So I've seen Derrek's name spelled different ways and the guy in the band is Derek Ammon like you mentioned above. This family is very odd... I see that they all mention their mom as their hero. But I am not sure I've even seen her picture or her name.

His sister Shiloh is quite angry at the world it seems.

Ok, so it's just Derek or Derricke, Shiloh and Raven and their last name is either Peters or Abaroa and maybe at one point Ammon?? LOL

I'm pretty sure Jacob is a brother as well. One of Raven's earlier incarnations of the website 2nutmeg linked him.

I've often felt creepy there, and I'm not sure what it is. In small doses it's not so bad but it's definitely not my preferred place to hang out.

Remember when I speculated early on that these kids were Goths? I think I hit it with Shiloh at least... Raven is in a class all by himself. The Chameleon.

I don't know of any normal people on MySpace.
Somehow, though, I have access priveleges on there, which in itself is scary. I have never, to the best of my knowledge, accessed a MySpace page before. If I did, they must have some powerful cookies because I empty my cache every day.
I was able to see Raven's sibs photos and his bio and all " kudo" comments.

I think these people are Goths. WHY would a 25 year old associate with something so immature? I think he goes with whatever someone else is raving about. Raving Raven.

I did notice that, and it sent a chill down my spine.

BTW, do any of you know of any normal, mature, married folks on MySpace? I'm not asking to be judgemental but because my teenage daughter has been asking me for almost a year to allow her to set up an account there. So I decided to check the site out, and ended up spending about 6 hours one night reading profile after profile after profile before deciding that there is no way in h*ll that I'm letting her create a profile there. I imagine that there must be normal folks on there but I did not encounter even ONE on the night I was checking it out, (of course, I got to other profiles by clicking on friends' lists so that might explain it). In any case, it seemed almost like an online hang-out for a lot of the kids, and people looking to network, hook up, make themselves look "cool", etc. The profiles that I found were just all very odd or very immature, and I'm just wondering if any of you have more experience with the site than me.

Aha, you guys are all good... I've kept up with this thread since the beginning but the past few days have really picked up and I'm losing track :doh:

So I looked up Jacob Abaroa-Peters and he is a sports writer and radio announcer it seems. So is my brother, and my brother is in Nevada. My brother changed his last name for radio purposes.... I wonder if my brother knows him. He used to broadcast for an American League baseball team...
This keeps getting more and more interesting.

I am totally blown away by the apparent life long deceptive practices of those Peters brothers and sisters, who decided to give themselves their mother's maternal relatives' name, who make up names for themselves like they are role- playing, instead of living.

I theorized that he was a fraud and that his name was fake days ago, and I am so thankful that we have found out at least part of his birth name- not Abaroa, but Peters. Did Janet ever know that Raven and his siblings changed their names around? What did she know about Raven?

BTW, the Jennifer in Utah who is friends with Raven's brother and sister on the MySpace.com site grew up as an LDS member. Found stuff about it in her comments.

Many people here have spent hours digging and searching for info on the people involved in Janet's life.
The sorrowful thing about it is that there are people who are reading here, the number one hit on Google about the crime who have the answers we are seeking so hard and long.

I have received some anonymous information from a former friend of Raven that I will share if you'd like me to. It's just some background information; nothing earth-shattering. I wasn't going to post it because I don't know it as fact. I don't want anyone to perceive it that way nor do I wish to divulge the source of the information. I'm not trying to play cloak-and-dagger; I just want to be true to my word, and share what I've heard while keeping the source anonymous.

Again, it's nothing extreme or bizarre, etc., so don't get excited.
