Can someone explain to me the purpose of a country having a Royal Family? It's never made any since to me.

Irritates me no end when pointing out hypocrisy is deemed as bullying. Harry is in no way vulnerable, hes a rich Prince. Bullying should be reserved for actual bullying.
If we are "bullying" Harry by calling him out about taking private planes then surely he is "bullying" us when he talks about reducing our carbon foot print. If the Cambridges were talking about mental health one week and then cyber bullying someone the next it would be perfectly normal to criticize them for it to me its the same with Harry and the environment.

The thing is we do need people to talk about the environment and we need people of influence to lead the way but when people who make themselves out to be an expert can't even be bothered to make small lifestyle choices its a problem. The fact that this even having any kind of minor economic impact on Harry is annoying to me like if Elton is paying for the private jet why couldn't Harry put his money where his mouth is and pay for the carbon offsets, it won't do much but it would be something at least.

I read this article the other day about how rich people can afford to have "luxury beliefs" that will earn them social cache without ever having an impact on them. I don't think climate change is a luxury belief but I doubt Harry will ever be at the supermarket trying to decide if he should buy the cheapest bananas or slightly more expensive ones that don't come wrapped in plastic or the super expensive organic ones and scrimp elsewhere.

Or how about the ethics of eating strawberries, raspberries, and blueberries from Chile during mid-winter?

They all had to be package and flown to the UK and US/Canada. There is considerable more spoilage when they are transported and distributed long distances.

Is this the proper thing to do for this planet?

Should restauraunts, and chefs, and on-line influencers be promoting eating fruits out of season that have to be transported by fossil fuel consuming, carbon dioxide producing flights?

I would love to know exactly what he told the Google Eco-Ultra Wealthy Festival about selfie-taking tourists ruining the planet.

IF he said that, it was an extremely stupid statement given who he is and his travels. And I'll bet many at the Google-Fest make a lot of money off of selfie-taking tourists.

And it just reeks of his royal privilege.

This isn't bullying. This is confronting the guy who made a splash about taking an electric vehicle to his wedding reception, yet flies fossil fuel consuming planes at the drop of a hat.

Yeah. It's time to call out the Luxury Privilege in the eco-war.

Food miles are a huge problem and to me that is something tangible that Harry could have an influence over, its promoting British farming etc. Rather than scold people for going on a foreign holiday once a year why not educate young people about seasonal eating or something.

At least theres a human health benefit to eating fruit, its cut flowers transported huge distances that drive me most up the wall.

Oh I LOVE the mental image of the Queen gazing at those beautiful Higland ponies in the morning from her windows. It’s evident they bring her much joy.

That’s for the correction of my hairy feet description. I knew the massive Clydesdales had them but I had no idea they were a characteristic of the British heavy horse. I love them all with their feathers

They might as well get on with it then..... Evidenly Beatrice & Eduardo were just at Balmoral with Andrew & Ferguson. Thought to be for the Queen to meet him even though Beatrice does not need The Queen’s permission to wed ( unlike her father). However, the events with her father ( and mother, to a lesser degree) are just going to dominate any developments with her wedding. The wry comments about Andrew giving her away in cuffs have already started.

Yeah the pattern's the same but that's the main reason for why the various colour ranges, due to whatever 'dye' would become available over time.
