Do we have any points that we can agree on yet?

Misty:

Home
Not home

MH:

staged
not staged.

I'll take anything..... :woohoo::woohoo:

Bern......lol. Were you really hoping to get confirmation that there are points we agree on? Good luck with that one sista.

Well, we are fortunate right now to have another 911 call made from Misty, in the heat of a panic, she got robbed, she was traumatized- When a human being, a little child goes missing, she is pretty calm, listen to her voice when she asks about the numerical number in the address, it totally throws her off, I am sure she had been going over possible questions they may ask her when she did call 911- and when shes asked something shes not prepared for, imo, you can really tell-

This is just a huge staged hoax and has been from the get go-

jmo

I understand and agree with your description of how Misty's voice and tone changed when asked about the numerical. She sounded quite surprised by that question. And, her tone and voice also changes to something very different when she breaks away from talking to 911 and asks Ron "What's her birthdate?"
In her 911 call about reporting Haleigh missing, Misty sounds so unsure of herself as she relates what's happened. In her 911 call about the robbery, she sounds more anxious but also doesn't hesitate. It sounds as if she knows exactly what she's talking about and readily tells what went down. I find the difference between the two 911 calls to be remarkable.
But that's just what I hear.

(bbm) :biglaugh: bern you're too funny... :blushing: sorry friend just trying to get the visual, Misty growing daffodils, cooking w fresh parsley, sage, rosemary and thyme (gonna burst into song here) lol!!!

:parrot:

 The visual just will not come into focus...............LOL.

The fact is, at first glance the inside door would have also had to have been propped open so she could have seen the "bricked" door- I mean its going to be just as alarming to see that door open as the other one-

You are absolutely right. In order for Misty to have noticed the screen door was "bricked" the solid door would have to also been open. No getting around that.

Bern - I believe Misty was home and asleep just like she said. The primary reason is that NO ONE has come forward to say that MC was with them that night and the people she hangs out with have absolutely no reason not to rat her out. Heck they are all jail birds and would turn in their mothers if it meant a get out of jail card. There is no loyalty amongst her and her friends. I feel the exact same way about her family - they would hang her out to dry if it could help them in their own criminal matters. She even told us "that's the way my family is". Since every one of her buddies has blabbed to AH and others about MC's weekend exploits and were quite eager to tell the story, I just don't see them covering for her for that night. There isn't anything in it for them.

I don't believe the MH was staged. Why? Simple. The rear door was the least likely point of entry - difficult to jimmy. The front door would make much more sense as a set up, given the whole scene of the brick, the door wedged open with clothes (if that part is true), the lack of forced entry, the fact that only RC has a key to the door etc. etc. A more believable set-up would be to rip a screen and stage a window break-in, or the front door which didn't have all the issues that come with the side door. Furthermore, the freaking kitchen light. It was not on when Tommy came by (if he did) and the house was dark and quiet. There is no point in MC adding the kitchen light to the story.

I would like to know one thing. When MC woke up, RC wasn't there. He was usually home a bit after midnight I suppose, but the opportunity for some overtime arose at what we are told was at the end of his shift. So, when she awoke at 3-ish and there was no RC, she didn't have any idea of where he was. But, she never said, "I woke up and RC wasn't in the bed and it was 3 am and he should have been home and I went to look for him and found the back door open". In other words, she should have been curious as to RC's whereabouts too since she didn't know about his overtime. She called him right away, but never mentioned her surprise that he wasn't home yet. Maybe she did mention this to LE, who knows.

BUT, if she didn't know that he was working OT before she went to sleep, would she just pick "3" out of the air? No, she would have started this alleged staging, waking up with the lights on and calling for RC event much earlier in the evening. Like right before midnight when he normally gets off from work.

Agreed, I also think this may be why she thought Haleigh was with him. She woke and they were both not there.

Thanks. He was born 1976 and his offence dates from 1995. He would have been eighteen.
The crime is described as
SEX BAT/INJ NOT LIKELY; F.S. 794.011(5) (PRINCIPAL)
Gender:Female Minor:Yes

Does anyone understand the legalese? Is this the sort of charge you'd get if he's just another guy with an underage girlfriend whose parents objected, or could it be something more heinous?
He's not listed as a predator.

Agreed, I also think this may be why she thought Haleigh was with him. She woke and they were both not there.

I'm unaware of Misty ever giving the explanation that she thought Haleigh was with Ron when she woke up. She saw three, saw the light, got up to go to the bathroom but didn't make it to the bathroom, saw the back door open and ran to get her phone to call Ron. But before she called Ron she turned and saw Haleigh wasn't there.

