Can't argue with any of that! Glad you're here, too...to show our support for Michelle.

A certain JY fan posted somewhere awhile ago that "justice" is only for the living...oh how I disagree with that comment and thought. JMO.

Blows my mind that there has been no arrest. Why? I think the good people of NC should demand an answer to that question.

Mine too, philamena. Why no arrest yet? Why?

It seems like there is enough to arrest him!!! At least to me... of course I have no education in law and/or criminal justice!

It just seems very logical , that if there's no foreign dna, that is, a stranger's dna, that should be a very critical piece in this puzzle.
Is that not enough to arrest him, plus add that to the rest of the facts we know about? Also, the fact that he has never sat down and either answered questions from LE or asked any questions from LE. It's all so very telling to me! Can everyone not see that and 'read between the lines'!

Geez!!!:snooty:

I really do want this arrest made before the one year anniversary of Michelle's vicious murder.

I have always had difficulty with patience. :innocent: ... Sorry Everyone.

What do you believe the ' hold- up' is?

What do you believe the ' hold- up' is?

Someone credible who saw him between midnite and 6 am at or near the murder scene.

Hi sweetmop!:)

Hi sweetmop!:)

Sweet logical jilly. Well you do have a really big point there!:)
Someone had to have seen him, someone!

Do you remember the story or the rumor, that there was a delivery person in the early morning hour on Birchleaf, that had indeed seen JYs car there at the home!??? Where did that tidbit come from? Just posted on here, or was it a news report, what? Or, did I just dream it?

So, LE has all kinds of incriminating evidence, all pointing right at JY, and that's probably what they're lacking? Could he actually ' get away' with the crime if they can't find a credible person with this info, or would they still arrest and try him without that being verified?

Thank you jilly, for bringing me back to reality. You are one smart cookie!

Awww...you're too kind sweetmop because when it comes right down to it - I really don't know - just guessing. Smart, no - because when this guy is charged the real 'smart' posters will return and I'll take a back seat. I've followed a lot of cases but none like this. This guy carefully planned this murder. If they had a fingerprint of his in blood at the house or footprint in the blood AND his shoes then they would know that he'd been there. I don't think they have any of this because if they did he'd be arrested. They need something...anything....to show he was there and not just the fact that it was possible for him to be there.
The Sheriff said this case is complicated. Imo, there's something about his alibi that they can't break.

Yes...there was a rumor about a delivery person. I don't remember if someone said there was or if the discussion was more about what delivery person would be around during those hours.

From all the cases I've followed, murderers usually trip up somewhere but this guy has learned that he has to keep his mouth shut. LE will not forget about him though. There are detectives there that want justice more than you and me.

I am grateful to PE for posting a reward and flyers and ecstatic that they placed an ad in the WOLFPACKER. It's 10 months now. I hope they'll rattle jy again at the one year anniversary and continue until he is charged.

Everytime I find myself becoming frustrated or impatient, I think of Linda Fisher. Can't imagine what she is feeling like.

I so agree Jilly-
I hope and pray this day comes for Michelle

Hi Sweetmop and everyone.
Just checking in. I'm still praying that Michelle and her babie's murderer will soon be arrested.

  • #413
If this has been discussed, forgive me.

Did the police get JY's cellphone records? It would be so convenient if he (ala Bobby Cutts) made phone calls that would place him at his home. :hoping and praying for justice to be served:

Hi philmena! I'm with you in continued prayers for justice for Michell and her baby boy.

Surely, an arrest will happen soon!

Hope you're doing ok, philamena! Good to " see " you!:)

Hi Anita. I am assuming the police did get records from the cellphones. IIRC, they confiscated 3 or 4 cell phones, they just had to have gotten some very interesting information from them, I would think.

JY had to have made a major blunder somewhere!!!

I do feel we'll see justice soon in this case.

Praying for that. And keeping the faith that it will happen soon.

Persistence and a Different Perspective Can Help Solve Cold Cases

Raleigh — When it comes to crime, two kinds of cases stay on people's minds: the ones that are particularly heinous and the ones that do not get solved.

Aspiring dancer and pageant queen Beth Ellen Vinson, pregnant newspaper carrier Jenna Nielsen and Michelle Young, who was found dead in her home with her young daughter unharmed by her side – they are names that resonate because no one has been arrested.

This week, however, a Wake County grand jury indicted Maxine Edmond Pardo, 43, who is wanted on murder charges stemming from the 1994 shaking death of a 2½-year-old boy – showing no cold case is ever really forgotten. (more at link) Click on the little video camera for a report from Amanda Lamb.

No forgetting here, right gang? :snooty:

Yes, they did. The warrants for the phones are linked on this calendar:

http://freecal.brownbearsw.com/MichelleYoung?Op=ShowIt&Date=2006-11-01

One on 11/21 and the other on 12/1.

I think Jason Young was much more careful than Bobby Cutts. More planning involved, imo.

Right. Plus these are the phones that jy allowed LE to find if you know what I mean. This guy had this murder planned very well. He's only left evidence (receipts, phones, laptop) that will benefit himself. He's also said just what he needs to say to people to make out his innocense. jmo
