'They Haven't Even Found Caylee's Clothes,' Anthony Says #2

  • #121
Not knowing the full context of the statement, but what if she was really saying they haven't found her "CLOSE", (not clothes) as "i can feel she is close"?

What about the clothes, I think it was a bathing suit of some kind of Caylee's, that one of her guy friends had in a bag that KC had left at his place, or was I dreaming?? Didn't he return them to CA?

Yes. That was Chris S. that brought those to CA. That relationship is a bit curious. Kind of OT, but she was it his house around the same time of Caylee's death and she calls him twice from jail. Things that make you say hmmmmmmmm....

I am a 'virgin' poster-so be kind...
I had a question--when my kids were this age-they were usually on a fairly consistent schedule for napping. Has it been posted anywhere what Caylee's daily routine was? Did she nap during the day? Most kids that age (IMO) would nap around 1-4...just curious-how this would fit into what Casey would do during the day-would she leave Caylee somewhere to nap?

Well, this is something she is not talking about. Many think KC let the baby "nap" in the trunk of the Pontiac. Personally, I don't think that Caylee had a schedule other than whatever mommy wanted to do with her at the moment. It seems no one knows what she was doing when she "went to work" everyday.

Yes, after KC's first arrest, when the A's had a group hug at their home with KC's friends, one male friend returned some swim wear that had been left at his house. One thing was a floatie-jacket thing that was too small for Caylee.
IIRC this was the same guy that KC visited in his home for a few hours one evening while TL was out of town.

Possibly so.

I have always doubted GA's "story" of seeing Caylee on 6/16 - his interview was in August - KC's statement was on 7/16, I believe @ 1am.

I'm sure KC/CA/LA all gave GA the "script" (on 7/16, prior to KC being arrested) relative to his last sighting of Caylee statement, as well as programming him to recite the same clothing description given by KC in her initial written statement. They match way too perfectly!

Would've loved to be a fly on the wall for THAT rehearsal/dry run!

Me too! Doubting GA's story of seeing KC and Caylee on 6/16/08. UNBELIEVABLE!!! WHO can remember what any member of their family was wearing exactally ONE MONTH AGO??? Nobody, that's who. Total BS!

At this one--- http://www.wesh.com/news/18009037/detail.html :

Anthony blurted out "They haven't even found the clothes she was wearing" about those searching for Caylee.

That investigator called Anthony’s comment "an important statement." So does Padilla.

"Everything's been a game to her. That statement they haven't even found the clothes yet leads us to believe the clothing were somewhere but not in proximity of the body," Padilla said.

So which statement did KC say? they haven't even found the clothes yet or
They haven't even found the clothes she was wearing--- there is a difference. Can't wait to see Tracey's interview.

Baez Wants To Block More Information In Anthony Case
Attorney Files Motion To Keep Bounty Hunter Interviews Out Of Public Eye
POSTED: 5:22 pm EDT July 16, 2009
UPDATED: 5:35 pm EDT July 16, 2009

ORLANDO, Fla. -- Casey Anthony's defense team filed a flurry of court papers Thursday afternoon.

In one of them, attorney Jose Baez is trying to keep more information out of the public eye.

Baez wants to keep police interviews of bounty hunter Leonard Padilla from being released. One of those employees is particularly important -- the woman who spent more than a week with Anthony when Padilla posted her bond last August.

Anthony is in the Orange County Jail. She is charged with first-degree murder in the death of her daughter, Caylee. Caylee's remains were found in a wooded area off of Suburban Drive near the Anthony family home last December.

In the motion, Baez argues that Padilla and his staff were working for him last August when they bailed Anthony out of jail so their statements to the police about what they heard from Anthony are privileged and should not be made public.

While she was out of jail and Caylee was still missing, Anthony allegedly blurted out, "They haven't even found the clothes she was wearing." In November, Padilla confirmed the statement.

"Everything's been a game to her...to lead us to believe the clothing was somewhere but not in the proximity of the body," Padilla said.

For more than a week, Padilla's employee Tracy McLaughlin essentially babysat Anthony in the Anthony home.

Padilla's employees routinely drove her to and from Baez's office. Padilla said Anthony was plenty chatty.

"She would drop little statements when she was being driven back when she was with Tracy," Padilla said.

What else Anthony may have told McLaughlin and other employees remains a mystery.

McLaughlin to this point has maintained a very low profile and turned multiple down interview requests.

Baez filed the motion now because the statements from Padilla and his employees were due to be part of an evidence release from the state attorney's office later this month.

Since Jose's motion claims LP and Co. were working for him, does anyone have any idea if these interviews will be released ?

I wanna see the privacy agreement documentation and/or any payment agreement  cause I certainly don't remember Leonard talking about it at all. He didn't even like JB. Besides, Leonard sure was talking for months before Caylee was found and JB said absolutely nothing about that. Can't have your cake and eat it to JB. Seems Leonard and his team do have pertinent info about KC's ramblings.

States here in post #53:

As to who contacted Leonard I cannot say. I do know that Leonard has had contact with the defense attorney Mr. Baez. Our original plans were to come out undisclosed. I was putting all the paperwork together for the bond and Leonard was putting everything in motion to get the bond posted.

7/16/2009 A BRIEF IN SUPPORT OF DEFENDANT'S MOTION TO BAR PRIVILEGED TESTIMONY OF MR. LEONARD PADILLA, MR. TONY PADILLA, MS. TRACY MCLAUGHLIN, & MR. ROBERT DICK. EXHIBIT A (PRIVACY AGREEMENT) ATTACHED.

Apparently, there is some kind of agreement attached (exhibit A) to this motion. It will be interesting to see what LP has to say about this!:)

Wonder if he'll ever get around to being deposed by Morgan.
