The Hispanic Guy & The Couple

Okay, now let's figure out who this Hispanic guy is.

I'm trying to decide if it's more likely that she knew him before San Antonio, had been in contact with him before San Antonio, or if she didn't connect with him until she got to San Antonio.

I don't think this guy was just a fling she met in SA. I think he's directly connected to helping her find someone to give Gabe to. I think he connected her up with the couple, and that that couple is who she gave Gabe to.

If he was known to her, then my tendency is to think the couple were friends or relatives of his, and that they may be hiding Gabe for Eliz as a way to hurt Logan.

I think she may have used sex with the Hispanic guy as a means to convince him to help her.

Whether the couple has Gabe to hide him or to 'keep' him, my tendency is to think they are no longer in the country, and I tend to lean towards Mexico, or possibly Canada. If they were in the U.S., I think they would have dropped Gabe off somewhere by now, rather than take a chance on getting caught.

I think a whole lot more, but that's enough of my theories for now

The two hotels Elizabeth stayed at share a parking lot. Elizabeth and the guy walked across the parking lot together, and met with the couple. Elizabeth was pacing and seemed nervous.

BeanE, did the family say whether the 'two hotels' might have been the two separate halves of Homegate (also separated by a parking lot) - or did she definitely stay at Quality Inn, as well?

I think if that were the case, then LE would not be identifying the couple's room as Elizabeth's room.

So this would have been the 26th, the only time she had two rooms. I just don't see why she would be pacing and nervous, unless she had second thoughts.

I think you got that right! She knew that that was it...and I bet she was worried about getting busted at that moment as well.

Were her personal belongings found in the Quality Inn room as well? I'm confused on why she would get the 2nd room? It seems like it would be for the couple or the guy.

I don't think LE would say it was her room unless they had evidence to support that, like her belongings, witnesses, etc.

It would be great if the video could be released or we could find out a description of the couple. Even if they were disguising their hair-color or build, height can't be faked.

Since we don't have any about him yet (except that he seems to like pizza a lot) anything is possible, and someone she was just having a fling with is not unreasonable.

I wonder if he came forward to LE, or if they've been able to track him down. The couple too seen with him and Elizabeth too. Could be perfectly innocent. I wonder if they came forward to LE, or if LE found them.

We know that neither the guy nor the couple has been in the media for interviews. But I wonder if they went to LE.

I'm hoping the family will get more info from LE in their meeting this morning, even if it's just that LE tracked these people down and were able to rule them out.

Even if this Hispanic man was an acquaintance she socialized with, it seems unlikely she wouldn't have divulged something pertinent regarding her plans for Gabriel to him. I believe, however, that this man is involved in the disappearance of Gabriel.

Probably not an original thought, but I've been wondering if perhaps the unidentified Hispanic male may have been a translator (English/Spanish) for a Spanish-speaking couple.

I believe, however, that this man is involved in the disappearance of Gabriel.

I think he's a really good lead. Even if he wasn't involved, he just might have important information - something EJ mentioned, an overheard phone conversation, knowledge of someone EJ met with, seeing a name or address written on a piece of paper, etc.

But, since he was seen with EJ and a couple in the parking lot, and since EJ told the FBI she gave Gabe to a couple in the parking lot, I can't help but suspect he's her connection.

Now, if we could just figure out who he might be. Let's look for bread crumbs we can follow. How can we find people Elizabeth knew who might be this guy, or might be connected to this guy?
