I have to say this though it won't be popular.

I think the reason that the jurors had the questions they did was because they feel (at this point) that "something isn't right" with the witnesses testimony.

I started out watching this being completely objective. I didn't know about the case, nor did I have any preconceived notions.

I felt Flores was cagey. Although his video'd interrogation was mostly superb, his testimony in court felt very engineered, like it was designed to only reveal pro-prosecution info, but that he was withholding stuff. I can't think of an example right now, but I had a distinct impression.

Then Melendez testified and I felt a similar feeling. On direct, Juan got Melendez to say that the last activity on the computer was at 3:34PM. BUT THEN in cross, the defense confirmed, after an objection and sidebar which was apparent to the jury, that the actual last activity on the computer was 4:54PM. That's over an hour difference. Maybe it's an innocent mistake, but there was an objection by Juan and a sidebar to discuss this timing difference.

The ME testimony in some ways does not seem to match his report, and there is the whole deal about whether he spoke with Flores about the gunshot being first, which Flores put into his report. While the ME may never have said this, the controversy may well be causing the jury to wonder about what he might be withholding or hiding or even misrepresenting.

I think the jury may be picking up on some feelings of having something pertinent purposely withheld from them. Whether it makes a difference or not, who knows, but no one likes feeling manipulated by misinformation or partial truths, IMO.

There are some other things I noticed, but I can't think of them right now. But something doesn't feel right.

That said, the more I learn, the more I personally feel that this was premeditated. But I am eagerly awaiting JA's "story". If nothing else, it should be fascinating.

That's why the defense cross examines. If they had proof the testimony was slanted or evidence withheld, it would come out. jmo I do understand what you are saying tho, I had the same sort of feeling.

They are replaying the ME's testimony today on In Session...with tons of commentary and even more commercials.

THE most interesting thing today was that the defense motion to toss out the Felony Murder option was denied. That surprised me honestly. But it works well for the State (and will be appealed ad nauseum after she's convicted and sentenced to Death for sure--really hope the Judge has good support for this decision).

Now the jury can be split on whether or not they agree to the premeditation and still convict her on First Degree Murder and qualify her for the DP.

Im not surprised anymore. At first I thought it may be tossed until the Judge cited case law in her ruling.

It seems in Arizona law if someone is willingly allowed into a person's home once an assault on the homeowner/renter happens then they are seen as no longer having permission to be there.

Of course she was convincing. She was able to fool Travis for 5 months. What's 45 minutes in her world. Wonder if she showed him some of her yoga moves we saw her perform in full view of the window where she knew LE was watching her during her first interview. Jodi loves an audience.

My guess is he will not publish the story because his boss and associates do not believe her story and can't believe he believed her story. jmo

I watched Greta Van Sustrene and a young, attractive male reporter interviews Jodi in prison and he told Great that he just could not see where this little, soft spoken, fragile girl with tiny little hands could have brutally murdered this man. I have a very big concern that the males on the jury will feel the very same way. During this interview, her jail cell was shown and during the interview all her friends in jail held up signs saying "Free Jodi". Greta pointed out that all people in jail claim to be innocent. I don't think Greta liked it very much when the young reporter was taken in so fast by Jodi.

I tbink first accidental photo camera fell on sheet she was pulling him onto and was upside down. The next two photos camera kept shooting while programmed to reshoot of ceiling and then baseboard, carpet and him being dragged on sheet. Camera still being dragged on the sheet. Shet not in photo but on sheet.

Anyone notice how JA drops her Jackie Kennedy voice when she is being interrogated and asked about the crime scene pics?

It sounds like she has a 'normal' voice there.

Her voice reminds me of another knife wielding killer...Darlie Routier. I don't think I could ever trust a grown woman that talks that way.

I haven't read all the posts and this has probably been hashed out before by our astute websleuthers but I found it odd that no soap or shampoo is being used the whole time. Also, that he is leaning alot throughout, up against the wall, until he sits down at the end.

In the last image.... I know it was talked about, but does anyone else think that looks like it might be TA's hand? Maybe as its dropping to the floor while she is dragging him? I dont know why, but I think it looks like a hand to me.

I keep thinking about the cost of renting and driving a car that far vs. flying. I feel sure that flying would have been a cheaper way to go but then of course she could not have brought the gun or a knife. Premeditation!
