Smit was way off the mark. There was no intruder. And please don’t tell me it was Santa Bill the elderly man with a bad heart condition. No signs of forced entry anywhere in the house. No stun gun was used,Thanks for the post. I know this case is one where people tend to have set views. I can see why people have the view it was 'inside job' although I never understand why people think it is Burke as in my opinion this is nasty ill founded theory that has only really come to prominence after The Case Of JonBenet. However I can see why people might suspect John or Patsy in a way although in my view I think they both loved and cared for their daughter very much. My theory really is that of the late Detective Lou Smit but with a suspect. I believe my suspect liked to spend a long time in homes and would have written the Ransom Note as a joke before the crime as he had a sick sense of humour. I think it was a 'joke' but it also served as a big red herring. My suspect also liked to tie ornate knots. I am not going to name him here but you will get some idea of who he is if you read my posts. You may well be right but that is my view and he was no ordinary intruder. Cheers.
that crock of spit has been debunked ad infinitim. No way an intruder is getting through that little window in the basement and leaving the cob webs intact. The note was written using Patsy’s pad and sharpie pen with a practice note as well. The “intruder” not only coaxed JonBenet but would have fed her pineapple without worrying about getting caught or seen. The “intruder” deals a near fatal head blow to JonBenet and then waits at least 45 minutes before strangling her. He, she, or they leave without any footprints in the snow. I really could go on but it’s not necessary.
