I wanted to post why I still hold out hope that she may be alive...
I lived through the Elizabeth Smart case.
Her family was drug through the mud.. her dad and uncle were "gay"
"her dad killed her because he was molesting her" "Richard Reesey
did it and he won't co-operate with the police" "there is evidence
Richard did it" etc etc...
I remember the evidence they "had" against Richard.
"dirt in his car" "tire tracks that matched" "prints" "hair" etc.
An LO and Behold... LOOK what happened!
It's sad that everyone believes LE only "leaks" the truth!
The truth is that NOT one person here KNOWS what evidence they have
or don't have!
I know they say they have evidence but like I have said before...
I'll wait until it's presented in court.
If you sit back and look at all the people who are digging through
trash, camping out with signs (signs posted for the web cam people to see
and NOT the Anthony's), people on here not taking baths and not fixing
dinner?
It is sad!

I'm new to websleuths, this is my first post..I now believe that Caylee is alive..Up until a few days ago, I doubted very much that she was, but there was that nagging thought all the time..I couldn't stop thinking about it (crazy!). Then when the news broke about the fight between Casey and Cindy, I, unlike others, went from doubting very much Caylee was alive, to believing she was alive.. I could kind of understand having conflict with your mother. Not saying Cindy did anything wrong, I'm just saying, if you feel like someone else is trying to control your life (even though they are most likely trying to help), and you then feel threatened that the one thing you love will be taken from you, such as YOUR child, you might take some crazy extreme measures in order to not make that happen...Remember, if this is true, and Cindy was threatening to sue for custody (not saying she was right or wrong because we dont know the whole situation), and if Casey really did love her daughter and feel like she couldnt live without her, then it doesnt seem too strange for her to hide her.. Remember, it's her daughter.. She could do what she pleases (as long as it doesnt harm her). I cant explain the decomposition tests, or the hair sample, or the shovel incident, I'm just saying, I find it soo difficult to believe Casey harmed her daughter, and I 100% DO NOT believe Cindy or George had anything to do with it! So with that being said, I will believe Caylee is alive until it is proven beyond a reasonable doubt that she is not. Until then, I agree with Cindy, I think people should still be looking for a live child, not just in the woods..Let them search the woods..But they should not neglect the fact that it has not been proven she is deceased.

Sorry I wrote a book here! I am just so passionate about this case, as I'm sure you all are, and it was so wonderful when I found this site, and I found this thread, and I realized that I am not crazy..God Bless you all, and god bless Caylee...

YES!! It's the Elizabeth Smart case that makes me believe in all possibilities!! Sorry...I was just excited to see someone else who related to this case in that way. I followed that case closely and was in total awe when she came home. That was amazing! So who knows...maybe an amazing outcome is in the cards for Caylee as well.

I really don't know what else to do.
I've emailed the flyers to several tv stations and newspapers in the Hatillo area, but I'm sure they'll just get lost in the shuffle with all the other emails received daily.
I just wish we had more to go on.

Thank you. I have a daughter who's 19 months and she is the most precious gift that I have ever received. I just look at Casey and think that she is just a few years younger than me, why would she throw it all away... I know a lot of things don't make sense, but I think there is a reason for it. Watching those videos of her and Caylee were heart-warming to me.. That actually was the first thing that made me start to full blow believe CAylee was alive..You can't fake that love..And if I'm wrong, I'm sorry...I just believe in innocent until proven guilty. If the whole incident about Casey buying the tickets to PR is true, I think that that is an absolute FOR SURE signal for someone in PR to start looking into this.. I truly believe that if it's true about the tickets, than that is where they will find Caylee, alive, safe, and healthy.

Yes! Elizabeth Smart is just one of many cases that went awry for so long. Also, in regards to those posting that FBI would know all about this is not true. There are thousands of missing persons who were taken into human-trafficking and still to this day not found. FBI have declared people missing with no resolution or most likely dead -to have someone come forward years later to say they saw one of these people trafficked at a brothel/cantina/sexshop... I have witnessed stories of girls who were found years after being stated as runaways, unresolved, or dead. Just knowing that and being close to this sort of thing gives me enough to think it is as highly possible for Caylee to be alive than dead.

I don't want to be accidentally banned for reporting those who are here to tell us that Caylee is dead.

I don't think LE has a case against Casey beyond what they have charged. I definitely do not believe they have anything against the grandparents either. The treatment of the g/p's is very disturbing.

Ok, couple of things here. First of all someone was asking who were the 4 who went to Puerto Rico. I can't find the fourth for the life of me at this moment. However it was Amy, Ricardo, and JP for sure.

Second, I need to find out for sure when that pizza was ordered. I believe it was on the 19th of June was it not? If so then the "it sat there for 19 days in the trunk in the Florida heat" statement from Cindy is not accurate at all. It's in fact 26 days it sat there in the trunk isn't it??

That's a lot of fly-maggot life cycles. Maggots turn to flies within 8-20 hours. And the cycle repeats, (obviously), so that's 2-3 life cycles each day. When you figure in 26 days.... that's a lot of dead flies! I have found where maggots do have a smell. But do flies decompose??? Is it possible that is where the decomp smell comes from? Anyone have any ideas on this?

That is one of the things they study and find out at the Body Farm.

Regarding the hate in some people's hearts, I agree so much, it has been shocking in this case. The mobs around the Anthonys home, people harrassing the grandparents and trying to made them "admit" that Caylee is dead. It's just unthinkable. Why the police are letting these mobs congregate near someone's home I can't imagine. Whether they are actually on their lawn or just off it, stalking and harrassment are still what they are. It's really shocking and sad how many people have invested their hopes in a dead body being found instead of a living child, when no charges have been brought, no evidence brought to a court yet at all to indicate that the child has died. Why wouldn't everyone continue to hope until actual evidence has made that impossible? I know when I post anything about anybody, I pretty much think (a) what if this person is innocent? (b) would I say this to this person's face if I met them? (c) could I be held liable for what I'm saying? It surprises me that more people don't think of that when posting, especially (c) !!
