Is there a list of witnesses for the Defense somewhere? Does anyone know who else will be testifying?

There's a domestic violence expert who will testify for the defense, her name is Alyce Laviolette, she also believes Snow White was a domestic violence victim.

They might have a computer forensics expert testify, perhaps about the phone sex recording JA made.

She made all of Travis friends her friends. Or at least tried to.

It is so weird how she just immersed herself in Travis's life. Where were her friends and family during all this, apparently no one ever met them. My mom would have a fit if I converted religions.

Last night on NG (I think) I believe it was Lisa Bloom or Stacy Honowitz who said that the defense attorney COULD NOT put Jodi on the stand because it would be suborning perjury. In other words, that attorney knows that Jodi is going to lie. (Also the reason Casey Anthony didn’t testify probably - but I digress). But they did say that if a defendant ABSOLUTELY INSISTS on testifying, the defense attorney will just put them up on the stand and let them talk, tell their story, but that the attorney will sit down and not ask any questions.

Boy howdy won’t THAT be fun if it happens?!!!!

we don't know what story jodi told her attys - they are her second set - she could have told them the self defense story only

By the time JA gets on the stand (if) and says he is abusive, the defense will have already interviewed half a dozen witnesses who said he wasn't abusive and that they can't remember him hitting ANYTHING, let alone a person. I have never seen anything like this....

I can't wait to hear the questions the jurors will have for Jodi if and when she takes the stand!

I've seen some pics of Travis where he is really smiling. There's a pic of him and Lisa where he looks gleefully happy. JMO, he didn't seem to be as happy around Jodi in many of the pics.

Good questions. Women hold lots of leadership positions in the church. Often, women are thought of as naturally being more spiritual by nature. Just what I have seen- not speaking for the church, of course.

In this case, I think JA was good at reading what different people wanted her to be. I think this young man was taken in by her personality and her expressed interest in changing her life, etc. I think he was probably disappointed that Travis didn't hold the line more so JA would have a fair chance to change her life. KEY: Remember, this young man has not heard the other testimony yet. He is also not watching the media. He still has no clue of all we have seen and heard. I believe it will be a surprise to him when/if he hears the other testimony at a later date.

Any of the lawyers have an opinion as to the attire of a defendant when they take the stand? Will it matter that Jodi is dressed in black today? Would that indicate that she may or may not be taking the stand? Thanks in advance!

I believe Martinez knows that the jury is "getting this" and is "allowing" them to ask these questions. JMO

Well, we already know he referred to her as a "three hole wonder" so saying he wasn't with her isn't much of a surprise. Question is, why would she just sit around and accept that kind of treatment? Maybe she was keeping score until she hit the magic number of insults and really got even.......

You would think that during a very big thing in your life such as converting to a different religion and being baptised that family and friends would be there.

I think Jodi sucked Daniel into thinking she was his friend just so she could use him for information about Travis. It was just one of her ways of staying close to Travis when he had kicked her to the curb.

I think this so far has been a productive day, based on the jury' questions.

The def is furiously convincing the jury that j & t didn't get along at times, but he never was abusive either with words or actions. But j has a habit of getting upset and reacting by running away. She also went to his friends and their families and told them all her and T's business. (seriously, who does that?)

We also learned that t was no match for ('experienced w/sex' )defendant, based on her previously living with a man. T who was trying to go by the laws of his church of chastity. T had chaperones on their dates and even at home, ie a roommate. But we also know that j drove to his house and stayed there when there were no roommates present, then she lied about it, then she killed him and went on her merry way to be with another man.

I think I've got this straight.
