True, but by the same token 'we' don't know that it didn't have the feature, so why pretend he was remiss by not answering?

mkay, I can explain why he would be remissed in not answering the phone.

He may have ring tones to identify who is calling but he does not, without answering the phone, know why they are calling or what information they could impart about his daughter. The call he doesn't answer could be THE tip he needs.

Maybe it's just me. But when a child is missing, every call is important. Every incoming call is urgent. Why have a phone, if you don't treat that method of communication as a link to finding your child or loved one?

Ok I can see where you're coming from. :)
I just don't attach that importance to one missed/ignored phone call that could have been returned in a few minutes.

The only thing I was thinking was he knew by the ring who it was. The pool hall, drug connection, work etc and didn't need to answer.
I would answer all of them JIK but we don't all do things the same.

mkay, I was running out the door today when I saw your post and only had time to hit "Thanks." But I needed to tell you that what you said about the pool hall, drug connection, et al, cracked me up. Can you imagine a call from the pool hall, "Mr. Cummings, we have a green for four set up for you at 10:00PM this evening. Will that be convenient sir?" :great: Or, "Mr. Cummings, your prescription order is ready, shall we send it over or would you perfer to meet us at your grandmother's house?" :great:

I hope this doesn't offend anyone, I guess I have a strange sense of humor, but the thought of this just made me really laugh.

Thank you mkay :seeya: 4Jacy

I'm thinking that anyone important enough to have their very own ringtone just might could have some information regarding your missing daughter, therefore I think that he should have just answered the damn phone FGS. Just the fact that Ron did not bother himself to answer the phone shows to me that he really didn't need to know any information about Haleigh because he already knew where she was!

To solve the case he'd have to admit he was somehow responsible, and that would spoil his perfect image.

Plus, if Ronald had:woohoo: answered the phone at just that moment his award winning performance would have been ruined.

Yeah, the "gun" is a sore subject for Ronald. I can only image he didn't want any information out about the gun because the gun in question is illegal to own. Like a an old Tommy Machine Gun.

In previous posts I pointed out that Ron's fascination with the Godfather movie series would make an old fashioned machine gun a prize possession for him to own. It would certainly fit the Godfather fantasy. And it is illegal to own one of those and there is a heavy fine for owning one. If that gun exsists, by now it's long gone or hidden very well. And as we know Ronald is far away from own any type of gun for a long, long time.

all just my guess or opinion.

Az, the automatic weapon was reportedly turned over to LE by one of Ronald's relatives who rides in a motorcycle club.

This is the same behavior we saw with Scott Peterson when he turned off his ringing phone without checking it during a television interview. He definitely knew he wasn't going to get a phone call from his wife.

I do think, for me, that Ronald knows what happened to his daughter. Maybe he wasn't involved but he knows. And I find it puzzling that he doesn't want to help solve this case. He can only say the drug boys didn't do it. Haleigh deserves justice. jmo

BBM: This is most likely the only "truth" that Ronald can say.

It's very weird that he didn't answer. It doesn't matter if he knew whose number it was, because it could have been anybody using anybody's phone. Somebody may have been about to tell Ron where he was planning to drop Haleigh, but then changed his mind when Ron didn't answer. Or it could have been about ransom...but then decided if Ron couldn't be bothered to answer the phone, he wouldn't pay up anyway. The possibilities are endless, but I guess we'll never know. Do I think any of this was likely? No. at least not now, but at the time, I was shocked. It seems that Ron knew, long before any of us, that he wasn't getting any calls pertaining to a kidnapping. Shows me he knew/thought the caller would have no info on HaLeigh.

Sweetheart, I never laugh at people. I love people, and I laugh with them, or I just ignore them. I was actually laughing with you; just thinking of the calls RC could have received. I'm truly sorry if I've hurt your feelings luv.

Respectfully,

I don't know exactly what time she went to bed, but it wasn't her vehicle that was wrecked.

Now I'm confused. I thought the vehicle that Hank was injured in was timmy and chelsea's. I heard they just bought it and it was a used vehicle.

Did it belong to somebody else? Also any information on the red truck that tommy had? Was he in possession of it on Feb 9? I ran down info on tommy and he had a large judgement against him. It was about $13,500...sounding like a car loan.
