Oh I definitely will. That's one thing that's bugged me for ages, and it always seems like the camera is too close up to show her hands and she rarely gestures with them anyway. But this time they showed a side shot of her while she was gesturing so they could show the photo on her computer screen and I made a point to look at that hand, and that finger was not bent.

Fwiw, I can do that exact same thing with my finger. I'm constantly going up to Mr. Litig8r and pointing out my "broken" finger.

Long lunch break... plenty of time for JA and defense to come up with new person to throw under bus.... blame the new pope and his smoke for clouding her judgement and memory... she's blamed everyone else and she's brought God into her narration as a witness to the "incident". I just noticed that while Jodi was saying that she didn't understand the photo that Martinez puts up that shows her leg/foot with Travis's head and arm/shoulder that she's gesturing with her hands at that finger isn NOT bent. Just to be sure, it's her left hand ring finger that she claims is bent, right?

I've been dying to get a look at her on the stand making hand gestures to see if that finger is bent all the time or if she's double jointed and shows it bent only when she wants to.

Ita! It's crazy! Surely this jury doesn't appreciate the seemingly lack of respect for their time. We just had 45 minutes or so, right? How is that expeditious at all? I still don't understand the five day break. Perhaps it was discussed and I missed it?

They don't have trial on Fridays, and then there was initially supposed to be no trial on Monday and Tuesday due to an attorney conflict. They atty conflict got cleared up, but by then one of the jurors (expecting to be off) was scheduled to leave town.

someone needs to get on this Judge about time issues....they will only have court 2 days this week.....10:30-4:30 with 2 hours in breaks (lunch and breaks) not to mention Nurmi's objections, that is 4 hrs a day....this trial will last thru the summer!!! this is a waste of taxpayer's money! they need to lengthen hours especially if they are only going to be there 2 freaking days. The judge needs to order that Nurmi have lunch brought in and take matters up with the court off the jury's time (i.e. the wasted time this morning)

Well, I'm going to be off to the outing I promised to DD15. FWIW, as much as Nurmi annoys me, I really believe the creature insisted upon exercising her right to testify on her own behalf. An attorney cannot force a client to listen to his/her advice. IMO she thought she could talk her way out of it.

If I lived in AZ I would be TICKED OFF!!! This court and the delays with Nurmi and the CONSTANT communications problems that are resulting in MASSIVE TRIAL DELAYS and not only that but the MISERY that these delays are causing the Family of Travis and the WASTEFUL use of taxpayer money in paying of this Death Penalty Case is just ABSURD!!! The taxpayers of AZ should be up in arms over the complete and utter disregard for being prompt and not wasting money. This is the most poorly run court I have seen.

I am not in AZ but I totally agree.
