So "apparently" CN knew Dellen killed Tim. Doesn't that say a whole lot right there? It sure does to me. :gasp: Obviously we know because the charged has not had his day in court, journalists have to say "apparently" or "allegedly".

Shame, shame on CN. She knew DM killed Tim but instead of doing the legal and morally correct thing, she tried to help him escape. :notgood: She deserves a nice, long, prison sentence in one of the prisons where they will be serving up some of that yummy, powdered, milk. Hope she's enjoying her freedom right now because things just might look a whole lot different in a year or so. I cannot help but believe she eventually cooperated with LE and has turned witness for the Crown, hoping her sentence will be light. MOO.

Wonder if CN ended up back in university and got good grades?

Police allege Noudga knew Millard had killed Bosma and assisted in his “escape” last May 9, three days after Bosma disappeared, said Crown Attorney Tony Leitch.

Leitch said Noudga made a statement to police after she was arrested Thursday, but could not say whether she is being co-operative.

“We don’t usually arrest co-operating witnesses,” Leitch said.

At Noudga’s family home in Etobicoke Thursday, neighbour Mark Majchrowski said he saw officers removing a “good deal” of boxes and bags.

After the Star’s Robert C sat down for two extensive jailhouse interviews with Millard last December, the Star reached Noudga by phone.
“Maybe we can talk another time, I’m kind of busy this month,” she said. “I will be out of town. But I don’t really want to talk about it. I might call you back.”

She never did.

Every charge that is laid is based on police alleging something. It is an allegation, as yet unproven. Police believe everyone that they charge is guilty. We know that this is in fact not the case. In my opinion it is still very premature and easy to be basing the case on allegations rather than fact. We do not know that CN knew anything of the kind or even if DM is responsible at this point. I think until the trial happens we will not know the whole truth. Just my opinion, I try to stay calm and not become alarmed about much until the facts are on the table. JMO :summer:

BBM - We know this is in fact not the case? Pardon? What is not the case and who is "we"? Unproven in a court of law that is. ;) LE know truths but cannot say for obvious reasons. Alleged doesn't mean it ain't so. HTH.

Interesting that there were so many reporters reporting on this case, and they all poisoned the water hole, printing all the same information, just worded differently and coming to the same theories/conclusions in their reports, hmm. What they were told by LE was all fabricated? Some may question sources close to the case but those sources most likely are valid and reliable sources. Reporters have a reputation to uphold, therefore they are going to scout out sources for truths not fairy tales. Their first line of defence they will go to is LE. Many sources happen to be coroners, specialists, detectives, witnesses, family and/or friends.

Regarding CN, interestingly enough Leitch said, “We don’t usually arrest co-operating witnesses.” Apparently CN was arrested because she did not cooperate. Sounds like after her arrest she cooperated and she implicated herself (and probably DM also). Whatever CN told LE, they obviously felt the need to go to her parents home and take away a good deal of boxes and bags. What did CN tell LE they would find as evidence in her parents house? ALL MOO.

@susanclairmont Is it difficult to know what you can divulge?

No, easy to know: absolutely nothing.

Well we know today was long and tedious so likely not much said in terms of evidence today:

I spent a long, somewhat tedious day in court at the Tim #Bosma pretrial. His parents Hank and Mary were there for every bit of it.

Maybe tomorrow will be another court day for DM and MS. Wonder if DP showed up today? :waitasec: I don't know why something such as that cannot be reported on or tweeted. :dunno:

Hmm guess this case isn't as BIG as some assume, with so many following it closely. Great! That means the chances of being able to find a unbias jury looks promising. MOO.

Wonder if the defense will seek for a change in venue?

@susanclairmont It must be so frustrating as a journalist to not be able to report on cases such as this.

<snip>

I've wondered that myself. I live in the area where this all happened. In fact, I drive by the Bosma house on a regular basis as well as the farm where Tim Bosma was eventually found.

At the time of the abduction it was quite frantic around here and everybody knew and everybody was looking. When the arrest happened, the attention to the case skyrocketed.

It's been 2 years now and if you asked someone what they thought about the Tim Bosma case a lot of them say, "oh yeah...whatever happened with that?"

The wheels of justice run so slowly here that by the time the case finally goes to trial, the drama and the emotion have ebbed away. I think they could find an impartial jury here, however, I do think the defence will ask for a change of venue.

If they do, I'm thinking it will go to Toronto. They'd want a cosmopolitan area where they can call on a huge pool of people.

The Paul Bernardo trial got moved from St. Catharines to Toronto. Problem is though, Dellen Millard is from a suburb of Toronto. They were touched too. It'll be interesting.

Also, because the Babcock and Wayne Millard murder cases are Toronto based, it will be interesting to see if those cases will be tried in Toronto, if these cases are heard at all. JMO

DM will love sitting through one or two more trials after TB's. It will get him out of his residence for a bit, change of scenery. If he runs out of moola, there's always legal aid. At this point I don't think he's too worried about money because he realizes it won't serve him a purpose in the future other then for prison canteen purchases and to pay for his legal fees. JMO.

I don't think it will get that far. Just my opinion.

Because DM will plead on the other two, or because DM will run out of money and plead on the other two?

Could be that what is covered in the first trial sheds light on the others. Just an opinion.

You're probably right. The evidence presented in TB's case will tie in with WM and LB's cases and will be overwhelming, DM's lawyer will convince him to plead guilty. Co accused may likely play an important role also. MOO.
