Michael Kiefer @michaelbkieferI am told that there is a body-language expert in the Arias trial gallery.
lol
I bet she is getting quite an eyeful of "body language" during these delays...

Only the observations are of the jurors, the gallery, etc... more than the defendant! :what:

Technical problems again? Where were the Techies during lunch break, at lunch? :furious:

If I've said it once, I've said it a thousand times... What a HUGE waste of taxpayer money. :furious:

If I was a juror I might be tempted, since the questions are anonymous anyway, to submit a question to the Judge. "Are you ever going to take control of this courtroom Judge?"

I very much worry over those who simply see a woman scorned in Jodi instead of the walking, talking epitome of abusive behaviors she actually is. (Please understand I am not trying to be belittling or dismissive either...this comes from a good place, I swear.)

When you can't, or won't, see abuse for what it is just because it doesn't look the way you'd presume it opens the doors that you, or those you love, may become victims of it yourself. Apart from his murder - no matter what your 'mate' does, stalking is never acceptable - it is a form of psychological torture. Violating boundaries and their privacy constantly isn't okay either. Destroying another person's property or warning folks off someone just because you're jealous shouldn't become alright because he did a,b,c first. It's wrong, period. And just those actions alone are very congruent with a batterer for a very sound reason - abuse is always all about control.

A relationship with a psychopath is something I truly wouldn't wish on my very worst enemy - much less the gentle, compassionate souls that often follow this forum.

Think it's time to call in Judge Judy. Boy would I love to see her running this circus.

No, I don't believe she used it for that. In the nude photo of Travis on the bed, he has duct tape on his right arm. And then in the shower pics of him, you can see the red mark on his arm where the tape was ripped off. Then you next see the tape in the picture where he is sitting down but his head is not visible - it's in the bottom right side of the photo. Finally, the last place we see it is in the evidence photos from the laundry room.

I'm just guessing on this, but since the prosecution hasn't brought it up at all, I believe they investigated and the usage of this tape was benign to the murder. I've heard some people say that men who are working out their muscles sometimes wrap duct tape around their arms to bust off while flexing. Who knows... seems kind of silly. But can't think of why the prosecution would not have discussed this already unless they are saving something for rebuttal.

I'm kind of surprised that the jury hasn't asked about it.

He has a Body Bugg on his arm, not duct tape.

ITA! They just had a dang two hour lunch....it seems technicians should have been working on this problem then.

I'm beginning to wonder if the techs get 2 hr lunches too.

10:30 start, hour and a half lunch, early stop, three or four days a week...... this is absurd and disrespectful to the jurors. I'd be frustrated as hell and think this contributes to the possibility of juror misconduct.

Did she spill water or have an accident?

This time wasting has gone way past unacceptable. I have jury duty in 2 weeks and if goes anything like this, I may lose everything I have. I do NOT get paid for jury duty!

I hope you get an experience like mine. I had it this morning. They kept letting groups go home and never calling any up. I was the last group to be let go, but I was still home by noon. They ended up not needing a single juror today. Crazy waste of time and money, but at least they didn't keep us all day.

You'd think the judge would just say ..."because of the delays we're working late and on saturday". Why isn't she taking the bull by the horns with these delays?

The poor jury have LIVES unlike JA

At this point I'd settle for them just working on all of the weekdays!