Then Ron returned home and was surprised to be met at the door by Misty who said to him "The backdoor is open and your daughter is gone."

So.....None of that, from either of them, suggests she ever thought Haleigh was with Ronald.

True, I just wonder if it was a "fetish" that has grown in him as he aged and he acted out on it. Especially since he lived in the mobile home and knew the layout etc.
ETA: Just a huge co-incidence that he is a SO AND lived in the home Haleigh was taken from. IMO

curve, you have mentioned something that I thought I was dreaming I heard. Was it Misty that said "Is Haleigh with you" did she ask Ronald that when he pulled in....and did we hear this from Ronald or Misty? I thought I remembered Ronald telling NG that Misty asked him that when he pulled in that night.

The thing is, if Misty thought Ronald was only working until 12, or whenever his normal hours were, rather than the later 3 am shift, it would make sense that she would ask him that question because he would have been home and then perhaps went back out again. Just thinking out loud here.

And in her LVA account, or was it the hypnosis, or maybe both, she says she starts freaking out right away when she notices the lights on and the back door open, before she saw that Haleigh was gone. It makes no sense for her to freak out about the lights and the door if she thought Ron was home.

It also makes no sense for her NOT to think that Ron was home because he was expected to get home about that time. When my DH works late and I wake up to see lights on, I don't think OMG an intruder, I think great, he's home already.

I think in these recent tests Misty may have unwisely added commentary that she thought would be appropriate under the circumstances that she was explaining. Not needed in my opinion and so was she lying to impress or seem more believable? If that was the case it's no wonder the tests came back with deception.

I see what you are saying but if we believe that Misty truly did see 3 on the display and that was it... there is a chance she didn't know it was 3 something and not 12 something with a three in it. She said she woke from a sound sleep and got up, went to go to bathroom, saw the light so exited bedroom, etc....

she says she went back into the bedroom to get her phone after she saw the open door to call Ronald and THAT is when she noticed Haleigh was gone. Ronald didn't answer the phone so she asked him if Haleigh was with him. I have to see if i can find that transcript of when Ronald was on NG. I think thats what it was.

On second thought, does it matter if she thought it was 3:00 or 12:03? Didn't someone say that Ron didn't know that he was going to be working overtime until quite late? Misty had her phone shut off so she wouldn't have known about the change in Ron's schedule, would she?

Right, she wouldn't have known. I don't think we know if anyone knew that Ronald was working that extra time that night. There might be a chance that when Ronald called the Croslin's after Misty wasn't answering her phone that night, that he might have told them he was asked to work the extra time but he couldn't get a hold of Misty to tell her. I don't know though.

I am trying to look for that NG transcript.

It's here elle

Snip~Vieira asked Misty, who wore a T-shirt with Haleigh’s picture on it to the TODAY set, to revisit the events that led to her calling 911 shortly before 3:30 a.m. on Feb. 10.

“I put her to bed at 8 o’clock,” Misty Cummings said. “I was washing our blankets, and after that was done, I put her blanket over her. She was sleeping when I put her blanket on her. She was in her bed, and it was about 10 o’clock. I finally laid down and went to sleep. I woke up at 3. I got up to use the bathroom, and I noticed the kitchen light was on. I walked through the kitchen, and that’s when I noticed the back door was open. So I run back to my bedroom to get my phone to call Ronald. That’s when I noticed Haleigh was gone.”

Elle this is from Dot'sEyes transcript of the hypnosis session:

What was she wearing?
She was wearing her pink Hannah Montana shirt and her underwear. She had shorts on but she took them off. She don’t like to sleep in clothes at all, she hates clothes, wants to strip all the time and be in her underwear. And probably it took 30 minutes for it to wash and probably like 60 minutes for it to dry and as soon as that was done, I got in my pajamas um and I laid down on the bed. And I remember I was halfway asleep and I remember Jr. getting up and going over me and was out the bedroom door. And then when I woke up and he was on one side of me but he was moved to the other side of me and that is when I woke up and noticed that the light was on in the kitchen, so I went to the kitchen and I seen the back door was open so I started freaking out about the back door. So I ran to my bedroom and got my phone and then um I tried to call Ronald he didn’t answer, well before I called Ronald, I turned around, while I was grabbing my phone, I turned around and saw that Haleigh was gone and I tried calling over and over again, I was freaking out, looking under beds, in closets, everywhere and screaming her name. Bubba’s up at that time and he’s freaking out too. That’s when I opened the front door and Ronald was pulling up and I asked him “do you have Haleigh? Do you know where Haleigh is?” And he was like “what do you mean?” And I’m like “Haleigh’s gone.” And we looked and searched and we couldn’t find her. And that’s it.
