Does anybody recall if NayNay's car got stuck in the sand by the church in San Mateo by Amber (allegedly) before or after Feb. 9/10?

I watched the video I posted again (p. 13) and I am not seeing a broken drivers side mirror. A headlight is said to be broken, though.

Also, did anyone notice the white full size-van parked in front of the blue mini-van? IIRC Tommy was working at the time Haleigh went missing and there is the video of him with Misty showing him her engagement ring-she puts her hand on his chest and he looks down at it. He is wearing clothes that look to be paint or drywall mud spattered-I am wondering who his employer was at that time and if the van could possibly belong to his employer?

Hank sr owned his own drywall company. At one time both sons worked with him. I have no idea who for or where Tommy was working.

Bumping.

Wasn’t it Amber’s car that had something spilled in the trunk? Something like a green fluid. I remember hearing that the car was just parked and left for junk. This was around the time that the pond was drained. So we have numerous vehicles that were damaged, as a matter of fact the only ones who didn’t report a damaged vehicle were GGS and TN.

Could this have started out to be insurance fraud?

How to put this.......politely, I doubt these cars had insurance. KWIM?

It was NayNay's car (Amber did not have a car to my knowledge) and NayNay said Amber had poured something in the trunk and threw the contents of the trunk on the ground.

Misty's clothes were in the trunk & Amber poured some green liquid over them & threw them out. Another childish revenge thing. And why were Nay's car keys found near the San Mateo search site? Was Amber all ticked off at both Misty & Nay (for helping Misty)? If she dumped stuff on the clothes, threw them out, and then tossed the keys--why? Was that all revenge? And that suitcase found at the search site--with the bus schedule inside--was that Misty's as well?

This thread has really got me thinking that Hank Sr's accident may have some indirect connection to Haleigh. We have a man with a leg very badly broken leg and a wrecked car belonging to his son. We can find no newspaper articles referring to this "wreck". It was stated that a drunk driver with no insurance hit him. If they know the driver has no insurance, then they know who it is. And yet, no reported accident that we can find, no lawsuit? There are only a couple reasons I can think of for that to occur. The other driver is being protected, there was no other car and HC Sr is being protected, or there was no car accident and the car was wrecked on purpose to explain the leg.

1. First scenario: Could RC have been the other driver if he was drunk and/or high and out looking for Misty? Did Misty talk them into not telling because she loved RC--might also be leverage to get him to marry her.

2. Second scenario: Hank Sr is drunk and/or high and just plain screws up and wrecks.

3. Third scenario: The helping get Nay Nay's car out of the sand thing I posted earlier.

All something to think about.

I wonder what Nay's car was doing in San Mateo. Is that where Amber lives?

Out of the three girls, Amber knows Haleigh the best as she was with rc for about two years prior and has been around Haleigh the most.

Ron did not like Nay. That would be a good one to try and figure out. Nay also had no use for ron either. Bad Blood there. I imagine Amber had no use for misty at all. How these three got together for the weekend is beyond me. Why did amber need to use Nay's car...and why did she need to go in the trunk and spill green fluid (Coolant?). Perhaps she recognized misty's clothes but that is anyone's guess. Was the fluid spilled to cover up something else?

Was Haleigh in Nay's car/trunk at some point on monday. Did the car get damaged on monday? Did misty, nay or Amber have any involvement with disposing of Haleigh?
I can't imagine Amber being involved with it but strange things happen in this case.

IMHO..LE needs to be focusing on what happened to Haleigh from the time she got off that school bus until the time Misty claims she put her to bed...
And IF LE knows and has proof she was not at school that day then they should arrest Misty who has stated she took her in to her classroom and Ron C who has stated he picked up from the bus stop..To be perfectly honest they should have hauled them both in eleven months ago considering all the lies they have both told since day one......JMO

doobie, I don't think too much about this accident, or I guess I should say about the fact that there doesn't seem to be any lawsuit going on anyway. If the other driver had no insurance (although I'm still not clear whether this was a hit and run or not..and if it was, how they know whether the driver had ins. or not :waitasec:) anyway if there was no insurance then there is no insurance company to sue and dollars to donuts the other driver has no money either. My son in law is a personal injury attorney (yes, an ambulance chaser in a sense, lol..but a great guy!) and of course he knows nothing about this case, but when I asked him about this in a general sense..he just said that no attorney would take a case like this without being paid up front, where they are usually paid on a contingency basis. There just is no monies to be recovered... IDK, jmho ..:)

If r & m are involved in Haleigh demise, how does the weekend fit in?

