Darn, that report won't let me copy sections, and the part I want is a lot to paraphrase.
Let's just say according to Zach, JA and T had a lot of arguments about her showing up, how she let herself into the home, moving near, ect. Sounds like a lot of arguments period.

I'm wondering if Zach might be a witness being held for rebuttal. Since he overheard BOTH Travis and Jodi arguing, he is permitted to tell the arguments using Jodi's words as hearsay against self-interest of the defendant. He could also be permitted to testify to Travis' state of mind during the arguments, if not his words.

If the defense argues that Travis knew that Jodi was coming to visit, it's in!

If there's a lawyer on board, correct me if I am wrong.

Not to be tacky... or disrespectful in any way... but his older sister (Tonisha) seriously needs to eat a couple of cheeseburgers! She looks sickly thin! I cant even imagine the stress she has been and continues to go through. She looks soooo thin.

I'm sure this whole thing is taking a major toll on her. I thought in person she looked kind of naturally thin, very attractive and my first thought was not that she looked unhealthy. But I was sort of weirdly anxious being in court that day, not knowing where to sit, feeling awkward, etc. so I wouldn't trust my impressions 100%.

Don't know if this man is married but I could see his wife waiting for him when he arrived home and throwing a bucket of cold water on him while asking him....."are you crazy?" jmo

Sounds abusive to me...

It's been four years since the murder.... has anybody else wondered if any of Travis friends have ever done search parties along the roads leading to the desert to see if they could find the weapons and her bloody clothes? I know if Travis had been my bother I would have had search parties on Saturday or Sunday afternoons just LOOKING everywhere for those murder weapons. She couldnt have hidden them or got rid of them too far off of the road. I just have a feeling they are out there... just waiting to be found.

I think she burned the clothes and other evidence except the gun.

I agree, had it been my loved one I would have been out looking for possible burn sites.

There are a number of remote areas between here and Kingman.
Easy to burn evidence and not be noticed. Especially at night and in June when the temps are pretty high.

Personally, I'd be scared to death in some of those areas alone at night, or daytime for that matter.

Moo, IMHO, etc. :-)

it would/will be a delicate cross examination. I mean if Martinez gets in to that escalating aggressive tone, I could see her dissolving in to her little girl "stop being so mean to me!" act and it could trigger some jurors to feeling sorry for her/thinking she's a person who can get bullied.

It would have to be a steady aimed rapid fire emotionally neutral style of barrage I think. And one I'd love to see.

Agree, I imagine he would handle her the same way he did when he questioned her. She will trip herself up. lol

Why? I'm confused.

If the jurors have two brain cells to rub together, they'll get it right. If they don't ... having the murder weapon wouldn't make a difference unless Jodi had been caught in the act holding it to Travis's head... With a news crew filming the entire thing.

All IMO

Det. Flores was the one who questioned her. I doubt Martinez has been near her at all. I am sure that Martinez, who seems quick on his feet, will be a totally different experience from her interrogations by Flores and the other lady. He will not be so nice. He will pick every teensy inconsistency in her testimony and tear her to shreds with them. That's his style, that's his job. IMHO.

Ahhh, but you forget Jose Baez, and his opening statement. Casey never took the stand and he got it out there for her.

In the Sidebar for Caylee there is talk going on about Jose and his big mouth praising Casey in how smart she is, and that he made up the accident story and was helped by CBS

Baez was only given that pass because it was in his opening statement. From what I understand, that's the only leeway they get to put anything out there that isn't backed up by evidence. I think this DT's time for floating theories, without evidence to back it up, has passed. Baez was not able to use any of that BS in his closing because he couldn't provide any evidence that George Anthony was either a pedophile or an accomplice to murder. Can any of our legal eagles :rocker: clarify that? TIA.

Not a legal eagle, but you are correct about the Anthony case.

In this case, they have made statements that Travis was abusive to Jody. They will use their experts' testimony to "prove" it. If Jodi testifies, that's a whole 'nother thing!

It will be up to the judge to decide that.

I watched Greta Van Sustrene and a young, attractive male reporter interviews Jodi in prison and he told Great that he just could not see where this little, soft spoken, fragile girl with tiny little hands could have brutally murdered this man. I have a very big concern that the males on the jury will feel the very same way. During this interview, her jail cell was shown and during the interview all her friends in jail held up signs saying "Free Jodi". Greta pointed out that all people in jail claim to be innocent. I don't think Greta liked it very much when the young reporter was taken in so fast by Jodi.

