Is that true or are ya just messing w/ me?

Dr gave me a script for antibiotic & a good cough syrup. Maybe the cough medicine will help me tolerate JA a little better today! Doubtful...but at least I won't be screaming @ my laptop while watching this mess since I'm sick & medicated @ the moment! :floorlaugh:

DD and I usually cook some Ramen Noodles, add jalapeno juice and some chopped jalapenos! Works really well!

That's exactly what happens to me when I step on my entrance shelves.
THEY FLIP UP.

BTW~ I'm 5'3 and 125(ish) lbs.

Because these were not solid, built in shelves? They were on pins. I was just dusting my great room, and too much pressure on a shelf on pins flipped it up. That was just with the edge of my hand.

I have similar shelves in my closet. I tried to duplicate what Jodi claimed she did to get the gun. Not only did the shelf tip, it dumped everything on the shelf to the floor. I was able to stand on the bottom shelf without disturbing anything on it or tipping it though, but the shelf I used to hold onto was the one that tipped.

Try putting all your wieght on it in a hurry and see what happens.

I also have solid built-in shelves in my closet and I do, on occasion, step on the lower shelf to reach an item on an upper shelf. I really do not understand why Mr. Martinez is talking so much about TA's shelves.

She stepped on the second or third shelf according to her testimony ( which have pins). Also, they only take a load of 40 lbs. There is no way those shelves would have been undisturbed.

BBM TA's were resting on pins so she could not have stepped on them to reach a gun (that wasn't there) IMO

i want to know what's up with June 3rd, 2008 photos with neck! Hope it comes in on rebuttal, if that's possible

I know I have said this before , but I really think it would have been great if Juan would have had an exact replica of closet shelves and ask Jodi to reach back to the top corner. I doubt she could have even gotten up there and reach top corner.

He could have a stopwatch and say GO. It would be hilrious. She would fail miserabley.

Considering that .25s on the Colt template typically have 6 round magazines, I want to know where Travis found a place that sells by the bullet, that'll let you go in and fill your gun up without cluttering the place up with that pesky box of 44 bullets you don't need.

Hmmm. Dunkin Donuts buy 6 bear claws or munchkins and receive a half dozen 25 caliber for half price?

When did she first take the stand? Was it Feb. 4th? I'm too exhausted to click around and look back in our timelines.
She was on direct longer than several trials I've had my eye on over the last month. Unreal. It's been like a trial within a trial within a trial. Direct, cross, re-direct. Jury questions, Nurmi follow up, Juan follow up. Now what??

Then the rest of the defense CIC.

Juan rebuttal case.

Closings.

Jury instructions.

Deliberations.

It's emotionally taxing for us, with that said I don't know how his family makes it to the courtroom EVERY DAY, sits in the front row facing the demon and her defense and abides by the courtroom rules like warriors. I'm floored by them.

Travis's shelves appear to be the type you customize by fitting brackets into the holes creating the height of shelf you want. You just place the shelf on top of the bracket. You cannot step on them without the back lifting up and dumping you off the shelf. Not to mention JM stated they were only rated for 40 pounds anyway, in terms of what could be placed on the shelves.

I have these shelves and you cannot step on them.

She was NOT 120 then, maybe now, but not back then. Why do these crazies care so much about how much others think they weigh? FCA was furious when someone called her "fat". LOL

you saying that makes me remember the picture of her back with all the moles and back fat.... Yuck :puke:

I couldn't live there either, but the people didn't know the history of the house until 2 weeks before they closed on it. There was a story about it on a local channel in Phoenix. It's on youtube. I'll try to see if I can find it.

Thanks. Wow, that's crazy! Every state I've ever lived in has disclosure laws about dwellings that dictate these things have to be disclosed and even things that are known to be wrong with the home have to be disclosed.

These were not built-in shelves. They were adjustable shelving unit(s) requiring 4 pegs (plastic or metal) to rest the shelf in place.
If you apply weight to the front ledge, the shelf with tip. It's just resting on these pegs not anchored to them.

She was right about it being 2nd Nephi and that is why Mr. Martinez should lay off of the BOM questioning. I really don't know why he went there. TA also disobeyed his religion.

Remember that Juan Martinez is now doing the cross examination following the jurors' questions and Jodi's answers. There were a number of questions from the jurors about the Book of Mormon and Jodi's understanding of it.

JM can and should be nailing her down on this issue.

Out where I live, they only have to disclose it if someone specifically asks.

Well I will say that's not a question I asked when buying my home.

So, was anyone brutally murdered in this house? LOL!!

Or even if someone died...just not something that was on my mind I guess.

Reminder to people just tuning in to this: this is a CROSS of already existing juror questions. THATS ALL IT IS. unfortunately Nurmi will ger a redirect on everything JM has said. IF Nurmi introduces new evidence then yes, JM will get to re-re-cross jury questions part 2.0; but wait....now there are more jury questions....rinse and repeat.....

This will go on and on and on.....untill we have rebuttal ....then we will go back and forth on cross/re-cross/ blahblahblsh.....

And then maybe by 2020 we will have JA convicted.
