wouldn't it be expected to find GF's DNA on sheets? Was it mixed with Male DNA?

I was wondering the same thing. Also, couldn't Vanessa have been on the sheets because there's the possibility that she slept on those? I know Daphne said there were sheets that she didn't use because she didn't like them. That doesn't mean that Vanessa didn't use them when she stayed there. I'm not defending her in any way, just trying to figure things out.
