Nurmi - May we approach.
NO YOU MAY NOT

Oh what I wouldn't do to get someone to set off her tazer!!!!!!

  • #483
If I hear her say "I heard the clink of the knife hitting the tile" one more time I'm going to pull every single hair out of her head.

Can you say REHEARSED?

She remembers taking her luggage, the gun and rope but nothing else.
She doesn't know where the knife or her shoes went.

Her luggage was in the car already per Jodi.

When is the judge going to smack down Nurmi?

  • #486
Shut up, Nurmi!! Quit objecting - you can't save her!!

  • #487
I love how her fog comes in and out .. comes in for the stabbing, goes out for dropping the knife, comes back in for the attempted clean up and the drive out of Mesa .. etc etc etc .. I mean really.

Fog rolls in, fog rolls out.

I can't recall... what's her most recent version of events when it comes to the holster. Was there or wasn't there one?
I'm sure she'll have answers to each theory she's dreamed up.

Keep annoying the jury Nurmi!

  • #496
Why doesn't Nurmi just drag his chair up under the Judges bench :furious: So sick of "May we approach"

  • #497
I think that Nurmi is sinking his own case (to the extent that it isn't torpedoed already). The jury has GOT to be as annoyed as we all are with his constant interruptions every time she starts to lie(or get caught in one).

She screams, drops knife then all foggy. Next thought is driving barefoot in desert. Nurmi trying to protect her with objections but she answers anyway

That worries me. It makes a hung jury more likely. At the very least, it's second degree murder based on her story and his wounds. If there were any doubts about murder one, they would likely compromise for murder two. Now it's murder one, hung jury or acquittal. Juan should have gave the option for second degree murder.

BBM. This is simply false. Each side can and very likely will ask for jury instructions for lesser includeds and there is a 99.999999999999999% chance they will get such instructions.

But aside from that, premeditation was very well proven, IMO, by JM. The jury questions indicate that as well.
