I'm really concerned about the juror question about "Mr. Hughes."

OH, oh, Jurors question asked about Chris Hughs, IS, is asking how did the juror know about him, did the juror watch the hearing on TV yesterday.Yikes

  • #683
I asked the same thing earlier. Does anyone know if Hughes was ever brought up in this trial?

Rut roh.......someone may be called into the Judge's chambers.

But wasnt he mentioned as being over Travis's team?

I got the sense that he owns a spiffy large, long, and wide motor home, IN ADDITION to his bricks and mortar home. Sounded to me like he traveled between Las Vegas and OK to those PPL gatherings in his large, long, and wide motor home.

I don't think his motorhome (large, long, and wide) is his primary residence.

Nope, no compensation going on there.
:moo:

Speaking as if I was on the jury...

I think the PA made good points but I personally was uncomfortable that he was getting loud and hostile over what I thought was not really important testimony. GS met her only a couple of times at professional settings. Point could have been made without all the hype. Save the anger for really important testimony.

IMO

I agree with you to a point but all jurors are different and not all of them with appreciate how agressive he is.

Meh. Maybe, maybe not. Remains to be seen. But he (Juan Martinez) has done this a lot, and has had a lot of success, including with female death penalty. His questioning style is pretty well-known in the area.

No one is nodding off during his questioning, I promise you that. It will be interesting to hear from the jurors after this trial, for sure.

I'm having a bit if a problem. I had been watching on my ipad with ustream. There's been an update and I can't seem to find AZ family or AZ central.

Anyone having the same problem? Anyone have a suggestion for me?

I typed in azfamily.com in the search box and it loaded up ok for me.

Well, if you've seen Jodi's "parking spot" you know it will fit a large, long and wide "motor home."
I'm sorry, I couldn't help it.:great:

This is a little troubling -- the jury asked if Mr Hughes was one of Gus' earners or however you put it. How does the jury know anything at all about Mr Hughes? He has not been a witness and the jury is supposed to have not been exposed to any media about the case.

Gus testified the defendant was under Chris Hughes, the juror asked if Chris advised any of Guy's people.

IE why is this Gus guy mentoring one of Chris' people when Chris didn't mentor Gus' people.

I don't understand the point of that witness. This is the way the defense wants to start their case?

And I don't get why all the questions about PPL (by the jury)....

  • #693
They are asking about Mr. Hughes name being brought up in trial before on IS . . . . speculating a juror might have watched trial coverage yesterday

  • #694
Well, others here agree with me. And the experts on HLN agree with me.

Just my 2 cents.

You're point?

Opinions...yours, mine and everyone elses are of equal value.

The ONLY opinions that matter in this case is the 12 jurors that will decide it.

MY 25 cents... Inflation and all:)

pretty sure he said that Jodi was part of Mr. Hughes group (or whatever) during the testimony. other than that, I don't remember his name coming up ever before. will be interesting to hear it again now, just to see.

The prosecutor did a fine job with this witness who IMO is so slimy I can't help but wonder if someone didn't put some gum on the witness chair to keep him from sliding off.

GS didn't help anyone else out but he did help JA whom he met only a couple of times. Jury maybe wondering about that?

aaaaand let her stay in his mobile home for a couple of days

aaaaand gave her a cell phone

off topic but some of those rigs can cost $300G and up...

$300 is an economy model. There are diesel rigs up to $1 million. Very extravagant. I feel that he had a luxury rig in order to show off his wealth.
