It’s such a shame, really...

Ivanka was such a pretty girl... really pretty girl.

Somewhere she didn’t feel good enough.

We see transformations all the time on the news and social media.

When the beautiful augment their looks I wonder, why...

It’s not like it’s spiritual...

It’s not so much all the plastic, but the flat iron, high beam blonde that I don’t think is working for Ivanka...

She used to be soft. Now, she’s plastic edgy Barbie...

Sometimes I don’t know why Ivanka gets talked into it?

But she does...
I have a theory about the short haircut, but it's political and would likely get me bounced. I'll just say the haircut is nice on her and she looked gorgeous in that peach ensemble. Sort of Grace Kelly-ish. Or maybe I just love that light blue evening dress Grace Kelly was wearing in To Catch a Thief.

THE QUEEN "likes" Meghan Markle, says a royal author who has lunched with Her Majesty.

According to David Starkey, the monarch is a fan of the Duchess of Sussex - but warns she brought "too much Hollywood entitlement" with her when she married Prince Harry.

The Queen likes Meghan Markle but she brought ‘too much Hollywood entitlement with her’ when she married Prince Harry, says author who lunched with Her Majesty

Her Majesty must be scunnered with people leaking stuff from private conversations she has had between ex-Prime Minister David Cameron and now Mr Starkey. There has been more leaks this week than a boat has.

The above is my favourite photo of Her Majesty and The Duchess of Sussex.

“While many praised the new mum for her elegant and classy outfit, one stylist has slammed her for breaking tradition and opting to wear black on a happy occasion.

Speaking to MailOnline, stylist Lucas Armitage branded her outfit choice as “shocking”.

He explained: “Wedding guests usually shun black in favor of a more complimentary colour to pair with white…”

Lucas added: “Meghan isn’t one for playing by etiquette as we well know but even for her this is fairly shocking.”

Meghan Markle unfairly criticised for choice of dress at Misha Nonoo's wedding

I don’t like this dress at all it looks like a 1970s nightie and it is not worth £9,000 either.

To think she wore it for just the wedding, they left before the after party.

....

Arrivederci! Meghan Markle drapes a camel coat over her shoulders as she and Prince Harry leave Rome, skipping Misha Nonoo's glamorous post-wedding party tonight to head home and collect baby Archie before jetting off on tour of Africa

I love Ivanka's short bob :) I read that she opted to go with a shorter style about a month ago. I haven't seen photos/video of Ivanka for a while and hadn't known about it. She looked gorgeous when she stepped out of that vehicle!

She truly is a beautiful classy lady.

Homophobia, misogyny still problematic in world of dance, performers say

Male dancers say they face bullying offstage — and heteronormativity onstage. The trending hashtag #BoysDanceToo recently drew attention to the issue.

Last month, "Good Morning America" ran what was supposed to be a cute culture story about the first-grade curriculum of Britain's Prince George.

But when correspondent Lara Spencer mentioned that the 6-year-old boy was studying ballet, she couldn’t suppress her laughter. As Spencer said, “We’ll see how long that lasts,” co-host George Stephanopolous and most of the studio audience also laughed.

Being laughed at for pursuing dance is familiar to almost any boy who studies the art form, especially ballet...

The dress will be perfect for her Halloween costume. All it needs is a pointy hat

I’m sorry but try as I might, I don’t like her. I feel she’s an opportunist imo

You’re certainly entitled to your feelings. And who knows? You may be right. But at this point I don’t see any clear evidence of her being an opportunist. It seems that anything positive or neutral she does is portrayed by some in a negative light. Her father and half sister, Piers Morgan and others have made sure of this.

If Harry and Meghan’s marriage explodes and it becomes clear that she was in it for what she could get, I will eat crow. But unless that happens, I will give her the benefit of the doubt. Do I think Meghan is as personally “likable” and down-to-earth or as classy as Kate? Not at all. But she is the one Harry chose to marry and they appear to be very happy. And I’m happy for both of them.

I think those who think a black evening dress is "shocking" really need to get a grip and look at all the really shocking things going on in this world.

Plus ALL THE MEN are wearing black and probably several other women at a swanky evening do. Shock frickin' horror.

I'm getting bored of the Meghan bashing, I really am. The press did this to Diana and she ended up dead in a tunnel running from them. Is this what we want?

The press are only interested in selling papers and generating clicks they couldn’t care less about anyone. All they care about is advertising revenue. The Daily Mail online for example knows that by making deliberate statements in headlines people will react to it. If they say “Harry and Meghan stay in £32,000 a week Ibiza Villa” they know people will react to it especially if the headline involves tax payer money.

