O.K. (I hate the 'hyperactive' DM site:mad:)

I don't see ££'s for the extra security but to be fair a lot of it's also due to the separate multi-Brit protests <I can't keep up with who's protesting what? ;)> on-going at the moment.

While this what the 'protesters' feel important enough to waste that sort of money on - this I personally find more disturbing
"However, organisers for the Together Against Trump protest are expected to raise the £30,000 needed to fly the Trump baby blimp over London once again."

But I guess this is probably a good point in far as organising security - isolating them?? :p
(*I've no idea about any costs involved thou)

"For security reasons, the Trump entourage is understood to have reserved all of the rooms across one of the hotel’s floors...

but it features its own private internal lift, meaning they would not have to mingle with members of the public and other guests"

 I got distracted again so still clueless of the expense...

However I thought this little trivia-tit-bit was interesting

"Originally built as the Metropole hotel, the building was leased by the Government as offices in 1936 and used by M19 – British military intelligence – during the Second World War. Located close to the Ministry of Defence, it housed defence intelligence staff until 1992."

Sarah Ferguson and Prince Andrew spark reconciliation rumours
Speculation surrounding the former couple's relationship has always been apparent, but it seems the Yorks may have just amped-up speculation after a recent public appearance together.
On Saturday Fergie, Beatrice and Eugenie stepped out in London to support the Duke of York at the Colonel's Review at the Horse Guards Parade.

Later on, Fergie took to her Instagram page, posting a photo with Andrew and their two daughters, expressing how "proud" she was of her ex-husband.
However back in April, a spokesperson for Fergie denied any rumours the couple had reconciled after the rumour mill started churning.

"The Duke and Duchess of York continue to be good friends and nothing has changed in their relationship," the spokesperson said.

;) I think they "reconciled" long ago...

Sarah Ferguson and Prince Andrew's incredibly unique relationship - a closer look

"Sarah seems to remain on good terms with the royal family. **Despite reports of a difficult relationship with her former father-in-law, Prince Philip,** she has maintained a close connection with the Queen, who frequently invites her to join Andrew in the Royal Enclosure at Ascot.

She has also acted as a representative of the royal family in recent years, standing in for Prince Andrew with the approval of the palace, and has been welcomed as a guest at Balmoral, the Queen's Scottish estate, on a number of occasions...

Sarah and Andrew – who she described as "my handsome prince, he'll always be my handsome prince" in a 2013 interview - purchased a chalet together in the Swiss ski resort of Verbier, some 20 years after their divorce."

Is that just Media Hype??o_O

Prince Philip took ‘BIG STEP’ to reconcile with Fergie - Royal Wedding body language SHOWS

"Prince Philip showed a warm welcome to his former daughter-in-law, approaching her with a smile at Princess Eugenie’s wedding to Jack Brooksbank....

Despite the tension believed to exist, there appeared to be very few hard feelings between them..."She got quite the look from Philip."

"He smiled at her at least twice, almost as if he had planned to greet her warmly."

"That was quite a big step for the Duke of Edinburgh.”

Agreed, sad story about Charles time at Gordonstoun
Has anyone heard or read about Prince Andrew and/or Prince Edward experiences attending Gordonstoun?

The Crown showed that HRH Elizabeth, and Lord Mountbatten, wanted HRH Charles to attend a school in London.

And that's what HRH William & HRH Harry did.

Helpful Prince George charms Waitrose delivery drivers by carrying the family's shopping into William and Kate's Norfolk home

“One may feel the job of bringing in the shopping is below that of a future king.

But Prince George was comfortable taking over from Waitrose delivery drivers as they dropped off the goods at his home in Norfolk.

The five-year-old royal surprised workers when he walked up to the van with father William, 36, before helping unpack the items.”
