This guy would fit right in in Iran.

Scroll down and read David's comments about a 12 year old girl.

I served on 2 civil case juries and we 'chose' the foreman right at the first part of the first deliberation. BOTH times a person volunteered to be the foreman and in one case it was fine in the other not so good. Instructions are great but on the 2nd case we had a woman who blatantly did not follow the instructions. Just because instructions are given, doesn't mean they will be followed.

I so agree with that statement about instructions. Many people feel they are special and are not included in laws or different sets of circumstances.

There have been quite a few women stabbing men shows on TV, I think on ID. One last night showed a woman who stabbed her man 27 times!!!! Another was a young female who stalked her man and ultimately committed murder/suicide!

I saw that one too, Isabelle. When they showed the stabbing, I was imagining Jodi's face.

Despite finding this case very interesting and being thankful for the massive and compelling incriminating evidence
against JA, I’m finding it difficult to justify the time and, no doubt, hefty expense associated with this trial
and am increasingly wondering why a plea agreement couldn’t have been reached.

? LWOP + some decent art supplies ?

I realize JA has the right to a trial but really?!?
The only thing JA didn’t provide was a video tape of the murder
– maybe the camera just needed one more kick or drop?

Pass the Cheetohs please. :D

This thing hasn't ended yet. Hate to say it, but the verdict could be surprising.

i think the PA believes it's a DP case they can prove. they're holding all the cards, IMO. no reason to make a deal with her.

Winning bid:
US $3,050.00
[ 26 bids ]

Look at the winning bid on this one, disgusting, the whole thing.

I did a paper once on Hitler's art work. His art work showed humans as very stiff. Not life like.

Look at the eyes on this. No life in them at all. They look like the eyes of a robot

I haven't had time to catch up on all of the posts yet, has anything been mentioned here about Matt McCartney's Myspace page yet?

I don't think a plea agreement was offered. I think the State sees her as "the worst of the worst", know they have a strong case and don't have anything to gain by offering this murderer any leniency.

What happened in the end of the second one? Didn't anyone stand firm and educate her?

2nd case was a wrongful death case. the judge asked all prospective jurors during the voire dire if any of us would have difficulty putting a $$ amount on a human life. we all said YES we could do that.
when we began deliberating, the foreman asked each of us to write down the $$ amount we would assign on slips of paper. then he wrote all the
figures on the whiteboard. one person had not submitted a figure. then we had to go around the table and say which number was ours and why we chose it. when we got to this woman,
about the 3rd juror, to justify number figures, she said she didn't write one down & could not put a price on a human life. I IMMEDIATELY spoke up and
said i thought the foreman should send a note to the judge NOW and say this woman can not follow his instructions. the foreman wanted to give her a chance to be "persuaded". so we continued for 2 hours. still she could not decide. so i asked her "what would help you decide then?". I
was quite annoyed with her as were several other jurors. i asked her why did she not say she can't assign a number to a life when the judge asked her. she had no answer. she finally came around with a number but had i been the foreman i would have notified the judge and not wasted time with this juror.

Yes, but with a strong possibility that the jury would/will choose LWOP over DP, what's the use? TIA

Frigga,
This is the one who supposedly saw the bruises and broken finger, right?

In the last pic of Travis, where he is sitting in the stall with his arms out and over his knees is the point where I think Jodi came in right under his right arm and plunged he knife into his chest.

To me whether she gets either one doesn't matter because she would most likely be there longer with DP than LWOP or just as long either way.

It is him, I am certain. Right age, location. He is in foodservice and has Jodi's little sister in his friends list. He has a photo posted of a view off the deck of Ventana- (I think thats the name)- a restaurant that I think JA used to work at.

Give me a minute to cut and paste two very interesting comments from his page- one from a "Jodi" with her tell tale smiley face at the end.

Be right back...
