Me too. I'll line up to see that debacle...esp the cross examination. I think Troy Hayden was as much excited that he got that "get" in terms of getting inside the jail, getting her to talk to him at all, getting shots of her cell, all those tidbits from her jailbird friends, etc. I think he got all caught up in that. But if I see him in court next week I'm not above asking him...I sat right by him last time and rode up the elevator with him (big deal). But I'd be happy to inquire what he really thinks about that whole deal....and report back here of course. :slap: (just doing that symbolically and getting it off my chest in advance).

He made her sound like a celebrity. :banghead:

Blech.

Not to harp on Alyce LaViolette but to keep harping on her, if she's using Jodi Arias to advance her "celebrity", I suspect she will become more INfamous, than famous from this trial. :furious:

By the way, did you read some of the comments under that video of Troy Hayden's story? They are all ripping him to shreds...as it should be.

Per report - Napoleon usually had run of the house, but a restrictive gate had been put up to keep him out of upstairs.
Roommates girlfriend fed Napoleon.
Darn can't remember the other so far, but it is worth reading.

I haven't read them but I will now :) Just read some of the comments on Facebook to him.

He seemed to be all googly eyed after that interview.

If she does, I think she will do well, not like the detective Flores interviews, I think council along with four years will help her, I know we would all love to see her crack up, confess, get all bent out of shape but I would not think she will do any of those.

I'm not sure she could ever anticipate or prepare for what Martinez will ask her because she is committed to lying. Seems to me Martinez has had more experience in examining liars than Jodi has at testifying. So far she can't keep her story straight and he will nail her to the wall with that and expose her for the liar she is. You can see by the way she looks at him in court she knows how powerful he is and he could easily take her down on cross.

He sure isn't whiny like defense. jmo

They show Travis sister Tonisha quite a bit who has very long straight hair black with blond streaks. She usually has a look on her face of extreme pain. She's probably early 30's?

Jodi's Mom looks middle aged, shorter wavy hair..glasses?

Just to add about Tonisha...I sat directly behind her the day I went to court. She's very pretty in person. She looks a lot like Travis. Her husband is extremely attentive to her in court. She smiled at me when i took my seat which made me feel good..that she could still smile.

She looks so thin!

Personally, I'd love to spend an hour with her chatting about her defense strategy.

Better schedule it for two hours. The first hour and a half will be about her.

For example:

"Do what thou wilt, shall be the whole of the law." - Aleister Crowley

"Whatever you visualize, you materialize." - Dennis Waitley

"Dreams are the seedlings of realities." - James Allen

Sadly, Travis' old, admiring comment still sits at the bottom of her grab bag.

According to Mimi, Travis had called Jodi sometime earlier that last week to confront Jodi that she was hacking into his e-mail and FB accounts.
IMO, this is the 41 or 42 min phone call I was questioning. I wondered why he would phone her, and speak for so long.

Not to be tacky... or disrespectful in any way... but his older sister (T) seriously needs to eat a couple of cheeseburgers! She looks sickly thin! I cant even imagine the stress she has been and continues to go through. She looks soooo thin.

Too bad Jodi didn't tape that one! There were two calls of similar duration prior to Jodi's "excellent adventure" and I'm betting that what Travis had to say to her was to the point and she kept arguing. He was so done with her.

Yet, she still managed to show up and do her thing with and to him.

Hi, LambChop. I would barrage her in an entire litany of lies, a succession of questions about her weird trip preparations, and her strange post-murder alibi phone calls and media concoctions. I think that Jodi is vulnerable to an intense cross-examination. Repeatedly she has thought that she is smarter than she is.

Hi, JusticeJunkie. That intensity would explain both the late hour and the length of the call. (Some people here had previously suggested that it might be a sex call.)

Intense cross-examination? Do you own a suit of armor?

I saw an older interview with her and she looked much more fleshed out. I hope she can recover from her ordeal. She looks like one who has suffered way too much in her life.

Darn, that report won't let me copy sections, and the part I want is a lot to paraphrase.
Let's just say according to Zach, JA and T had a lot of arguments about her showing up, how she let herself into the home, moving near, ect. Sounds like a lot of arguments period.

Don't they have to prove that with her testimony? They can say it could have happened this way but that is not proof. The only person who can truly say what happened is Jodi because she was there. Defense attorneys can't testify. They can't say Jodi said this, they have to prove it, correct?

Ahhh, but you forget Jose Baez, and his opening statement. Casey never took the stand and he got it out there for her.

In the Sidebar for Caylee there is talk going on about Jose and his big mouth praising Casey in how smart she is, and that he made up the accident story and was helped by CBS

it would/will be a delicate cross examination. I mean if Martinez gets in to that escalating aggressive tone, I could see her dissolving in to her little girl "stop being so mean to me!" act and it could trigger some jurors to feeling sorry for her/thinking she's a person who can get bullied.

It would have to be a steady aimed rapid fire emotionally neutral style of barrage I think. And one I'd love to see.
