Tim Miller funded Misty's trip to Orlando & also reveals shocking info about Ron.

:furious:I would really like to know why LE and DCF were not called right then and there? Right when this first happen, does anyone know the date of this incident?

"IMO" If this would of been anyone else they would of been "Baker Act" right away and the child taken into protective custody. Why did it take until Tuesday Oct 13, 2009 for LE - DCF to come out? What if something would of happen to Jr. or anyone else? One child has been missing for over 8 months, DCF was called on Ron several times in the past and found him to be a fit parent. Well, obviously there is a problem when DCF is called more than once. What the heck is going on in that town?

Sad to say but is seems it is going to take another tragedy to happen before Jr. is put in a safe environment and for LE to put some criminals behind bars and some in the Mental Institution.

George Anthony was "Baker Act" when he threatened to take his life, why is Ron still allowed to roam the streets when he has not only threatened himself, but others? I also would like to know what he used his gun for previously? He stated he would need it one more time, again this is a serious threat not only on his life but others.

How many cases have there been when a parent will take their life and some of their family members and others as well? I am in total dismay and disappointment with DCF, LE and the Courts in Putnam County.

Jr. was in the room when this happened!

Junior was watching and listening to all that was said and happening!

Ron states that if he found out Misty had some involvement, he’d blow her teeth through the back of her head! (This is not the first time Ron has made claims to hurt Misty if I am not mistaken, didn't he tell Cobra something along the same thing?)

“Then while all are watching, assuming Jr. as well, Ron put the (assault rifle) down on floor, butt first, and almost got on his knees, bent over, and put the barrel in his mouth, and says, ‘I’ll kill her, and then kill myself, and take a few others with me.’

Tim said, Ronald give me that damn gun! You don’t need that gun around here. We don’t need anymore problems,’ and Ron said, ‘No, I’ll need this one more time.’"Snip" http://www.artharris.com/2009/10/12/...dercover-mama/

IIRC it was stated by TM's lawyer, I think, that it was more important for them to get close to Misty than it was to report the gun incident. :waitasec:

The options are not limited to:

- LE did not like what Tim was doing
or
- LE set it up themselves

LE only needed to give Tim a wink and a nod to support him. There is NO evidence that he went against their wishes. It's simply an assumption made and pushed by those who are eager to discredit him.

-snip-

I don't hear LE jumping up and down about what Tim tried to do. They knew and there was an open line of communication between him and LE throughout the fiasco with Misty and DB. So, how is that "interfering" in LE's investigation? If they had felt that way, they would have told him. They certainly had many opportunities to do so, thanks to Tim.
Thanks, Baznme. Too many people are jumping on the bandwagon to censure Tim Miller on the baseless assumption that LE did not appreciate what he was doing, imo.

Do we know the details of what all LE knew and approved? No, but in my world, a man with a past like Tim Miller's deserves the benefit of the doubt over a man with a past like RC's.

This is kind of off topic but I'm seeing this as a side show in all honesty.

It is kind of a double edged sword. It keeps Haleigh's name and case in the media, but on the other had at the same time it distracts from her in a way. IMHO.

I don't have an opinion about this latest development to be honest because I don't have enough facts. I have read what was said at other sites and heard what has been said on TV ~ but I still don't have enough facts.

IMHO and only meant to state my stance not to disagree with anyone else that has an opposite stance ~ this latest drama is just that ~ drama.

Even if TM inserted himself in this case as it is being suggested that he did (Klaus read him the riot act last night on NG) I can understand that his mission is to bring Haleigh home by any ways and means. Like I said I don't know what TM had planned, I don't know if the suggestions being made at this time are true ~ it's just not important to me at this time, what is important is a child is missing and she has been missing for a very long time. It's time for her to come home, by any way or mean.

Just my two cents and that's about what it's worth too.

Crystal's mom Marie has read that message I sent her on Myspace about Ronald and the gun w. Junior in the room. I didn't hear anything back from her so hopefully she gets on Crystal about getting Junior out of that house.

