I don't recall, but someone will I'm sure. If Mr Gamble says HG was there the first night, though, I'm going with that.
Oh for sure...if Mr.Gamble says that then I'm with you. Maybe he's not giving specifics of the man for investigative reasons....
HG was there the first night. She met him. I do believe that's why she went to SA and it seems he's involved with what happened to Gabriel or he would of come forward. He either has Gabriel, took Gabriel from EJ to give to someone else, was with EJ when she gave Gabriel to a couple or if EJ hurt Gabriel he knows and doesn't want to be part of it.
What if HG is a friend of EJ's or her brothers or someone she knows that just happens to live in SA now. She went to meet the couple in SA to give Gabriel up but she didn't want to be alone so she asked her "friend" to be with her while she did it?
Just thinking aloud. Possible theory on HG.

Oh I'm not discounting at all what you are saying here. But it's what Mr.Gamble is not saying about the "man" she was with the "Moment" she arrived in SA. I'm probably putting way too much thought in this...
The "moment". So you're thinking that means HG rode with EJ the entire way or was picked up along the way because of that comment? I guess that's possible but like Kiss said EJ was seen in the black SUV with HG so he had a car. That's what makes me think he met her there at the hotel or met her along the way and followed her there.

I'm with you. I just think they HAVE to have more info on this guy. The fact Mr. Gamble says "the moment she was in SA" means they have something to prove that. And even though we refer to him as "HG", I use Hispanic loosely. I agree with others who say he may not be. I've been asked if I'm part Hispanic or Mexican even though I'm not (don't understand why) and I met a Mexican boy years ago that had blond hair and blue eyes.
I think she probably was in contact with him before she got to SA, but I'm thinking someone (TS or JM) put her in contact with him. I don't know if I think it was a "friend" just because she commented about her "new life"and he obviously wasn't a part of that (relationship wise). I really think he was the one to put her in contact with the "adoptive" parents.
I just think she had help in driving to SA, and then maybe meeting up with HG. My husband and I took my grandson who at the time was a year old, on a six hour trip last fall, and whoa...he required some attention...feeding, changing, pacifying him until he fell aslept. And I was in the back seat doing this. Having said that, do you believe EJ just took off on a 980 mile trip by herself (13-14 hours if you drive straight through by yourself and don't have to stop) She was already PO'd and desperate to get out of dodge....I just believe she had someone help her drive. Someone she felt comfortable with and could calm her down or ease her emotions...But she could have given GB something to rest the whole time...and did the trip herself... or it wouldn't be uncommon either if she left by herself at GB's nite, nite time...sleeping 10-12 hours at that age would not be that uncommon either...just thinking!!! Dangerous at my age!!!

Maybe the HG is from AZ and EJ knew him there...maybe he was working in SA, could be a roadie for a band playing in SA during that time, could have been someone with business in SA such as a meeting or conference, could be someone transferring jobs from AZ to SA or even FL. Could be the HG is from AZ and has family in SA he was visiting for the holidays.
I don't think he drove with EJ from AZ to SA. I think he was already in SA and she met him there. I don't think this was someone she'd just met, I think she knew him in AZ.
I sure would like to know if the license plate on that SUV was an AZ plate or a Texas plate.

I agree I think he was already there in SA. I don't know if he currently lives in AZ but he may of in the past or like you said he could of been in town during the holidays. Makes sense to me. He could also be from Boston.

BBM, I posted a couple weeks ago that there may be a Boston connection. Maybe someone EJ went to school with. I think a Boston connection is a real possibility because Logan didn't seem to have much to do with her life there. Including the fact that he didn't travel to Boston with her and Gabe in June 2009. It would be right up EJ's alley to feel that she is getting one over on Logan with her "Boston connections". Just a theory of many though.
I certainly agree with you here...but I believe she has connections in Ft.Smith as well....

I saw the KPHO video where Ken said the first night. That got me thinking it was pre-arranged when she was in Tempe, and she met him in SA. But I hadn't seen the article where Ken says the first minute. Anyone have a link?

I havn't seen the "moment" comment either, but I would think what he means by the moment, is the first sighting, and that first sighting probably being that first night, and they were both there together. Surely they don't have a witness that saw them both cross the city limit, lol.
Hi BE..good friday to you...I didn't see the video where Mr.Gamble said first night. Can someone direct me to that?? Where I got the information on the "First Moment, although I said Minute" was from the post you made on the PI page from KPHO....

Kiss...the article and the video version state 2 different things. In the video it doesn't say "First Night"...It says " In the company of another MAN the MOMENT she arrived in SA". I know these are all reporters, as we have heard nothing specific from Mr. Gilbert. So certainly reporters do make mistake, unintentional.

I wonder how long they were there, and if it was long enough for EJ to have made friends. In my mind they were there for a short time, but I don't know the accurate length. I thought I saw a while back that's where they conceived Gabriel...was he born there or in AZ?