It isn’t just the Duchess of Sussex the press go after Princess Beatrice gets attacked for all her holidays and her outfits. Prince Andrew is on the front pages here nearly every day now with horrendous headlines but that isn’t a surprise and I don’t have much sympathy for his situation.

Only Her Majesty, The Duchess of Cambridge and the Countess of Wessex seem to get an easier time press wise now but it was pretty bad for the Duchess and her family in the early days.

There are a lot of articles bashing the Duchess of Sussex and the Duke of Sussex that I do not post here especially ones involving her relatives. I do not dislike the Duchess I think the couple have made some PR blunders but hopefully things will get better. It would be nice to get some photos of the couple with Archie whilst the family are in Africa.

This isn’t just in response to you Mickey, but a general observation....
I understand what your saying about hypocrisy, but I don’t think we have to take what they say about the “carbon footprint” personally like a critical lecture and feel offended if they occasionally don’t live up to their own standards. Who of us does? But at least they are raising awareness and trying to find solutions.

I’m not a fan of that dress or much else that Jessica Mulroney recommends for her. But there were plenty of other black dresses at the wedding that weren’t wonderful either. And I doubt she paid full price. And for all we know they contribute other money quietly to African villages or perhaps sell the dress and contribute the money. It might be nice to assume the best...but no one does.

Harry and Meghan are high profile and I do think the work they do has value because of the attention they are able to bring to it. A lot of well-known and wealthy people have causes they expend time and money on and lend their names to, even within the Royal Family, but also people such as Bill and Melinda Gates and other philanthropists. They aren’t scrutinized for “hypocrisy” the way Harry and Meghan are. Harry hasn’t been criticized for his projects until he married Meghan. So Meghan seems to be the problem for people. They’ve decided they dislike her for whatever reason and she can do nothing right. Wouldn’t it be better to stand back and give her a chance instead of just going with a knee jerk negative reaction?

I’ve never been a fan of her wardrobe. But I admire her for seeing a need and doing something without a lot of fanfare. For example, the cookbook that she got published to benefit the Grenfell fire survivors kitchen that serves meals. She wasn’t tooting her horn during the process. No one even knew she was in the kitchen cooking under their direction. Then she used her fame to sell it. And it’s a wonderful cookbook.

Not all her projects are going to great, but she’s a human being with causes she cares about. She’s working hard. If some flop, that’s life. But for her to be constantly torn down is just plain mean IMO.

Beautiful response. Exactly.

There was a program on Minnesota public radio a few years ago about how difficult it is to be super rich. Some 30 year old people were talking, I think.

They carry a great burden, if they care. Friendships are difficult.Their role and duty in life.

Harry has said that he wishes he were not born into his circumstances.

I am thankful everyday that I was not born rich or won the lottery. So many well to do families see their children descend into drugs. Or rich family members fleeced or murdered

Yes, I’ve always been grateful to have been born into an anonymous family.

Exactly. As individuals we can ask ourselves if we are letting our thinking be manipulated by the press. Propaganda can be a very dangerous thing. So it might be a good idea to resist being influenced in even small, seemingly benign ways, and do our own thinking.

Wouldn’t that be lovely! Hoping!!

Charles to watch parachutists in Netherlands mark Second World War operation

Charles, the Colonel-in-Chief of the Parachute Regiment will meet veterans of one of the Second World War’s most significant and ill-fated operations.
dims
In September 1944, more than 35,000 British, American and Polish airborne troops dropped behind enemy lines to capture key bridges over the River Rhine and open up an attack route into Germany.

The subsequent fighting, immortalised in the 1977 film A Bridge Too Far, saw more than 1,500 soldiers killed, nearly 6,500 captured and five Victoria Crosses awarded.

Three jump waves involving 1,500 parachutists from the UK, the Netherlands, the US, Germany, France, Poland and Belgium will drop on to Ginkel Heath, one of the original drop zones 75 years ago.

The Red Devils Army parachute display team will also be jumping into the Ginkel Heath drop zone to mark the anniversary.

Also due to jump as part of the plans for Saturday is war veteran Sandy Cortmann, 97, from Aberdeen,:D who was given the all-clear to take part in a tandem jump on Friday.

 That dress is awful no matter what the occasion.

I think Harry has probably been Megs worst enemy lately.
She needs help from a PR team with experience, (British) an unbiased opinion & expertise! Quickly ;)
