We didn't expect to see some of Jodi that we did.
We saw her "garden", I'm being kind here, along with pics showing what she did to Travis - neither were pretty pics.

I think a lot of peeps are also incorrectly assuming dating = having sex with, automatically.

Agree same as cheating.....cheating doesn't have to be intercourse. Seems a juror was confused by that, glad they asked. Lisa said cheating, kissing or anything!

Hey...I just read up thread that you had some horrible storms. I hope all is okay. What state are you in? Hubby and I had to go to the basement at 4 in the morning this morning because we got some horrible weather too - 70 degrees yesterday to 28 last night.

Georgia. It was 80 here today and tomorrow it is to drop into the 30s. Its all the hot air colliding with the cold air. It has quitened down thank goodness and thank you for your post.

The reason I missed the last of Lisa's testimony is all heck was breaking loose in our backyard at the time. The wind probably got up to at least 60 MPH.

It could have been worse so we are thankful that we are ok.

Tina Ross, alleged close friend of Jodi's from high school, feels because Jodi looks depressed on tv, that she MUST have been abused. (Jodi's bff from high school might have been in all the remedial courses because she just isn't "getting it".) JVM should ask her if she graduated or was giving a certificate of attendance.

It's obvious to me at the end of the day that the defense has made no points towards their goal of portraying Travis as a nasty, bad-tempered, abusive man who lunged, naked and wet, out of the shower to kill Jodi because she dropped his new camera.

On the other hand, Travis was a man who respected others' boundaries and was willing to talk through differences. Thank you, Lisa.

Lisa gets a great big cyber-hug from me. I hope this is the last she has to do with the horrible death of someone she loved. I hope she can move on from the memories of having to testify for the defense.

As for Jodi, she wasn't able to let Travis go and knew how to manipulate him. Lisa's testimony, even without the accusation of stalking or anonymous e-mails, was able to show the jury how she intruded into Travis' life when she wasn't wanted anymore.

Kudos to the jury, whose questions finally aim towards the heart of the matter.

Why is he allowed to continue constructing this narrative that the witness keeps saying she doesn't remember?

I wondered that, too. Maybe she said these things in a police interview? I can't imagine it would be legal to just make things up.

That smirk when Lisa was talking about when she found out Travis was cheating on her with Jodi...I hope the jury saw that. She was pretty expressive today. She usually has that blank stare.

I personally want her to get the DP. LWOP would mean too many amenities for her - like seeing her girlfriend. I want her locked up and not have contact with anyone for the rest of her remaining life:

I am too, a bit, but I have a really difficult time picturing her putting up with a baby. I know her ex DB had a young son and he said JA was good with him, but I question how sane she would be with an infant born out of a desperate obsession.

eta- I'm probably giving her too much credit, she likely wouldn't think it through that well or far in advance.

I was away most of the day today, and thank you soooooooooooooo much to those that transcribe for us, to be put also in the long term thread! We had a couple of folks that did that for the FCA trial, and di it in bold green I remember so folks could scan just to see that vs. the fast moving thread which was faster even than here! Much faster!

Anyway, hats off to those that transcribe daily!

atthelake. . . . that was me . . . . I can try and remember to change my color to green for those who are skimming thru. Nursebeeme usually posts the transcripts in the trial documents and transcripts thread (see first page for links).

I would encourage everyone to read both KMouse and mine and any others who want to join in to help! Often times I will miss stuff - or have computer trouble (or trouble with the keys like today). . . . . it really helps when others are doing the same thing!
