Nova, You Rock!:blowkiss:
Do you know now?I have no idea what you're talking about, nan...
Do you know now?
What may seem like an enigma really is not...Grasshopper... :blowkiss:Not really. There are hidden agenda in almost everything we see or hear. Why is someone a sap for listening to Moore, who makes his views so perfectly clear?
nan, I was just reading your advice to MissieMt in the Jury Room. It baffles me how you can be so utterly wrong in some threads and yet so brilliant and wise in others. It really is a puzzlement! :blowkiss:
Conversely, Haliburton has lined the pockets of my husband's company. You know, I'd much rather be blind than a fool whose ego gets pumped up by a few uneducated nitwits every now and then.
The prolbem I have with her and her style is 1) documentaries she refers to are movies, not documentaries, made by filmmakers who deeply believe that the three are innocent. 2) she uses film rather that facts of the case to state her cause.
It depends on one's perception.Just to clarify, who exactly is the fool and who are the nitwits?
It depends on one's perception.![]()
That's your opinion and perception. You are entitled to it as I am entitled to mine. This is, after all, still my America as well as yours... The winking smilie is not meant to signify cleverness. It signifies that I am kidding with you. However, far be it from to tell you how to interpret it.My perception is that is insulting either way. By the way, the winking smilie comes across as smug, not clever.
This is the first I've heard of it, but it certainly has piqued my interest.Have any of you read the book, seen the documentary or followed this case in form?
I agree with Natalee gains on this one....those boys were railroaded and locked up for life for murders they did not commit.

I posted this in the other thread, so I'll post it here as well. I hope these three boys get a new trial, at the very least. There sure are a lot of inconsistencies. I'm still not convinced either way, but I AM convinced that they weren't treated fairly.
Also, in my own defense....when I started this thread I clicked on the wrong icon. And don't know how to go back and edit it! :slap: So I can see where some may have misunderstood my post. My one hope is that the DC's are doing this to actually help these boys(men) and not just attach their names to a high profile case as a way of getting attention.:truce:
Thank you original tez.Yes, philamena there are two threads (at least) about this case in the "Trials" section of WS. I would encourage you to read them!!! Here is the link. http://www.websleuths.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?s=&daysprune=-1&f=8
I am glad that more attention is finally being paid to the WM3. At the very least, they deserve a new trial, they were railroaded in the first one, IMO.
I'm glad the Dixie Chicks are doing this.
