Okay. We all agree the baby is alive or we wouldn't be here. Lets think of ways to find her. The one thing we know for sure is she was healthy and well on 6/15 at noon. Then what has been established beyond rumor and leaks?

I think it doesn't hurt to get posters to Puerto Rico... like it has already been done in Texas, Georgia, New Mexico, and Florida. I find it odd the family brought up Puerto Rico, in which Casey's friend A (that Ca stole from) was vacationing in Puerto Rico. Maybe not, since a lot of FL residents are from there. Because of Ca's friend in the service; I think California should be looked into as well. I can take care of that. I will look into Puerto Rico.

I'm not sure on a theory yet, but this one keeps sticking with me for some reason. This is why she is quiet and won't talk because she is afraid they will do something to Caylee. That has been stated a few times by GP's "that she is afraid that someone will hurt her".

What worries me is that if Casey thinks the people who have Caylee will hurt her, then they can't be good people. She can't be being treated right - I don't even want to think about that. At this point, I think she has nothing to lose by being completely honest. I feel they are going to charge her no matter what - this has gotten to big. I thought I heard someone close to the family say that she would stay in jail forever to protect Caylee but in this case, I don't think Caylee would be better off staying w/ people who would hurt her. As sad as it is (especially since simple dishonesty is not a crime) I think she needs to be honest to save both of their lives.

I honestly don't know what happened to her, but I just want her found. The behavior from everyone in this case including LE and the lawyer, they release certain things but wont confirm the important stuff, the family doesnt seem to be looking , LP comes in with his 2 cents, who the h*ll knows. What I do know is any one person that comes on the news or a show and gives info sounds very believable. Maybe I am just gullable. Maybe people make you see what they want you to see, everyone is biased one way or another. My belief that she was dead was always that it was accidental. what I really want is for casey to talk and make me believe her.

Yes, it is completely frustrating... for those involved and for those of us who feel drawn to this case. I participated in putting up posters for Madeleine and spread the word on the net -like many many other people here in the USA did. Hopefully more and more people will do that for Caylee.

I agree, she has nothing to lose, but I think she is scared to say anything. I would secretly say something and let the police handle it from there, but she doesn't trust anyone to tell which is very sad.

Katie, do you think she is scared that the baby would be hurt or of disappointing her family or both. I watched the bond hearing testimony today and she showed so very much emotion when her parents and brother were called.

Yes there are people that believe that, you may want to check the other threads on this board with nearly the same subject line.

eta: they may be on the second page now, but you can use the search feature too and it will pull them up. Hope this helps!

I know that the sighting at the airport on July 2nd was dismissed, but I have always wondered about that. I know that they only had two kids noted, but the witness said that she was sure she was on that flight. The two kids that they said were listed as passenger and lap child weren't the same ages as the little girl they talked to that day. Now I know that when I have traveled with my girls as lap children that they never checked birth records or anything. If she was on that flight, then she may have not been listed at all.

FYI, sightings outside of the state would fall under FBI jurisdiction, and we have seen nothing about what they have or have not done with regard to this.

I agree that Cindy adored her granddaughter and it is just a shame that she didn't take her away from Casey. I'm sure Cindy thinks about that all the time.

h.
However, the chloroform searches on the computer is odd. It won't be so odd, if the searches were done after the family was told chloroform was found. who knows...

Hey beetrue, the reason LE tested for chloroform is because of what the computer specialist found. What I mean is, computer forensics found the searches for chloroform on casey's laptop and that is what prompted them to test for chloroform.

The laptop with the chloroform searches was taken when Casey was first arrested and is still with LE.

I think she is scared that someone will hurt Caylee, but I think she is also afraid of letting her family down. She has a lot to live up too.

Someone sent me an email, and I apologize that I cannot find it now regarding Cindy posting tips for us to follow up on or help on. Cindy emailed me and cannot post names and addresses for safety reasons. I've asked her to pass along any info that would not include that that can be helpful. I'll keep you posted.

I was one of the people that sent you an email.

Anything she can give us would help. She might not be able to give real names and addresses, but perhaps she could give enough of a hint(nicknames, initials, myspace info, narrow down the area more, etc) that we could use our sleuthing skills and go from there.
I just don't understand how anyone is going to find a live Caylee if we have nothing to go on.

Or even maybe you could copy/paste some of the tips, ideas and theories we've discussed here and see if she can give any more insight that way.

And before anyone says, "oh there you go, giving Casey her defense", simmer down. This is about finding a child, not getting all indignant over what could happen. And besides that, everyone already assumes the Anthonys read here anyway, so that information is already available.

I'm really just grasping at anything that will help us find this sweet little girl.

Will do. I've asked her to give me anything that would not put others in jeapordy. I'm sure she will if she can.

Throughout all of this I still end up with a shred of belief that Caylee is alive. I may have to eat those words, but I'd rather eat those than some mean, vicious words directed at the Anthony's!

I've been thinking a lot about the Anthony's civil rights - yes, they have them! They live in U.S. and have not been charged (excluding Casey's current charges) or convicted of any crime.

I think a lot of what's been going on with the gawkers and protesters is disgusting, and possible harrassment.

I looked this up - the legal definition of harassment according to Black's Law Dictionary is:

"A course of conduct directed at a specific person that causes substantial emotional distress in such person and serves no legitimate purpose" or "words, gestures, and actions which tend to annoy, alarm and abuse (verbally) another person."

This is a big mess, being made no better by the constant surveillance the Anthony's are under. Yes, it's a free country, but should we use that freedom to the good or detriment of another?

If we find out that any of the Anthony's have contributed to the death of Caylee, I think the book should be thrown and them, and I'll help throw! If she's alive and her life has been made miserable by any of them, I think they should also be charged accordingly!

In the meantime, I think we (collectively as human beings) need to watch that we don't don't cause "substantial emotional distress" or use "words, gestures, and actions which tend to annoy, alarm and abuse (verbally)."

If we're going to behave this way, what's the use of having laws that protect the innocent, which we all are until proven guilty?!

Just my (however unpopular) POV.

If I'm not mistaken, I think I read there's also been a reward offered ($50,000) for any info leading to Caylee, including to body.

I would think somebody wants that.

However, I've learned the hard way over the years to honor my gut - I think it's where God speaks to me - and while there is really no decision on my part to be made here, my gut is speaking (softly, I admit!) she's alive.
