Tim Miller funded Misty's trip to Orlando & also reveals shocking info about Ron.

- PCSO has been unable to get a "straight story" from this 17 year old girl in the last 8 months.
- FDLE has been unable to get a "straight story" from this 17 year old girl in the last 8 months.
- The FBI has been unable to get a "straight story" from this 17 year old girl in the last 8 months.
- Her family has been unable to get a "straight story" from this 17 year old girl in the last 8 months.
- Her friends in jail have been unable to get a "straight story" from this 17 year old girl in the last 8 months.
- Her boyfriend, by sticking with her and even marrying her, has been unable to get a "straight story" from this 17 year old girl in the last 8 months.
- Tim Miller, by providing a "best friend" to bond with her, has been unable to get a "straight story" from this 17 year old girl in the last 8 months.

It's starting to look to me like the story this 17 year old girl has been sticking to these last 8 months might be the best she can recall as to what happened that night. It's hard to believe that none of these attempts, using all these techniques, by all these people, experienced and unexperienced, after all this time, have all totally failed at essentially changing her basic story.

bbm, since you asked, LOL
I would have been honest, taken her under my wing, ministered to her, seen to her safety beyond a gas station, allowed her to talk and just be a "Listener", re-counted all the facts and direct testimony by Misty I felt necessary to reveal in order to inspire some truthful communication. I would have covered all the consequences of lying and involvement on her behalf if true, I would remind her of the pain and suffering this has caused not only her, but Haleigh and her family. Saying it another way, I would have acted like the real Mother/friend I portrayed myself to be from the beginning.

If all this failed, I would remind her of my love, take her to LE's door, announce to them in front of Misty what I had been up to for whatever amount of days, and that I gave it my best shot. I was done on that end, and lastly leave them all with one last memory: Announcing I would continue on searching for Haleigh with all my might. :blushing::angel:

and then what? Which direction would you look in?

And Tim had Donna doing all of those things....maybe not in the exact way some would like, but in the way he thought best. I can't fault him for trying. He knows first hand what Misty is like, so maybe he thought the path they chose was a good one.....we can all look back and say well, we would have done it this way, but we were not there. He was. I just hope someone pays attention and protects JR.

In the words of one of our esteemed posters..."I don't believe this."

An innocent child is missing, maybe dead, and I would use any way possible to learn the truth from those I thought knew something. I applaud TM for trying to get to the bottom of this mystery. JMO

The point is how come nobody - nobody - not even TM, has been able to break her down and get the true story? I find this unbelievable! Maybe the only explanation is that her "story" is basically true. I think this possibility has to be considered, even though nobody wants to.

First I totally respect what you are saying, however, look at Casey Anthony. That girl has lied through her teeth for over a year, saying the nanny did it.

There's been too many indicators that it is not. LDT's, Voice Analysis, looking under beds that don't have any "under". Haleigh's shirt in the dirty laundry that she supposedly wore to bed that night. No detergent in the house for the laundry that she couldn't have cleaned, the bed being made when he got home at 3:27 am (by his own words), her going to bed at 10:30 pm when her brother went to the home at 10 pm with no lights on, she got up to get a drink of water, then it was to use the bathroom, then she didn't know why she woke up, a witness seeing her at another home that night doing drugs, etc. etc. etc.

LE knows far more than we do at this point and we're not privy to that info as it is an ongoing investigation. They claim she is not telling the truth. Since this is their area of expertise and there are new investigators on the case, I tend to believe what they are saying with so much conviction. It's just a matter of time. Before this is over, they may well be calling in the paddy-wagons because the jail in Palatka isn't big enough. I just pray Haleigh will be found when all is said and done.

That's a valid point, static. I know there are some similarities between the two. But, there aren't many people quite like Casey Anthony, whatever her problem is. I still find it hard to believe that none of these varied people, using all these varied techniques, has been able to get the real story from Misty. It's sure not from lack of trying.

bbm - AMEN to that!!
I think we all agree that there are many indicators that her story is inconsistent with various evidence and contains some untruths. The problem is that we don't know if part of what she is saying is true and, if so, what part. If she did something she wasn't supposed to and is afraid to admit it, then this could account for the test failures. But, the essence of her being home and not sure what happened could be true. (or not, but we don't know!)

