Walk into any Albertson's store anywhere, and the first thing you see are the monitors hanging over the door. Shouldn't be difficult to get the tapes, as long as they don't erase them each day.

Before I get confused...I want to make sure I understand...

TH went to 2 FM stores and an Albertson's as well?

LE asked for video footage from the Albertson's Store on Beaverton Hillsdale Hwy for June 4th. Not sure if she went there or not but curious that it wasn't part of the press conference that showed the two FM stores. Did they not find her on that tape and it's been discounted now? Why did they think she went there? Curious!

This is the part thats really bothering me too!!! I have a two year old and if for any reason I drive around and he falls asleep in the car, it stinks to have to wake him to bring him in the house or elsewhere...in my opinion, there is no way she could have been hoping for Baby K to fall asleep or she wouldnt have been able to go to the gym and keep her sleeping...and in my experience, if the baby is sick and cranky, once you get him/her to sleep there is no way you are going to disturb that slumber and risk even more crankiness by awakening him/her before they "get all their sleep out"...

This is way too hinky for me as well. As a Mom of three that were all cranky/sick at one time or another, I can't imagine going through all of that to put a child to sleep only to wake them up a few minutes later. This goes against everything that my own 'motherly instincts' tell me. As a mother, I think I would actually be more inclined to believe TH had she said she drove for over an hour to put her to sleep and then sat in the danged truck with her outside of her house until the baby woke up from her nap! THAT I have done!!! (Maybe not for an hour but YKWIM). Just one more thing that doesn't fit in, in my opinion. :twocents:

And there are approximately 4,000,000 mothers- differences because of multiples.

Everyone of those babies is different, and when they are toddlers, they require approximately 4,000,000 different techniques. Surely, regardless of whether TH is guilty of anything, we are straining at gnats to try to over-analyze and criticize her baby-soothing techniques. We've only heard bits and pieces of Baby K's timeline, and some of them seem to be contradictory. But some babies do have ear pain from teething. Some babies do sleep soundly after being lulled to sleep riding around.
TH's descriptions of her morning may or may not hang together, but none of the baby stuff seems particularly irregular to me.

Didn't TH's email say that BabyK DIDN'T go to sleep and that's why she went on to the gym?? TH didn't have to wake the baby up... JMHO

Right, but the point is that she TRIED for over an hour to get her to sleep knowing she was going to have to wake her up in a few minutes to go to the gym, allegedly. I'm not buying that. :twocents:

MOO

Has Kaine Horman said anything about the ride around to soothe the baby to sleep? He might be in a position to know if it usually works for his child or if it was usual for Terri to do that.

Combined info from the Two Timeline Articles and Terri's Emails

Grocery Shopping

First Article: According to multiple sources, Terri Moulton Horman says she left Skyline School at 8:45 in the morning without Kyron the day he disappeared and that between 8:45 a.m. and 10:10 a.m. she ran errands at local grocery stores and can prove it.

Terri's emails: I left the school at 9 and he was seen with a man “chaperone” and 2 girls after I left. I have a receipt showing I was checked out at Fred Meyer 7 miles away at 9:12am. I went to another FM looking for meds for Kitty they didn’t have at the first FM.

Driving on Rural Roads

First Article: Between 10:10 in the morning and 11:39, Terri said she drove her daughter K around on rural roads in the family’s white truck because K had an earache. She said she was trying to soothe the toddler with the motion of the vehicle.

Second Article: She told investigators that she drove K around a series of rural roads for an hour, saying she was trying to calm her down because she didn't feel well.

Terri's emails: Then I was trying to get Kitty to sleep in the truck for a few minutes, but no go, so off to the gym at 11:20.

Gym

First Article: At 11:39 a.m., Terri checked in at a 24-hour Fitness in Beaverton on Waterhouse Avenue and worked out for about an hour until 12:40 p.m.

Second Article: She went to the gym for about 45 minutes that morning and arrived home about 1 p.m. to post pictures from the science fair on her Facebook page.

Terri's emails: Then I was trying to get Kitty to sleep in the truck for a few minutes, but no go, so off to the gym at 11:20. Out at 12:20.

Back Home

First Article: By 1:21, Terri said she'd traveled home - a distance of nearly 11 miles - and was posting photos on Facebook she'd taken that morning of Kyron standing with his science project and of his friend, K, standing with his.

Second Article: She went to the gym for about 45 minutes that morning and arrived home about 1 p.m. to post pictures from the science fair on her Facebook page.

Terri's emails: Home at 12:45.

From LE (MCSO) on June 5:

News Release from: Multnomah Co. Sheriff's Office MULTNOMAH COUNTY SHERRIFF'S OFFICE CONTINUES SEARCH FOR 7 YEAR OLD KYRON HORMAN
Posted: June 5th, 2010 9:06 AM

Kyron's stepmother reports she last saw him at approximately 845 AM Friday, walking down the hallway towards his classroom. School staff report not seeing him after 845 AM and that he did not make it to his classroom.

From Lt. Mary Lindstrand of MCSO, on the phone, in this video, from June 5.

It should be noted that she doesn't say that it was Terri that told her this info, but I have seen this information attributed to Terri, so I wanted to note it here for reference, that Lt. Mary does not say this info came from Terri:

His stepmother and he were in the school looking at the science fair, had been in 2 or 3 different classrooms. I am told he went up one stairwell. She went up the other stairwell. She saw him walking down the hall toward his classroom, and that’s the last she saw him.

Fact: Terri Horman drove from Skyline Elem. School to Sauvie Island and then to Beaverton, Oregon.

May I respectfully ask where you are getting your information from Beatrice? Is there a link in the MSM that reported this information? TIA! ~JMO~

I looked around and all I could find was that Terri said she drove around for 45 minutes and not that she went to Sauvie Island. Until we can locate the information, it is not a fact that she was on Sauvie Island.

However, one can speculate she was there due to the extensive searching on the island.

It looked like, in the Dateline show, that it would have taken her just about the whole 90 minutes if she had driven out there and back, if I remember correctly, to be at the gym by 11:30 or so. Does anyone recall exactly? It seemed to be about 40 minutes each way?

On the Dateline thread (which is now closed since the show is over) I mentioned to Freefallzzzz that it didn't seem to take that long when she and I drove from the school to Sauvie Island. She said that is correct because the Dateline route was a long route to use. It is much faster to go via Corn Pass, which is the way Freefallzzzz took me. I don't know why they didn't mention that there is a quicker route on the show. That really bugs me that they did that.

bumping for reference: SI timeline, please go here, and add anything you have to help.