Other than physical and mental debilities due to drugs, alcohol, I can't think of anything tying in with the weekend that involves these two people.

Something tells me these families had some not-so-friendly run ins with eachother and possibly other members of the community over the course of the few days leading up to Haleighs disappearance and LE may think this is connected somehow. I'll bet HCsr's accident was related. He claims it was a hit and run but yet somehow knew the guy was drunk and didn't have insurance.

Maybe none of these people are directly at fault with what happened to Haleigh, but because of the reckless and volatile actions caused whatever to happen.

JMO, of course

Who knows, with all the craziness and chaos that seems to possibly have been going on around the time of Haleighs disappearance, maybe none of them actually know what happened. Those days seem to be filled with drugs, alcohol, fighting, deadly weapons, road rage, car accidents and violence.

I know that this business about law suits may be off topic, Personally I think it’s just disgusting that people actually stage accidents that in reality are their fault to try and recover damages and money (now that the economy is bad it’s going on even more).

I have read that this isn’t unusual for the Cumming’s and Croslin’s. That they have sued stores for accidents. I don’t know if it’s true…but trying to piece together how Ron’s knuckles were beat up, if Misty was “man handled or however you want to say it”, the damage to the van, the damage to Nay Nay car, Hank’s broken leg..

What we do know, WBG and Misty plus Nay were off for a wild weekend.
Misty went to her brother or was it both Timmy and Tommy, for help.
Misty was actually gone on Wednesday or Thursday before Haleigh went missing.
Hank was in the accident (When, Where, Who), yep this is a blank space…I’m surprised it has been glossed over so far.

Have we seen the bus driver and the teachers interviewed? I would like to hear from them about their day on Monday Feb 9. What time did Haleigh arrive? RC says he was outside of the car waiting because he stated haleigh "Jumped" into his arms.'

If rc is lying about this, then makes everything he has said a complete lie. Why wouldn't LE pressure him on that point, if they knew for sure he wasn't there? Pretty obvious they can't account for his departure from work, if that occurred but they sure as heck could have had a field day if he didn't pick up Haleigh....just don't get it! I realize now they can't do anything about his lies because rc has an attorney but they sure could have got him in the first few days.

The principal was interviewed and written about the weekend of Valentine's, iirc. Very heartwrenching, imo.

"....We wonder, understandably, how Haleigh’s absence affects the other children in her class. But imagine being Haleigh’s teacher.

“It has been heart-wrenching for her,” Buckles said, “because she’s looking at an empty seat all day.”

Imagine trying to do your job with one empty seat. Imagine doing all the ordinary things that don’t seem so ordinary. Imagine watching 17 children exchange Valentine’s Day cards. Imagine collecting a pile for one who is missing.

Imagine next Tuesday.

Class picture day."

I don't know LF,..if there was a serious injury as Hank claimed, wouldn't that drunk driver be in jail? I would think Hank would still press charges regardless if he has insurance or not..no?

Yes, the other driver would have been arrested but I'm not sure HankSr's name would appear on any of the charges. Def a crime vs. the State if a traffic violation.

As far as a lawsuit --- personal injury attys work on a % basis. If there's no $$$ to get, who would bother?

I realize what you guys are saying and I agree about the money. I guess I never thought it was for the money. I just meant there's something goofy about an accident that we find no record on. That was my point---another hinky thing about the whole mess.

Well, I gotta agree with you on that point, doob. I remember way, way back when we viewed one of his daughters' mysp msgs. She wrote about his injury but she didn't mention a word about the wreck. [Or maybe I just wasn't paying attn to the Croslins back then.]
