SHERIFF’S OFFICE LOOKING FOR WOMAN MISSING SINCE SEPTEMBER

MARYVILLE, TENNESSEE - Blount County Sheriff James Lee Berrong is asking for the public’s help in locating a 22-year-old Alcoa woman who was last seen August 24.

We announced on September 13, 2018 that Cheyenne Tonisha Shropshire, whose last known address is a hotel on Alcoa Highway, was reported missing by her family on September 8. A family member told deputies the last contact the family had with Cheyenne was around August 21, and she was last seen August 24 near a business on Alcoa Highway.

Sheriff’s investigators continue to follow-up all leads on the case. If anyone has seen or heard from Cheyenne since August 24 or knows her location, please call Sheriff’s Office Investigations during normal business hours at (865)273-5001. You may also leave an anonymous message on the 24 hour Crime Hotline at (865)273-5200, or leave a tip on the Text-a-Tip link under the Public Information tab on the BCSO website at www.bcso.com.

BCSO searching for woman missing for months

She has a Facebook page. It's pretty foul-mouthed and crude so not linking here. The last post the day before she went missing was a little disturbing, almost as if she was threatening someone (in my opinion)

Details of Disappearance
Shropshire was last seen at the Alcora Inn where she was staying on Alcoa Highway in Alcoa, Tennessee on August 24, 2018. She was Brandon Michael Aguirre at the time. Shropshire had told multiple people that she was scared of Aguirre and thought he might kill her. She has never been heard from again. Her family reported her missing on September 8.

It's uncharacteristic of Shropshire to be out of touch with her two-year-old daughter and other relatives. Her case remains unsolved.

A quick Google search shows that BA got in a bit of trouble while fleeing from cops just a week after Cheyenne was last seen. Curious to know if this had anything to do with her case since they didn't state that he had anything illegal in his possession that would cause him to flee or any warrants. They did mention in another artical that he was charged with theft of property at the time but I cannot understand why you would flee not one but two traffic stops for that. He also seems to have a long criminal history dating at least back to 2015, if not earlier.

Not accusing, but I am curious to know if they questioned him any since he was with Cheyenne at the time according to what was posted above.

She mentions a daughter on her FB page. I hope the daughter is in a loving home now, while her mother is missing.
From what I've read, she is currently with Cheyenne's mother and the father and his family are also very much involved in the child's life. I'd love to see her come home. I can't imagine what the family is going through.

Tatiana, I do not know the family, however I live in Northeast Tennessee. I'm sorry if I came off as knowing the family. I was just trying to find more information to help bring this girl home. Thank you for taking your time to show me how to become verified. This may be helpful in the future if something ever happens in my area. God forbid it does.

Don't feel sorry! I think many of us feel close to these missing people. I always feel so sad for their families who are searching for their missing loved ones. And you know know what to do if you ever see a post from a relative of a missing person--always offer them a chance to become verified!

@P. Kitty, do you know the family? Perhaps you can become a Verified Insider--then you can post important information without mainstream media/law enforcement links. Here is the information

I'm not a close family member, only knew her for about a year, but I was apart of her friend group in college. I remember the four of us going to a tattoo shop and supporting our friend getting piercings after class one day. She was closer to our friend, K, my roommate than to me. when she told us she got pregnant, she was bummed about leaving school, but excited to start a family with her ex.

I'm friends with her on FB and saw that her life had did a 180. She didn't seem like the same Cheyenne I knew at college. There was a lot of back and forth from boyfriends and family. I never thought it would be like this. I knew she had family had broken up and that she was struggling. I wish I was a better friend and talked to her. I moved away from there and never looked back, but It's been eating at me to not know what happened to my old friend.

@maythefource , telling us a little bit about Cheyenne, sharing some of her life with us, shows me that you are a good friend! Our situations change, so our friend group changes.

RIP, Ms. Shropshire, peace & comfort to your friends & family.
