It's a very big deal in the Mormon church. From what I have read, if you're not married by 31, you're kind of in la-la land, not fitting into the norms of the Mormon culture. I think it was important to TA for his image.

Secret Ceremonies is an interesting book to read

Defense gonna drag this out so they don't have to call Jodi today.

really!?! Guilting the witness.

Why is Jodi crying now upon seeing the picture of her victim?
I mean, she did say she did it, so she knows what she did to him.

:furious:
JMHO
fran

She's got a couple of kleenex there, but they are bone dry. There are no tears for anyone except herself. Her tears are as fake as her heart is black.

Ok now having seen her testify for both sides she's not comfortable testifying for Jodi.

Gawd. This lady defense attorney is like a YouTube video -- always.......... .... . . ....... buff..... fffffffffffffffff..................... ferring.........! She can't get a smooth moment going without following Lisa's emails for a rhythm.

I can't stand the sight of JA sobbing, what a farce.

This witness is adding more than just yes or no now on redirect. She's a little fired up.

IMO, Martinez needs to tone it down.. The jury probably likes this witness - she's sweet and seems nice - they're not going to like it if he comes across as a bully.

A bully to Lisa?

He isnt a bully to Lisa. In fact he has been in close contact with Lisa.

The fact remains Lisa would have never murdered Travis period. She still loves him as a person.

IMO

What pic did Juan show Lisa?

Clearly, which is why I thought it was appropriate for the defense attorney to ask leading questions.

Hmmm. Maybe that's why John Hepworth moved out of Travis' house?

What is DT doing? He didn't care for Jodi, but now he cared enough to chase her out the door? So, was he bad or good?

I truly RESPECT JM... but THAT was uncalled for. Also my GOD-- my heart is aching so bad for TAs family right now. This is too real.

Usually it's protocol to let the victims family know when autopsy/killing photos are going to be shown.

Not fair to the family, nor the witness -- since the picture was not allowed to be shown after the sidebar anyway.

Just MOO

You are not allowed to ask leading questions on direct or redirect only on cross or unless a witness is hostile.

ETA: The witness isn't being non responsive so she can't be considered hostile and before you can ask leading questions on direct you must first declare them hostile.

She's been using a tissue. The white thing in her hand. That she's been using to wipe her face. I believe she's gone through a couple.

She may be using a tissue to wipe her sweaty face but she ain't using it to dry her dead eyes.

I do think defendant was taken back, as she can see what she is in for if she ever took the stand.
