LOL! When there's a will there's a way.
That's interesting about the envelopes and pens/imbalance - maybe the notes were simply folded.

I hope that Maya does know something believable but still, she may be capable of making stuff up in order to better her own case. I hope she was able to produce the actual notes, hand to hand, to the jail officials for examination. The prisoners will turn on one another in a heartbeat I bet.

I'm wondering if reply notes were found among KC's confines. Can they be flushed or how would one get rid of them?

So do you work with the blind now?

WBG, you are so right - we found a way with a lot of intense study and practice I might add! Actually, she is still my best buddy since 5th grade and we talk daily (live 500 miles away). Drove the teachers nuts! BTW, ASL is sign language for the deaf, and no I don't work with the deaf typically - but I found that we did adlib a bit from trying to sign to a deaf person.

Back on topic. . . . . I also have wondered if they found any letters in kc's cell, or what kc said when confronted about the note passing (another lie perhaps?)

<respectfully snipped>

We know Maya wasn't making it up, because LE went to the third party and obtained the letters that were written to Robyn.

Here's how it was done:
A jail guard felt sorry for Casey Anthony and another inmate at Orange County Jail and helped the two exchange letters, WESH-Channel 2 reported tonight.
Guard Silvia Hernandez befriended inmate Robyn Adams and helped Adams communicate with Anthony through a small vent and hide letters in a common area, WESH’s Bob Kealing said.
Hernandez reportedly received nothing from the two women, and because of that, the toughest punishment she faces is losing her job, Kealing added.

They did hide letters, and talked in the vent.

What will be interesting to me, and probably obvious to most of you, will be whether or not we can tell if the letters were written privately by Casey, or instigated, inspired by, or assisted with, by somebody else. cough cough.

I needed a lozenge just reading that!

Oh that's neat about your good friend. Thanks for the correction about the sign language - duh, so much for my jokes!

I hope we find out more details about the whole situation and the contents of the letters soon too.

I think it made your joke even funnier! Newsflash on In Session on TruTv, they will carry hearing live on Monday, we will see if JB etal attempt to keep the letters from the public domain.

haa, sorry.

What I meant to say was, I am pretty sure we'll be able to tell by the writing style whether the letters are all and only Casey's original thoughts. Considering 5pm Friday has come and gone without a motion from the Defense, and with even the slightest suggestion/speculation that JB might WANT the letters released, I think we'll be able to tell from the verbiage/style whether the letters are from Casey's hand alone, or whether she was corn-fed what to say. Does that make sense? Or should I come right out and say it? Did anyone on the Defense know she was writing letters, and instruct her on what to say. Blah, I don't want to start a rumor, just throwing out a thought to bear in mind when reading the letters (and read the letters, we shall, I hope).

Bear with me here, how did Maya know what Robyn did? Were all three of them passing letters back and forth?

Up until now I thought KC wrote Maya and KC wrote Robyn but that they were independent of one another. Now Maya claims that she knows exactly what and why Robyn did what she did with her letters? As well as who Robyn passed them on to on the outside?

Why isn't this making any sense to me? Why would Robyn tell Maya about letters she managed to sneak out of the jail and give to another party? Why would Robyn tell Maya that tidbit? Just jawjabbing? Also why would Robyn tell Maya who she gave the letters to? If jawjabbing I can understand Robyn telling Maya 'blah, blah, blah', but why who she gave the letters to?

Did Robyn want there to be a snitch? Okay then.

Robyn 'reluctantly' told LE there were letters and who she gave them to on the outside (but not how?).

I just remembered reading the above somewhere - does that sound familiar?

Does this mean, if true, the letters will be revealed and contain information that seems defense friendly?

Thanks AZ - I missed the connection to Maya altogether. Is that where the hidden letters within the jail info comes into play - from within her cell?

How does one give letters to a third party outside the jail for safekeeping? When they leave or move to Federal Prison they are escorted and only allowed to leave with what they came in with I would think. It's not like RA could hand a stack of letters off to somebody prior to going to the other facility. Is the guard implicated in that maneuver too?

Does Skye, who is rumored to have been in the same jail for a time, have any connections to these letters? Is that possible?
From what I can gather of the story, the guard was passing the notes between Casey and Robyn. Maya ratted Casey out and they searched Robyn's cell.

Oh so sorry, I was going a whole different direction (ie: ZFG gave me a script, LP's daisy chain is all true, fusion ultra lounge is a haven for baby nappers, etc) Now it looks like I am starting rumors . . . .

I think it was Casey talking to Maya...

I too wonder if someone from the defense encouraged this and ultimately backfired because KC just loves attention. When KC was out on bond, it was apparent to Rob D and Tracey M that JB tried to coach KC to pretend to be sad about Caylee's disappearance and she screwed that up too.

She would brag about eating tons of hot wings, talk of stuffing her face at olive garden, eating the chicken sandwich from Wendy's... then after being in JB's office for the day she had a sad countenance on the ride back and asked RD and/or TMc if it looked like she had lost weight because she was too sad and hadn't eaten for days. Rob D said her wheels had to spin a bit before she remembered about the sandwich.

Wouldn't surprise me if the defense perpetrated at least some of this, and KC screwed it up.. again

Due to not reading every post, I am forced to ask a stupid question.

Did Casey have a stack of letters hidden in her cell at any time? What did Casey do with the letters she received from Maya and Robyn?

Not a stupid question, all of us are here wondering as well!

Maya never said she knew where the letters were. Maya knew about the existence of the letters (presumably because KC told her), and LE went to talk to Robyn in federal prison, who spilled the beans.

The Orange County Clerk of Courts will be closed to the public on Friday, April 2. The staff, however, is working a full day.

Finally found this little tidbit of info on that site.