You don't just do what you want at any cost. Even to find a missing child.
Snipped with respect:

I understand where you are coming from morally, but I do know that if my child were missing, you couldn't believe the lengths that I would be willing to go, or allow others to go, to find my child.

That is, if I had nothing to hide. JMO.

Misty has been rewarded for keeping her silence. As long as she gets that reward, in whatever form, there is no one who will "break" her.

Did those divorce papers get filed today?

  • #93
When did Ron alert Misty that someone was trying to get the truth out of her? Just because Ron has decided to divorce Misty, doesn't mean he's going for the jugular. Doesn't mean he doesn't have some kind of common decency inside himself for her? It was foul and un-truthful to set Misty up with someone who was suppose to care for her as a Mother friend figure. Divorce doesn't mean you sit back and watch someone be took advantage of. He clearly has stated he believes Misty, he was close to the situation and he should know as best or as good as anyone if she more than likely is being truthful versus not being truthful.

added thought in general:
I didn't hear Ron's attorney state or himself for that matter, that Misty keeps changing her stories as being reported on this thread. Ron's attorney stated, "she doesn't tell it the same way with the exact words everytime".

You don't just do what you want at any cost. Even to find a missing child.

I usually lurk and absorb, but there are some things that will bring me out to post. Are you kidding me? It is foul and untruthful to have someone pretending to "get" her? OMG a child is probably not with us anymore and we are worried about being dishonest with MC? PLEEEASE. I hope everything she said and did, while she was getting her hair "did", and her nails, and her make-up - just everything, I hope it all comes back to bite her, not once but seeeevvvvvvverraal times.

It's possible, but no probable. We can't forget that LE has evidence that we know nothing about.

Welcome and am glad to have you here in Haleigh's forum, post bunches.
I understand, and believe you would move Heaven, Earth and the Universe if it were you. Your children are probably well protected and supervised, and I know you keep them covered, and may they never be harmed, nor dash their toe against a stone even.

I think we all have had to walk on that dark side before, you know what I mean? Meaning be caught in the middle of something, having to make a decision, and morality does become an issue. Don't think too many of us go through life un-touched in this area of dealing with life and people.

But I can state this with all truth and honesty, I've always seen a way, staying in the light, and morally to handle a situation and not go down that path in what we're discussing here. Of course, it would take some thought, advice, searching and pleading, but something always comes that allows that moral code so to speak, to be maintained in any situation.

I do want to make it clear, I won't quit supporing Tim, he does good for others. I appreciate him greatly. I do feel his plan could have worked by what I stated earlier, at least having just as much a chance, as now we have seen it didn't work. Where at least, there's not feelings of betrayal or anger. Hopefully, the case is making progress and we just haven't been told yet.

Well obviously you have judged Misty to be guilty as not charged. Until LE arrests her with allegations of wrong doing at the very least, I will continue to keep my mind open til LE has identified the perp in Haleigh's case. Obviously, this dishonesty and pretending had nothing good for Haleigh to come out of it.

You're absolutely right KOOL. Nothing good did come out of it as it did backfire, bigtime! For all intents and purposes, the motivation behind it was honorable in that it was for the right reasons. Finding Haleigh. All these obstacles and spider web schemes has just clouded the entire objective. Haleigh is still gone and no one seems to know how, why or where. Someone needs to be accountable for that but it is just possible we may never know.

So, if it had worked, you wouldn't have had any objections as to the methods used?

Time for me to go to bed. Nite all.

Sweet colorful dreams. No, I would still feel the same, as I've had to make choices in the past, and gratefully was able to maintain what I believe good "Faith" towards others. What I meant that may have caused you to ask, about my objections, is that I'm forced to believe the extra stuff that follows, the bigger picture of how it has played out for the cause.

I think Tim's heart was in the right place, and I don't want to put him down, and he probably would have done something different now. It just was messed up from get jump street, indicators it wasn't a good thing. But we learn along the way. I think Tim is a good caring citizen. Goodnight too! Hugs and peace.