The fact that someone credible says it did happen makes it worth investigating.

TM is putting his reputation on the line by making the information public.

imo

I think he's already made himself look horrible jmo, and this was a CYA move, jmo

When Ronald's lawyer makes an excuse for a statement regarding blowing someone's teeth into the back of their head and then killing himself, I'd say that the comment was made. The lawyer justified it. Says to me it happened.

I read or heard this statement about the threat Ron made, weeks ago. What I am wondering is, why wasn't something done before now? This didn't happen last week, I'm thinking it was at least a month ago, maybe more. Why wasn't LE notified then? Why wasn't DCF called about the danger to Jr.? Something is just not adding up here.

Has there been any mention of how TM funded this road trip?

I don't think the kind people who donate their hard earned money to TES would be too happy about it being used in this way. (If it was from TES donations)

Tim, himself, said the money was taken from donations. It's in his exclusive "interview" w/ Art Harris.

He estimates the polygraph and other truth testing expenses totalled about $8,000 and the road trip about $2,000, funded out of TES donations as valid expenses in the search for a missing child. “The goal was to gain her trust, and the next thing you know, Misty was acting like Donna was her mother,” asking her opinion and advice, he said.

If you are referring to the NG show, that's not what Mark NeJame said.

MARK NEJAME, ATTORNEY FOR TIM MILLER: Yes, I think if Tim had an opportunity to do a do-over on this, he would have. What ended up happening is, is that he did tell the police about this, but at the time, the focus was on her polygraph, her voice stress analysis, the hypnosis, all of which failed. So he let them know. But a month or so later, everybody said, Whoa, there`s a rifle in that, you know, closet and there`s another child in the house. But at the time, the focus was really on, you know, what is Misty holding back and what is she not telling everybody?

After the Marc Klaas tirade, he also said:

NEJAME: And he`s found his 102nd person today. You think outside the box. Law enforcement was at a dead end. Every effort being made to find this child who`s either dead or missing was utilized. And to find the child, you use any legal means necessary.

There`s not a rule book that says you can only do it one way. He should be applauded for doing whatever it took to help find a missing or a dead child. To be criticized for that is wrong and outrageous.

Concerned Papa, Thanks for posting this passage from last night's show. I didn't have time today to find it.

Notice what Nejame DOESN'T SAY. He says TM "did tell the police but, at the time, the focus was on her polygraph...." Now, that could mean that he told LE at the time of the gun incident or it could mean that at the time of the gun incident he did not in fact tell LE about the gun because "the focus was on her polygraph." If he indeed told LE at the time of the incident, why would LE all of a sudden say, a month later, "Whoa, there`s a rifle in that, you know, closet and there`s another child in the house." If the incident was as disturbing as the account in the blog suggests, it would take about 10 minutes of the sheriff's time to call child welfare to check out the allegation and send out a deputy. The "So he let them know" could connect back to the previous statements or ahead.

Nejame said, "But at the time, the focus was really on, you know, what is Misty holding back and what is she not telling everybody?" Whose focus? LE's? Tim Miller's? If nothing else, Nejame created a giant tangle of ambiguous statements, all of which suggest that Tim Miller did the right thing--"he let them know." We just don't know when he did that, or why, or why he wouldn't also speak to others about Ron's emotional state and the threats he had made.

I wonder if there were any payments made to Ms. Ballinger.

do you think that the whole road rage incident was a set up to try and attempt to "prove" claims about mistys explosive temper?

imo, i don't think she sounded as scared as some think in the 911 call. she sounded nervous, however that may be because she wanted to get her story straight when she called 911.
she used the word "like" too many times when on the phone with the operator, and imo, she wasn't scared for her life.

I think it was part of the "Plan Misty" set up. JMO

It failed miserably, if it was a plan.

I agree. Those donations are intended to fund physical searches - not to play mind games with suspects.

I am really surprised that TM is putting his professional reputation and credibility in jeopardy by becoming so unprofessionally involved in this way.
