Excuse me he was on a mission during that time? A missionary isn't allowed to drive in a car with an unmarried woman on their mission. Nor are Mormon girls allowed to wear bikini's. Have you all seen the photos of Jodi on the Havasupai trip? Her scanty bikini with breast implants? Um- really?

Really, they can't even ride in a car with a single woman?

Daniel Freeman is a bit animated, banging his hands on the witness stand constantly.

Which home was this, Palm Desert?

Real bombshell! A horny, young man wanted sex and to talk about wanting sex!

Yes. Good thing he wasn't a young woman, though, or we'd all be using words like "🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬, 🤬🤬🤬🤬, Holland Tunnel, 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬, etc. ".

I did not ask for clarification on what is acceptable.
Yes I am free to call her a MURDERER tho I really don't need permission.
Having an objection to MY opinion is something you'll have to deal with as best you can.

DEFENCE CALLS DESIREE FREEMAN

--On the Grand Canyon trip Jodi wanted to take some photos and Jodi got upset that Travis parked the car too lose to the edge. When Jodi got out she took photos. Jodi went to get back in and Travis went to take off and when she got back in Travis made a remark that shocked Desiree, she says it "was over the top",, but she cannot remember it today.

REDIRECT
--re: first trip, is when Travis made the "over the top comment", Desiree remembers how the comment was made because the how was over the top.
--Desiree says that she knew that Travis wanted to bring Jodi.

Desiree probably has a good sense of what Travis said that was "over the top." He probably told Jodi something like, "I wish you would FALL into that canyon!"

I really dont understand this whole "hearsay" thing. If someone hears someone else say something, why cant that person tell what the other person said?

They heard it with their own ears for goodness sakes. I'll never understand it i guess.

Good grief. Where is this going? She can't get the witness to state that Travis abused Jodi.

:( Dunno. I admit, I had to put my computer on Mute during this gal's testimony. As a high school English & Speech teacher, I fought the urge to coach the poor girl on her diction, projection, and posture,,,,,,for starters. I am surprised that the DT did not prep this witness better for the stand.

What! What! What!!!!

Big cat person here, I never heard this story before....Where did this come from?

I was on the road most of the day dashing tornadoes, but my sister who has been watching the trial told me about it. I believe the lady who gave her the kitten told the story. I could be wrong about the date but the story is true. She did claim to take the kitten to the vet because it was shaking uncontrollably, the kitten died. I was very upset. I was looking to see if I could find the story but didn't see anything about it. My sister said the prosecution and defense didn't get into the story very deeply. So it may have been missed by many.

He's also an anomaly, though. He told us so himself. :floorlaugh:

I could knit you all hats while we wait for this witness to be asked something pertinent.

For what reason was the jury forced to hear 10 minutes of crap about the witness' first meeting with Jodi and all that other bs?

The judge should set a timer. If nothing relevant is said with the first few minutes, a trap door should open and the defense attorney should fall inside of it.
