The Lifetime Movie Network aspects of this case just get more and more bizarre. I mean....she had a lot of freaking hair. Coloring it in a public restroom is not easy ! And messy. I wonder if anyone reported strange spatter all over a restroom sink. So bizarre...and so premeditated.

It's a long drive, plus she stopped in socal to visit a friend first. Perhaps she got a room somewhere to dye her hair, catch a little shuteye. She could have done this under an alias.

In those photobucket photos, it looks strange to me where the shower head is.....I thought it was much higher up in the other photos...what am I missing here?

Are these photos separate from the ones posted at Huffington?

His friends...said that he traveled so much that it was normal for his car to be there for periods of time when he wasn't. Apparently he flew sometimes and left his car there.

What was Travis Alexander's normal/usual practice for pet care for his dog Napoleon during his frequent travels?

Just a thought here, but it could be that the 'Koolaid stains' found on the seats of the rental car could have been drippings from the hair dye episode. I can see how a brown color, mixed with rinse water could result in a reddish tone.

Iirc there was far too much staining to be from drippings from having dye on her head. If she were dyeing while driving while listening to I Whip My Hair Back And Forth.... Perhaps. My my understanding there was just too much staining for that.

I think it's odd that the show was taken down everywhere on the internet but will be run by CBS just as the pros. rests and the jurors are on a break. Bad idea, imo, and really inexplicable if taking it down from the internet had anything whatever to do with the trial in the first place. jmo

IMO, they took it down so they could get maximum ratings mileage out of it later. Interest is at a peak during the trial, as we saw in the interest here the last few weeks. I realized it when I saw JA is the subject of tonight's 48 Hours.

To me it compares to my husband having watched the movie 2012 on our amazon prime streaming last fall. We had planned to watch it on New Years Eve..and it was only available for purchase. Same situation of knowing when demand will peak.

I'm going to be a wreck before the two week hiatus is up. I'm already ready, already.

Yeah, I think you're right. And again - I have to laugh at and keep reminding myself - no longer have to prove she did it. She's already admitted to the murder.

Hair mishaps, oh dear...accidently dyed mine green once, way back in the 80s when I was adventurous, lol. I remember using a kind of temporary hair color, don't recall the brand (but it was cheap!) that came in a big grey bottle. It rinsed right out easily. I can see this kind of temp hair color not bleaching the car interior permanently if it was diluted with enough water.

Yes there are hair colors that don't contain peroxide and she may have used one of those called "temporary hair color". I think you are on to something here. Her hair also looked like it was quickly losing it's color as in the interrogation videos it was already looking kind of reddish which is what happens with the brown starts to diminish...that kind of brassy thing starts to happen.

No I'm not a hairdresser. I just started turning grey in my 20's and I'm vain. ;)

Agree, but not sure how she would get it on the back and passenger seats of the car.

I know there was some thought among the posters that it was taken down because of the trial and that's why I mentioned it. Personally, I agree with you, but I honestly don't know which is true.

If dyeing you hair from rest stop to rest stop isn't a part of pre meditation, I don't know what is!

I too asked this earlier. Wouldn't his dog be howling and barking, smelling the place up with waste? Wouldn't it have gotten attention especially if they thought Travis was gone?
I'm not suggesting anything at all is suspicious about any roommate. I believe Jody committed this premeditated heinous murder all by herself! Imo
Perhaps travis's room was rather isolated from the rest of the house?

I've been watching In Session from yesterday and the crime scene photographer Heather Conner and it inspired me to write this letter to the Mesa PD:

I have been watching this Jodi Arias trial with interest. My sister who lived in Mesa was murdered in 1988 and we dealt extensively with the Mesa PD. Suffice to say I have quite a bit of experience sitting in courtrooms viewing testimony of crime scenes.
I have been viewing the testimony of the crime scene photographer Heather Conner and I just wanted to say that I don't think I've seen such a precise and thorough crime scene witness anywhere in any trial.
Ms. Conner's demeanor is what they should use in trainings to teach personnel "how to testify". She displays the perfect blend of competence and confidence. She inspires complete trust in me in her abilities in her job. While watching her, I feel like I'm seeing a person who's landed in life with exactly what she was born to do.
I'm so impressed with her, I felt the need to write it to the PD. I feel grateful to live in an area that hires and/or trains employees with such professionalism. I hope this letter ends up in her file.

Thank you.

Good morning/afternoon everyone! :seeya:

Katie, this letter is wonderful and so are you! Talk about being involved in a system and a process in the very best way.
I admire how you've gone through such a journey-- from losing your sister in the worst way to being involved with so much insight and passion for our criminal justice system. I can imagine how special (and rare) it will be for the Mesa PD and Heather Conner to read your letter, I don't think many people take the time to thank them for doing their job exceptionally well.

Thanks for all you do!

I am absolutely amazed, that in this day and age, we have so little information about Jodi's childhood, her friends, boyfriends, home-life etc. No teachers coming forward, neighbors, sports friends etc. It really boggles my mind.

Why has her 4 year love interest with the son not come forward to defend her- that one I don't get, at all.

Also, in the Documentary/48 hours episode they barely glossed over her life in Yreka, only showing quaint photos of the downtown (and it is a darling little town in terms of the main street)- they never once showed a photo of her grandparents actual home and they went so far as to insinuate that Jodi and Travis had much different childhoods- stating that his was poverty stricken with drug addicted parents and that Jodi's was somewhat normal. Where was Jodi's actual home located with her parents and siblings while she was growing up?

Jodi even commented herself in the show that her "childhood was somewhat ideal."

Really?

Weren't her parents divorced? Didn't she run away from home on several occasions and I was under the impression that she never graduated from high school!

Am I the only one who finds this less than 'ideal' in terms of childhoods?

I really want to know her history. Her life long history!

Agree, but not sure how she would get it on the back and passenger seats of the car.

Good question! I suppose she could have tossed the used, wet towel onto the passenger seat then the back seat. Perhaps had the windows open, too, which would have dispersed droplets. JMHO.

I've heard doggie door and water/food dispensers which refill his bowls automatically. I have no link so treat this as just rumor. MOOOOOOO
