herself and the world will be alright.
Well to avoid any risk of rising 'waiting-niggles' type of posts from this drought of baby news
I think it's time for another of @BetteDavisEyes fun Brit-quizzes??
I knew we could rely on you @BetteDavisEyesI was actually searching for a horse-related quiz on Kentucky Derby DayDidn't find one, but here's a fun British word quiz: Do You Know the British Words For All of These Common Items?
If Baby Sussex hasn't arrived by tomorrow, I'll post a Mexican food quiz for Cinco de Mayo.
I'm not sure I understand how having had a Christian baptism the only requirement needed is not 'relaxed'?
(maybe the wrong wording? I meant in comparison with the Catholic churchs “letter of the law” rules)
I wasn't even asked when I was godparent & other friends haven't been either so it's not like they're exactly strict about this anyway
*Catholic baptisms also have 3 Godparents.
CelebritiesSpeaking of the 145th Run For the Roses, has anyone from BRF ever attended the Kentucky Derby?
