This is off topic but I am not sure where to add this. I am sorry if this is the wrong place.

I would love to know if anyone followed the Trenton Duckett Case and if you find any facts similar to this case?

In Misty's calls #8 - Misty is talking to her brother Timmy on the phone and asks if they will get on her myspace and tell all her friends to write to her.
She says her password is trenton1 and then says you know Trenton like the Duckett case.

This is very concerning to me- I did not follow the Trenton Duckett case, but why would Misty's password have to do with another missing child from Florida?

I have read that, but never heard it. Anybody got a link? tia

I listened to the tape, and she repeats Trenton about 3 times before she says, "Trenton, like Trenton Duckett". (Have y'all noticed? Timmy don't hear so well. Seems Tommy got all the ears in the family.) Anyway, it's possible she used TD's name as a reference to help Timmy understand and "her" Trenton is someone altogether different. IDK, but I try to least consider the simplest explanation before I jump to conclusions.

So now I can jump. TD's father visited Ron back in August. I thought I remembered that but wasn't sure. So I searched and found a link to an article where the visit is mentioned.

Also, I *kinda* recall Misty mentioning TD in an interview or posting about him on her MS. Seems like this was discussed a long time ago. Or is it deja vu? :waitasec: I'll search a little more.

Searched downstairs and found a rumor thread where a poster mentioned seeing a photo of Misty sitting with a group that included TD's grandmother and other family members of missing children (CA was there). TD's sister, his father's child with a different mother born after Trenton disappered, was sitting next to Misty. Do you remember the discussion, Maven?

Ramsay, the rumor threads are closed now and we're not supposed to bring quotes from down there. I'm sure it's okay to mention it, but I can't provide the link. I think this explains Misty's connection to TD, though. Unless someone else knows of another connection.

Also, there were similarities in the two cases that led some to speculate there was a connection. Both taken from their beds in pajamas. TD lived in Leesburg; Ron might've lived there once with Crystal.

TN also lived in Leesburg. I think rc if he lived with her there, it may have been during the time she was with her husband for the year (2000-2001). IIRC, rc was supposed to have graduated from high school there. I would love to see his grad PIC...

I don't think RC hurt his daughter that night. But a lot of the clues point to ToC. Can't wait to hear what what was in the letter he wrote to his wife.

I don't think Tommy hurt Haleigh. What clues point to him? I can see Tommy helping with the cover-up or disposal of the body, but not harming her. jmo

What could possibly point to Tommy is that a red pickup was seen in the area and he admits to being there that night. The story of no one home, all the lights, and no sounds at 10:00 - 10:30 don't add up because it's unlikely that Misty would have turned all lights off if she and the kids left and wouldn't have been sitting around in the dark if she were there at 8:30 and no tv's on for the kids. He knows about bricking doors, is said by neighbors to have been wandering around at night, might have entered the homes of sleeping people, and his clothing fibers, fingerprints, and hair would be expected to be found in the mobile home. Finally, Jr. says that a man dressed all in black took Haleigh.

IMO...The suppliers were Hank St. & Lisa....

I think DB had one, MC got one of her own from the dentist and there were some military vets who were also selling half their prescription,, my opinion also, including of course HC and LC as well.

I agree...I think he was so addicted at the time; he would do ANYTHING for cash.

Again, why would Tommy hurt Haleigh? I just don't get it. Again, cover-up, disposal...perhaps. However, he had no reason to hurt or kill Haleigh. jmo

Then why would TJr go walking out in the woods behind The Hideaway? (or The Oasis --- right off-hand, I don't remember which bar it was.) And why did Ron and Misty take the u/c all the way over to Palatka? Not just in town, on the whole other side of town at McDonald's and AutoZone [per NG]. From grAnnie's house that's a good 30 minute drive each way.

Just wondering why they would have that u/c fella drive all over Putnam County if they were getting the drugs out of their own house on Tyler.

IIRC, they didn't swing by a DR's office nor a pharmacy and there aren't any near the locations that have been in the incident reports.

IMO Doctor shopping is one way to acquire prescription pills & probably liquid pain killers.
One can go to the doctor (or many doctor's) and complain of pain, recieve a script. I think all of these people have done just that. Including the grandmother's, they took them for the pain or sold them off if they didn't really need or weren't into that type of pill.
I also believe I heard that they smoked weed.......they partied, and I don't think it was only with script pills. At some point or another they were into whatever kind of a high they could get, afford or sell some of and take a pinch (cut) of.
Script pills are one of many ways to deal in drugs.

I am convinced that there are other drug dealers in their circle of acquaintances......pot, coke, heroin, acid, mushrooms....you name it!
The dealers get bigger and more powerful as you go up the scale, "chain of comand"
I just think it is very possible Ron owed big money, and someone was tired of waiting for payment, or heartless & cruel enough to take Haleigh....

I also thing the RSO or (unregistered SO) theory may be true.....

Actually, Tommy returned empty handed from his walk into the woods by The Oasis. An hour later, after several phone calls, a white male driving a black Chevrolet truck registered to an owner in East Palatka delivered the drugs to him near the Auto Zone and McDonald's on Reid in Palatka, which he in turn sold to the UC. But you're right, LF. They traipsed all over town scoring drugs for the UC, but none of the exchanges occurred anywhere near Tyler St, though one did take place near GGS's house at 2nd and Oak. IMO- their suppliers were anyone in the area getting them and selling them. It actually isn't that hard to getthem and some people make a sort of "living" off of it. Not only that, but they can find someone selling them cheaper than they can sell them for and make a profit, plus take what they want and still make money. Just like any other drug.

I still think Ron had something to do with what transpired that night/morning. And I am SURE he went to work- how else would he have an alibi? LE has said they were satisfied with SOME hours, but we don't know what hours those are. The whole period he claims or just the work shift or what. Besides, if he had nothing to do with it and neither did Misty, then why wouldn't he have said SOMETHING by now when he claims he would KILL the person who has to do with the disappearance of his "heart"? Instead he marries the last person known to be with her.

I know, I know. We've been over and over all of this. But these few simple things stick with me. I am sure there are others involved, but these 2 are at the core.

After hearing this, I suspect if Ron did drive out of his way the morning of Feb 9th like Misty said he did on her LVA test, his motive was drug-related and not daughter-related.
