just read your all's posts, those are some thoughts regarding plant growth, etc. Could be. Just freaky to me it happened to wind up completely upright like that if she was placed lying down, even if her head had been propped up somewhat originally (I never heard that it was propped up), but even if it was, you'd think the upper vertebrae and other structures would have been in the way, keeping the head at least at a tilt, and after soft tissue disappeared seems like an upper vertebrae or two would still be in the way (of the skull sitting completely upright).... I would have expected the head to be lying back or to topple back eventually. But maybe pushed up into the upright position by plant growth, that's a thought... unless it was placed like that after it was disarticulated or something.