:banghead:

imo this is soooo irresponsible of this reporter to make these claims with no evidence while the jury is not in sequester!!!:furious:

he is basing it on his "feelings" w/ no facts! this is not news!!

oops you are right. Thank you!

Me too. I'll line up to see that debacle...esp the cross examination. I think Troy Hayden was as much excited that he got that "get" in terms of getting inside the jail, getting her to talk to him at all, getting shots of her cell, all those tidbits from her jailbird friends, etc. I think he got all caught up in that. But if I see him in court next week I'm not above asking him...I sat right by him last time and rode up the elevator with him (big deal). But I'd be happy to inquire what he really thinks about that whole deal....and report back here of course. :slap: (just doing that symbolically and getting it off my chest in advance).

HAHAHA Just had a thought.... IF you were to see him dont say anything to him... print off a copy of JA's lady garden and sneak it into his jacket pocket. LOL!! Ewwwww Of course.. he might be kinky like that and like it... how gross!! Never mind..... next subject.... Some things can NOT be unseen!! rofl

They aren't suppose to be watching, reading or listening to any of this anyway. jmo

NG yacks on about her own insipid opinions ad nauseum. Apparently, this qualifies as "journalism".:waitasec:

Im sure this has been brought up... but for some reason I don't remember seeing it or reading it anywhere.... I'm still haunted by the last known picture of Travis alive. What if.... She had been standing there with the knife/gun and told Travis that she had killed MiMi because of him. I mean... it would have been one of the very last ways she had to hurt him. He obviously didnt care about JA anymore so I dont think her threats of suicide or self hurt would have phased him at that time... but the thought of MiMi being hurt, since he really did like her... Someone said it looked as if he might have been crying. Just the thought of someone else being hurt because of him might have been more than Travis could handle. He was a very caring person. I don't put it past JA telling him that she had hurt or killed Mimi or someone else in his family. I hope we someday know....

This may have already been addressed here but I haven't seen it so I've got to say, if the camera could have been set on a time delay, then why are there only photos of Jodi by herself and Travis by himself but none of the couple together doing all this kinky sex? You would think that Jodi would want photos of the "act" in order to use it effectively. Makes my wonder if she took her own photos by herself and then sneaked a few in of Travis without him knowing it.

idk - imo from the angle jodis pics are taken - above the bed i don't think there was any place to set up the camera like that - and it was pointed out that TA' shower pics he doesn't use soap or shampoo, it makes it look like she was "directing" in a photo shoot which enabled her to get him in that vunerable position sitting in the shower - and they said the camera was up side down on the floor for the accidental pics resting on the camera button, easy to set it off accidentally - imo

BBM, I respectfully disagree. I hate bringing up the awesome :puke: pics of her downunder, her anus is very much dialated, which usually means recent penetration. And very recent.

:blushing:

I think it's a reasonable conclusion that they were engaged in some kind of sexual activity together. They're both naked, within like one minute of each other, and he's laying there with a tub of lube next to him. In the pic where he's flashing the sign with his fingers, he is looking directly at the camera and looks pretty relaxed - not pissed or scared or surprised.

I also think the pics in the shower Travis was reluctantly posing at Jodi's suggestion. He does not appear to actually be washing anything, and that's an awful lot of turning around and different positions -- especially the pics of his back to the shower and arms against the back wall... that would not be a position he would normally be in while taking a shower.

I always thought he had a troubling expression in the last face pic, but reading that he told his roommate that he had not been able to sleep more than 45 minutes a night for a while -- he may have just been exhausted and that's why he looks the way he does in that pic.

I'd ask her how she managed to overpower or escape him to get her hands on any weapon. I'd want her, using a diagram, to detail the events from start to finish exactly what happened.

Then I'd use previous ninja story and forensics to crush her like a cockroach.

Oh,I did not forget. He proved nothing and had the jury followed their instructions they would have found her guilty. There was a lot wrong with that jury. For one thing they were all too much alike, not informed, homebodies and some were obviously enamoured by Ms. Anthony by their interviews afterwards.

He made up the accident story? Wouldn't that be a deliberate attempt to lie to the court? I don't believe he ever said it happened, only suggested it could have along with everything else. He snowed the jury and they bought it. Juries have to keep in mind they are only to consider what is in evidence, statements, etc. that are related to facts presented by both sides and not speculation. I would hope all jurors will have a clear understanding of that today and in the future.

Still upset that JB went with the drowning after putting poor Mr. Kronk and the TES volunteers through he!!. jmo
