Unfortunately Travis may have a had sex addiction to Jodi. Maybe he confessed that to her, hence the so-called "pamphlets" she gave him. Just a thought.

I don't believe she ever gave him pamphlets. You don't go getting pamphlets on sex addiction and pedophilia at the mall.

(I agree he didn't invite her and that she snuck in).

Given how he felt about her by early June--he had within the prior week or two called her evil and a sociopath, and had in the same time frame said to a friend that if he didn't show up for Sunday dinner it was because Jodi had killed him-- the other possibility for why he had sex with her that day was that at some level he was afraid of her, and hoped that having sex with her would appease her and that afterwards she would do as she said and trek far away- 2 states' worth-- on her way out of his life to hook up with Ryan.

That is what I see in his eyes in that photo of his last minutes alive.

And he could have chose to not open the door and call the police.

It makes perfect sense to me. He's a red-blooded male and she waved something in his face he couldn't resist.

Look at all the times he got back together with her even after she slashed his tires (twice!), slashed his date's tires. Many months after he knew she was an obsessive stalker who got into his email and Facebook accounts, slipped into his bed or hid in his closet waiting for him to come home. Drove hundreds of miles to confront a girl he was dating; sent anonymous emails. And THAT was months after they broke up in the first place, for very good reasons.

Christmas 2007 - She slashes all four of his tires. The next day he buys four new tires. She slashes those.

January 2008 - She sends him sexy texts on January 8 and January 18.

March 2008 - TA and JA visit several states together, including Texas and Oklahoma.

April 2008 - Several weeks after JA moves back to Yreka, TA sends her the following texts:

April 20, 2008 - TA texts JA: "I am at a night club right now and it helped me to come to the conclusion that you are one of the prettiest girls on the planet."

April 21, 2008 - TA texts JA: "Send me a naughty picture."

May 10, 2008 - TA texts Arias: "Why don't you have him come and f--k you in the woods, I can only imagine you are so worried about me reading. You are paranoid because you have no respect for people privacy and you dare insult me of all people. Someone you should through your actions you hate more than love by denying me a human right of privacy countless times. You have a lot of freaking nerve. We are all not like you in that aspect."

Around the same date JA records a 40-minute phone call in which they both talk dirty and talk about fantasies of things they'd do to one another.

May 26, 2008 - TA sends JA angry texts over something she has done, calls her evil and the worst thing that ever happened to him.

June 4, 2008 - While some go to great lengths to insist TA couldn't possibly have had a sexual encounter with JA that day, that she must have uploaded old photos onto his camera or taken the photos herself without TA's knowledge (viz Occam's Razor) I saw a comment the other night that, to me, hit the nail squarely on the head:

"And I am sorry for the morally superior here. You show me a guy who turns down sex from an attractive girl when she waves it in his face. Go ahead. I'll wait."

I can't believe I'm admitting this but... I've actually had a man turn it down not once, not twice but three times by 3 different men... 1) I'm not Miss America but dogs don't run backwards when they see me coming (HA ha my mom's saying) 2) I'm not pencil thin I got a curve or 2 but I still shop in Gap NY & Co and 3) single, no kids, no criminal record & at time owned my own home.. felt I needed to qualify myself after that statement..

BUT.. 1 man separated not officially Divorced not ready to go there, another was a jerk (hindsight glad he didn't) then last one we've had on & off physical relationship, friendship, spend holidays together etc BUT he has said No not at this time sighting valid reasoning and he's not involved etc..

So all my embarrassment sharing is to say yes I think there are times when a woman flaunts her stuff & man for his own reasons will say no.. to think he couldn't resist says that men/TA can't control themselves any different than barnyard animal...

With that being said he may have indulged in good riddance sex because he knew next romp would most likely be wedding night.. jmo TMI & embarrassment lol! :floorlaugh:

Heck no - she would not want to cure him of his addiction to her! She loved the fact that he wanted her so much. It was only when she thought she was losing that control that she planned his murder. She went there for one last "control" and to kill him so she would remain his weakness.

Am I the only one that is thrilled the jury didn't ask about the magazine messages?? Nurmi wasn't given the chance to ask about it and let JA ramble on some crazy BS story. I wonder if one of the questions was about this but it referenced the hearing or something and got thrown out. Anyway, I think it was a great thing that it wasn't asked about!
