I think you're right. I had the tattoo info as the 9th on my timeline, but most of what I find now indicates that the press conference was on the 10th. I wonder why or how this article got back-dated to the 9th?

http://www.hamiltonnews.com/community/young-mom-pleads-for-safe-return-of-much-loved-husband-and-father/

SB's "it's only a truck" press conference was on the 9th, and that ^ article refers to it having happened "yesterday".

The Star's exclusive interview with DM gives the timeline for events on the 10th,

http://www.thestar.com/news/gta/201...didnt_kill_tim_bosma_exclusive_interview.html

Thre is a transcript for the press conference of the 10th in the transcripts thread.

Sorry, I agree. I wasn't thinking about the reference to him just selling for a friend who sells. I think his connection was much closer than that as well.

"Ok maybe not, BAD customer: someone that flips out and rats to police."

I'm not sure what to think about that police report made in March. Does she "rat" to police or does she look for revenge when she's angry?

JMO

Giving someone a pet as a gift is never a great idea, unless you are a parent who is going to take responsibility for its care anyway.

A gift of a big, hungry (expensive to feed) high energy (must be exercised daily) husky, an at least 10 year commitment, to an unemployed stoner, was not a good idea.

Now imagine how the boyfriend of 2 months felt, receiving a gift that got sick and put him on the hook for $4k in vet bills from LB's perspective.

It's easy to imagine that the boyfriend did not want any part of any of this. A gift he didn't want, then a charge of theft after the animal gets sick and needs vet care LB pays for? That's one heck of a gift.

I'm not sure that her complaint to LE had merit, and it does sound like an act of revenge.

LB sounds like she had not grown up yet, and was unable to handle her emotions maturely. She sought drugs to change her mood, both on the street and from doctors:

Babcock underwent a series of doctor’s appointments and medical tests that resulted in uncertainty. Friends say she told them she was diagnosed with severe depression, anxiety, borderline personality disorder and bipolar disorder. Every doctor told her something different. Some told her nothing was wrong at all.

http://www.thestar.com/news/crime/2...ck_leaves_lingering_questions_for_police.html

She had emotional problems for which she did not seek counseling, but instead, pills. Why else see the doctor? All they can do for you is give you a prescription. A bipolar disorder diagnosis is often used for an addict in denial.

You could be right.
A close family friend of ours has a painkiller addiction. He, too, has many doctors, due to having seen so many specialists over the years for what seems to be a never-ending list of ailments and surgeries resulting therefrom. According to his (now ex) wife, he managed to get pills from all of the doctors on a unsuspecting schedule.

Drugs like cocaine and ecstacy really make you feel horrible when you come down. If you tell your doctor all of your symptoms and nothing about your drug use, for sure you can get a diagnosis of bipolar disorder, anxiety and so forth.

Ecstacy boosts seritonin levels in the brain intensely. Antidepressants from the doc will boost seritonin at a more moderate level. Cocaine acts on dopamine, seritonin and norepinephrine, and you can modify the effects of withdrawal with a combination of bipolar meds and antidepressants.

On the other hand, plenty of people with mental disorders have been known to "self-medicate".

Laura is a victim here, so let's treat her with respect. Let's give her the benefit of the doubt - it's quite possible that she took it upon herself to give Austerweil a dog as a present without his input but I think it's equally possible that he really wanted/asked for a husky and she responded by buying him one. After all, we only have Austerweil's account - Laura isn't here to speak for herself.

From Ann Brocklehurst' new article:

Matthew Ward-Jackson, charged with weapons trafficking in April, has almost no web presence under his own name. Instead, the 27-year old with extensive tattoos on his face and body used the online aliases @Krucifix14, Krucifix North and @BIGiisho to document his life as an aspiring gangsta-style rapper. Instagram photos, YouTube videos and Facebook posts show him pouring champagne over women’s thong-clad backsides, throwing money around and taking bubble baths in a heart-shaped red tub.

Since this guy is a wannabe rapper, maybe there is a connection between the guys who made that music video with Smich in it. JMO

Lots of shiny muscle cars in the music videos and photos I've seen related to the gun guy too. Hmmmm...

I noticed a candy apple red car on MWJ instagram that I think I may have seen in the background of a shot at DM's hangar. I have to analyse the shot closer because it looks like it may be in DM's Etobicoke garage. Has anyone else taken a look? Am I way off base?

Perhaps. I just watched the video on

YouTube http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=8sDuhr-gTM8&feature=youtu.be

and at times was laughing out loud at what a low production, cheesy, "look at me I'm a gangsta" contrived piece of crap it was. Apparently MJW went to TFS (Toronto film school). DM went to TFS (Toronto French school)? I wonder if MJW actually went to Toronto French School and they crossed paths?

MWJ interview. His accent and speech pattern switches back and forth throughout the interview. He seems to be trying really hard to get some street cred. A bit like DM and MS. I'd love to know more about MWJs background. Is he from an upper middle class family? The hyphenated last name would suggest it to me.
Interesting comment by Realtalk about the woman in the video. There is so much scum in the world.

Not sure if these are the cars you're referring to, but the dark red lowrider on MWJ's Instagram is an Oldsmobile and the dark red car seen on AM's FB is a Cadillac convertible.

Thanks! Those were the ones that I was referring to so clearly no crossover in cars. Did you happen to notice if the background stuff against the wall in MWJs shot have any similarities to DMs garage in Etobicoke?

There is an interesting message in a graphic form from over 22w ago on Krucifix 14 Instagram saying that Krucifix is "in da bin". If you read the comments it looks like they are alluding to getting hit up or dealt drugs while.he is still in jail. I wonder how involved LE is in following SM for these types of criminals.

On his Instagram there is a tattoo that reads "Bad *****es Gang" and a message signed "the Original BBG".

Makes me wonder if MS was caught spraypainting "BBG" on some Oakville overpass.

That is, all of a sudden, I am very curious what message MS had to share with the world, on some Oakville overpass.

I am amazed at what people share on Instagram.

Blatant.

WARNING!!!!

Charges against five of the seven people in the January raid have been withdrawn.

It would be great if their names weren't repeated here as several of those charged had their reputations damaged by the initial coverage and lack of follow-up.

Still facing charges are MWJ and Joseph Horth.

Can forum moderators help?

I stand corrected. MWJ's dark red lowrider is a 1986 Buick Regal.
